Dr. Aarti Daryanani

Dr Aarti Daryanani is an experienced General Practitioner with a specialist focus on women’s health, contraception and menopause care. Originally from the island of Curaçao, she moved to Scotland in 2006 to complete her GP training in Tayside and has since made Scotland her home. She gained postgraduate qualifications in Sexual and Reproductive Health in 2009 and became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2011.

Dr Daryanani has worked across general practices in Tayside and Fife, including providing care within Out of Hours services in Perth. Since 2012, she has combined her GP role with a position in the NHS Fife Sexual and Reproductive Health Service, delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care to women at all stages of life.

Her clinical expertise includes contraceptive advice in perimenopause, menopause and perimenopause consultations, hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and non-hormonal treatment options, management of vaginal atrophy, and testosterone therapy for low libido in menopause. She is fully accredited to provide contraceptive implants, including Nexplanon, and intrauterine devices such as Mirena, Kyleena and copper coils, including complex coil procedures.

Dr Daryanani holds the Advanced Menopause Certificate from the British Menopause Society and offers personalised, evidence-based menopause care tailored to each individual’s needs. She is passionate about education and training, serving as a registered trainer for the British Menopause Society’s Advanced Menopause Certificate and as a Faculty Trainer in Sexual and Reproductive Health.
