Newmedica Leeds. 5* Care from start to finish. My optician at Specsavers suggested it was time to consider cataract surgery and I was offered an NHS referral to my choice of providers. I chose Newmedica Leeds and just over 2-3 weeks later had an initial consultation at Newmedica. Unfortunately my high blood pressure caused some problems and delayed the first cataract operation to my left eye, after 4-5 weeks weeks I had surgery on my first eye and 5-6 weeks later my second eye was done. Without exception all of the staff I met at Newmedica were friendly, helpful, and very caring. The consultant who carried out the procedure on both eyes (Mr. Kamran Khan) took the time to explain the procedure and answer my questions. During the procedures he was reassuring and calmly explained what was happening. Both procedures were carried out successfully and my sight is so much better now. I would like to give a big thank you to Mr Kamran Khan and his team and my Optometrist Summer Elyoussfi and her team for all the care and attention I received. I have no hesitation in recommending Newmedica Leeds.

I have seen Dr Alexandra Pittock a handful of times via video appointments and twice in person while going through my ADHD consultations and titration onto Elvanse. The care and support I have received from her has genuinely been life changing. Dr Pittock has helped me understand my ADHD in a way that has completely changed how I approach my life. After many years of struggling to make sense of certain challenges, she has given me clarity, reassurance and practical guidance that has made a real difference to my day-to-day life. Starting treatment under her guidance has been a very positive experience, and I now feel like I am looking forward rather than constantly looking back. She is warm, kind and very easy to talk to, which immediately puts you at ease. At the same time, she is clearly extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful in her approach. I always feel listened to during appointments, never rushed, and fully supported in decisions about my treatment. My first appointment was arranged within a week. After my appointment I was offered surgery in exactly one more week. Everything was great, lovely facilities, lovely staff. Everyone was very friendly and constantly being offered coffee etc. On every occasion I was taken either on time or early. I was put at ease and everything was fully explained and what the best lenses for me would be, based on my history and interests. On the day of surgery, everything went fine and there was no pain whatsoever, merely a strange feeling as the surgeon did his stuff. Afterwards I was given advice re eye drops and aftercare and again all great. Everything was fine when I got home, merely discomfort and that soon passed. I had plenty of people checking and following up that all was well. Finally, I had a follow up visit after a few weeks and again everything was great and very professional and I was advised to see my optician and GP. Throughout my time, the service I received was first class.

Mr Casula performed my minimally invasive mitral valve repair surgery in January. He is an extremely experienced and expert surgeon, based on my positive experience of the process to date, from our first meeting, the surgery itself and my recovery so far. Everything proceeded entirely accordingly to the clear and calm explanations he provided, and better than my own expectations. My family and friends could not believe how well I felt, looked and sounded even one day post surgery. I feel blessed to have been under the care of such an amazing surgeon who I thoroughly recommend for his surgical skill and the humble manner in which he delivers it. I’m being treated by Naomi Murray, who closely follows the latest international research on Achilles injuries, which is very reassuring. The rehab plan has always been clear, progress has been excellent, and follow-up is very responsive whenever I have questions. Her patients’ recovery and long-term outcomes are clearly a genuine priority for her. The facilities at the Lansdowne Club are also outstanding and make a real difference to the quality of the rehabilitation. I would definitely recommend Physio Remedies.

Mr Dudderidge explained very clearly the options available to me with my 2 separate cancer spots in my Prostate, using Nanoknife on one, and Hyfu on the other, due to there location in the prostate. Unfortunately this would have involved a delay between procedures to allow for recovery. Ultimately I elected to have a different treatment performed by others, but would certainly recommend Mr Dudderige for his analysis, professionalism, communication, honesty and empathy.

This was an excellent experience from the moment that I entered the building. Reception and admin staff were efficient, helpful and friendly, both at the entrance level and then later at the consulting rooms. The premises were uncluttered and immaculate. Diagnostic equipment was first-class. The consultant was excellent, approachable and understanding and explaining everything clearly.

The doctor was 8 mins late *(with no apology for the late running( and them seemed to have a different idea of why i was there to me - he thought he was just assessing skin tags rather than removing - and then said he didnt have time to remove them - yet he was the one running late. I will come for the follow up but after that will never use this practice again.

Dr Jacques is amazing. She is so friendly and makes you feel at ease straight away. She has great knowledge about the menopause and explores all the options to make sure she finds the perfect solution. For me she has changed my life considerably, I feel so much better in myself and I personally couldn’t have asked for a better service. Would highly recommend.
