I had my varicose vein scan with Louis and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the start, he made me feel relaxed, comfortable, and confident that I was being properly looked after. Louis explained everything in a really easy-to-understand way and talked me through the scan as it was happening, which helped put me completely at ease. The ultrasound was very thorough, and it was clear he really knows what he’s doing, nothing felt rushed, and he took his time to check everything properly. What I appreciated most was how calm and reassuring Louis was throughout the appointment. He made sure I understood what was going on, what the scan showed, and what the next steps might be, without using complicated medical language or making it feel overwhelming. The whole appointment felt professional but friendly, and I left feeling informed, reassured, and confident in the advice I was given. My visit with Mr Treharne was truly impactful. After many years I have finally got a diagnosis and future treatment is pending. He was able to signpost me to the next steps I need to take. For the first time in years, I can see a little light at the end of a tunnel. Which will not only help me physically but will also help my emotional health. Welcoming and helpful. Only one lift was working and the remaining one was noisy and slow but there was a notice advising of this. The coffee machine in wait area was out of order Reception staff were kind and helpful but sometimes difficult to understand accent. One set of chairs in a sub waiting area was under a shelf which meant I knocked my head. Appeared clean and efficient and was quiet on day of my visit. Preoperative bloods were done straight after consultation which is very good and in fact results appeared next day. That's good service. Overall allowing for things that happen a positive experience.

Went in for a endometrial ablation, was signed in quickly and was kept informed about what was going on and what to expect, during the procedure the nurses and the patient advocate Suki did a great job at distracting me and reminding me to breathe and relax my muscles, Mr Biswas kept me informed of what he was doing throughout the procedure and kept asking me where my pain level was, which was reassuring as I was quite anxious, had some time after to make sure I was fine, had a hot chocolate and some biscuits, then went home.

I first saw Mr Wadhwa on the 3 November 2025 where an Epididymal cyst was diagnosed. Had scans on the 6th, pre surgery visit on 20th and surgery on the 26th. Cyst of 9cm long removed, a 'block' inserted and no pain has occurred post surgery after following the meds regime I was given. Back swimming after 3 weeks. The staff and Mr Wadhwa kept me informed at all times, the facilities were superb and on the day of my surgery I was operated on at 1pm and home for 6.30pm. I would recommend Mr Wadhwa to all based on my experience.

Staff at the practice seem to be unable to distinguish between NHS patients a d those who Are private and paying. Twice i was sent to the wrong waiting area with NHS patients. Only to be later sent to the private waiting area. As a paying patient i expect a certain level of compitance and care. So come on Barlborough, a little bit of interest in your role might help
