I was very nervous about the coil fit, as I don't have children and knew that could mean more pain. The experience was very positive, there was some pain, but for less time than expected. It was a very good idea to have someone drive me home. This was recommended, and just as well because I got very faint on the way home.

I have had various symptoms of perimenopause over the last year or so but it came to a head a few months ago when i had a severe panic attack and seemed to develop anxiety. I am finding this difficult to cope with and the GP didn't seem to help me. I met with Dr Colquhoun and she was lovely, provided me with alot of information and advice and took me and my symptoms seriously. As a result I now have a course of action and have had HRT prescribed and a coil fitted. Whilst this is all new to me, i am feeling very positive about this plan and hopeful that I can start to feel like myself again!
