I underwent a total knee replacement at the beginning of October and I cannot thank Mr Gareth Stables enough for the care and reassurance he provided. From the very first consultation, he explained everything clearly and put me at ease. His support continued through every stage—the hospital stay, the operation itself, and the follow-up appointments—making what felt like a daunting journey so much easier to face. I was very nervous about the idea of being awake during the procedure, but thanks to his calm guidance, I felt safe and comfortable throughout. The relief was immediate—the arthritic pain that had troubled me for so long disappeared straight away. The only discomfort was from the operation itself, and even that was manageable with the medication provided. Recovery has been excellent. By following Mr Stables’ advice—taking pain relief as needed, keeping up with the exercises, applying ice, and resting—I’ve been able to heal well and regain confidence in my mobility. I would also like praise all the staff at Spire Cheshire Hospital for caring for me during my stay. They were brilliant!

I recently attended a Preconception Appointment with Mr. Adam Jakes at the clinic. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome from Gemma at reception and Mashal kindly assisted with my pre-appointment obs. The clinic itself is immaculate, modern, and beautifully presented. During the consultation, Dr Adam took the time to thoroughly review my medical history and discuss plans for baby number two. We spoke in detail about my Type 1 diabetes, its potential impact on a future pregnancy, and strategies to optimise blood sugar control beforehand. The appointment never felt rushed; Dr Adam provided clear guidance and even highlighted the progress I’ve made, which was a reassuring confidence boost. I would highly recommend Dr Adam, especially for anyone managing a medical condition. The experience was seamless, and I received comprehensive follow-up notes within just a couple of days.

I recently had my gallbladder removed due to having chronic cholecystitis, and chose to have this done by Professor Rob at the Spire hospital due to his outstanding experience and reviews. This was my first ever procedure/surgery, so I was feeling quite anxious about it. From start to finish, Rob made me feel super comfortable and at ease. He explained my condition thoroughly at the initial assessment; even drew me a lovely diagram! He answered all my questions and reassured me how straight forward it would be. The whole experience was excellent and impressive, including the short stay at the hospital. I told my family/friends, if I had another gallbladder to lose, I would do it all again tomorrow! Dr khan is the most wonderful Dr his treatment of myself and my wife has been exceptional im a very high risk patient and im not a very good patient because of my eating disorder so im often in quite a bad mood but Dr khan always remembers that he always remembers my needle phobia and he manages to keep me calm in these situations in alot of ways I owe my life to Dr khan because without his intervention I wouldn't be able to eat at all I would like to tell whoever will listen how quite brilliant this man is and how eternally greatful I am and proud to have him as my consultant I feel safe in his care

With a history of long term sunbed use and holidays abroad i decided to book an appointment for a skin check. The check was done manually and not a machine like other clinics advertise. The nurse was extremely friendly and I felt comfortable straight away. She conducted the examination and fed back to me on everything she found as she went along. I had a few questions to ask regarding sun exposure and found her very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend the clinic and have gained lots of information I can use for the future.

She is very personable and gave me the opportunity to ask questions. I was very happy with both appointments. Just needed a referral for an overseas routine scan and I achieved what I needed. NHS in their wisdom won't provide scans for those with a strong family history indicator which is fine but utterly absurd not to provide a referral just because a CT machine (superior to most in the UK) is located overseas. These scans can be life savers and it's useful that this provider can fulfil the common sense role that the NHS abdicates responsibility on.
