I was struggling to get a face to face appoinment with my NHS GP. Filling out their triage forms where tick boxes didn’t cover half my symptoms and not enough room in the comments to describe my issues and concerns was getting me nowhere. So I decided to go private. Daleswood was recommended to me by a friend. I was happy to pay for a 30min consultation where I could go through the history and symptoms I was experiencing. It was well worth it, blood tests were recommended and a diagnosis made that explained all the symptoms not just one or two. I was so relieved to finally have been listened to and believed. Not just told ‘we only deal with one thing at a time’

I cannot rate my experience highly enough. Mr. Thakur and Dr. Richard the anesthetist were extremely professional and supportive and took time to clearly explain the procedure and process and answer all of my questions. The nursing staff, Steph, Brian, Natalie and Til were fantastic looking after me post op and were very friendly and supportive. The pharmacy team took great care in explaining my medication and advising on the pain relief regime to follow. Gary from the Physio team was great at explaining the rehab exercises and putting me through my paces to make sure I started my recovery in the best way. A great team, please pass on my thanks.

I had an excellent experience at Reproclinic. I flew in from Canada for treatment, and the team went above and beyond to make sure everything was completed within the limited time I had in Barcelona. My doctor, Dr. Moreno, was absolutely amazing—knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire process. My medical assistant, Manon, was also wonderful. She was very responsive to all my emails and inquiries and made me feel supported every step of the way. This diagnosis opened up the right treatment avenues and made a huge difference for us. She was compassionate, patient, and even gave my son thoughtful gifts to encourage him. The Spire has excellent facilities (car parking, waiting area, consulting rooms etc) and the reception staff are very attentive and helpful. The “formal check in” using an iPad is an unnecessary hurdle for patients to negotiate. The earlier system of just checking in with the receptionist was much better. My appointment with Dr. Balerdi was on time and a very useful session. Re. Dr. Balerdi himself, my very postive comments are in an earlier section.

Very good experience, even though team are dealing with diagnoses of cancer. I would like to thank the Breast care team and radiographers for their professionalism, especially on my first appointment, when I had been called back after a routine mammogram, and was totally unprepared for the biopsies, and was feeling shell shocked, that it might be cancer. I am grateful that due to the screening, my cancer has been found and removed.

At the pre op assessment, Staff explained the procedure clearly and on the days of the operations I was informed of all different elements of the operation.
