Engagement with Debbie was great always very timely about providing appointment, arranging surgery, sending out letters etc (I see Debbie as being a key extension of the medical service that you provide) I found all of your consultations to be really thorough and well explained and not rushed. I always felt I had sufficient time for questions to be answered in a thorough way. Your letters also explained things in a thorough way that I could easily understand - thank you for that. A few small builds which hopefully will help you build on an excellent service that you currently provide: 1) at my first (and very thorough consultation) you did not have access to my MRI scan you only had access to the report. I question if you had viewed the scan, ahead of the surgery, would you then have had a better view of the issue - would the surgery have been necessary. Although I do appreciate sometimes the saying is treat the patient and not the scan. So I do accept I may be wrong? 2) a minor point your clinics ALWAYS run extremely late. I wonder if appointments should either be extended (as you provide a very thorugh service). Although I suspect the hospitals only allow you so many mins per patient? If that is the case could you consider seeing less patients. I (and I suspect others too) have a really busy job and I found this a little fustrating.

This was my first colonoscopy procedure so I didn’t know what to expect and was quite anxious. Looking at the patient reviews on this site beforehand really helped me so I wanted to add my own comments here as well. The 2 day preparation for my late afternoon procedure (fasting and drinking the cleansing medication) was actually the worst part, however I followed the instructions and kept myself very hydrated throughout, that along with a couple of boiled sweets in the last couple of hours to stop the hunger pangs really helped. The clinic staff were all really friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived and talked me through the process throughout so I knew what to expect. I had sedation for the procedure itself which was completely painless, and I got the results quickly. At all times my wellbeing was prioritised by the staff, with 1 to 1 nursing and a very welcome drink and biscuit afterwards. Special thanks from me to Roberta and Dr Khan, and my aftercare nurse whose name I forgot (sorry!)

Made typos on my medical documents several times regardless of me flagging they require updates Can’t schedule simple appointment times and check with people if they are available instead sending random meeting times which clash with my work On 3 occasions now I have tried to join a meeting to have no one there Even if I am having problems connecting and 2 mins late someone should be in the allocated slot waiting especially given the people you are meeting with are disabled All this titration has done is add extra stress to my life instead of helping anything I am now going through medication withdrawals because I have been unable to meet in my titration meetings regales of me flagging several times that these timings do not work with my work commitments and now I have extra stress and pressure on my life at an extremely stressful time Would not recommend this to anyone it’s taken me a whole year since my diagnosis to even get to this point and I am still being messed around

I had a really positive experience at The Harborne Hospital. I was greeted warmly on arrival and was actually seen before my appointment time, which was very much appreciated. My consultant Mr Leung truly listened to me and took the time to understand the full picture of how I’ve been feeling. He was extremely thorough, and for the first time in a long while, I left feeling hopeful — hopeful not only that my pain can be better managed, but also that I may finally get a clear diagnosis of what is actually happening to me. I really appreciated how carefully and thoughtfully everything was explored. Every member of staff I met was kind, professional, and supportive. The level of care and compassion shown throughout my visit was outstanding. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this service.

Meeting Mr. Wevill was a completely different experience—he put me at ease right away and made the whole process feel comfortable and stress-free. I decided to have both lenses replaced with prescription lenses, and honestly, the procedure was quick, simple, and far less daunting than I imagined. I think the Doctors Lounge is such a great personal investment. You are able to see a doctor quickly, they have all your notes in front of them and have excellent referal doctors should you need further support. I cannot recomend Dr. Nik Chopra and his team more highly. It also means you take pressure off your local GP who can then spend their time with patients who need to use the NHS service. Think outstanding service and value for money.

I had paid £250 to see Mr Lau for the same consultation as I had on 7th January, meaning that I am no further along the path of accessing the treatment I’ve waited 21 months for. I am grateful, however, that I’m accessing private services via the NHS

I have done what was recommended and after months of suffering and taking antibiotics which were not he!lping, my symptoms have been completely eradicated!! I would not hesitate to see Mr Bhatura if need be and I would definitely send anyone who needed a urologist to Mr Bhaktura.
