on arrival everything went well and the service was very quick. It was also very busy Unfortunately, on meeting the Doctor, it appeared that he was telling me what I had learned from a meeting four days previously. On checking he found the appointment had been replicated. I thought that I was appearing to hear from the surgeon who would be carrying out my operation and I was very disappointed to hear that I was not I had just made a 20 mile journey to arrive which turned out to be a complete waste of my time and the Doctors. I asked him how long it would be before I would receive a date for my operation and he suggested it would be probably be between sin and eight months. I left with no apology and on leaving somebody else was “ thanking” the department for wasting her time. I wondered how often this happened and whether it was a private hospital trying to get patients to perhaps consider going private instead of waiting for such a long time. I would not want it to be taken up with the doctor in case he is the person who carries out my op!

Everything was swift but friendly. I felt I was treated as a person. Given good instructions on the whole process. Everyone seemed to know what they were doing. Nurses were experienced. Doctors were friendly and reassuring. I did feel things were a little rushed on the morning after my operation but still remained the commitment to ensure everything was done for my discharge later in the afternoon which felt much calmer. I will state though I did need an unexpected return to xray which probably added extra pressure on the staff but this again was handled swiftly and efficiently.

Gave lifestyle advice to optimise success of medical treatment, thus improving the chances of a positive outcome. Friendly yet professional manner. I left feeling more optimistic than I did following my NHS appointment with a Respiratory Consultant. I will be recommending her to my family and friends if they are in need of a Respiratory Consultant.

The staff at the front desk didn’t come across as very engaging or friendly. I was asked for my details, told I’d be checked in, and then asked to take a seat. The interaction felt rushed and impersonal. I ended up waiting almost 30 minutes to be seen and wasn’t informed that the consultant was running late. That said, the front desk was very busy, with a steady stream of patients arriving. Having an additional staff member at reception might have helped manage the workload and improved communication with patients.

The staff on Oncology are angels and they are professional, calm, approachable, caring, positive, pragmatic and extremely attentive, supportive and I could not have wished for any other team and individuals to look after me. Every visit is consistently seamless and feels like I am the priority when they are with me, despite having other patients and priorities. I can see and hear they make everyone feel this way! Nothing is too much trouble for them!

Mr Duncan about 6 weeks ago replace my left knee cap my whole experience from start to finish was absolutely fantastic bearing in mind I was extremely worried about the procedure even only after 6 weeks I can walk perfectly well compared with what my knee was pre-operation I could hardly walk I couldn't straighten it even after just 6 Weeks I can do most things I couldn't do before extremely happy and thank you very much Mr Duncan

I appreciate the specialized equipment and expertise (and hence cost) required to perform a visual field test, but I continue to be irritated by the charge (currently £51) for a visual acuity check. Although at Moorfields this is now performed via a computer screen, in essence it is the same as sitting in front of a simple eye chart ... something which is so basic that in an optometrist's setting it attracts no charge at all.

Mr Vaghela was very informative and explained why I was having trouble with my hand. The surgery went well and the issue has been resolved. It has made a very big difference to me. I would highly recommend Mr Vaghela who has an excellent bedside manner. He is a wonderful surgeon that is very trustworthy. Whether you see him on the NHS or privately I believe you will receive the same treatment from him.

I did some research online about using an emsella chair as a preventative method to strengthen my pelvic floor muscles. I have no current incontinence, type issue but it seems sensible to me to be proactive and maintain and improve my pelvic floor strength for long term benefits. I’m very pleased with the results and rate highly the service from the clinic, both prior and during the sessions.

I would like to make mention of the pre-operative theatre experience. The anaetheatist and his ODP colleague were welcoming and made every effort to put me at ease. It was explained that I may hear noises during the surgery and was offered an extra level of anaesthesia which would ensure I would sleep throughout the procedure. Ther was a decernable rapport between the whole team.

My words cannot explain how brilliant mr neffordorf was, throughout the whole process and I cannot rate mr neffordorf enough for everything he has done for me ❤️
