GenesisCare outpatients centre in Nottingham is located in the grounds of BMI The Park Hospital, enabling use of diagnostic facilities and the ability to start treatment within days after diagnosis. Radiotherapy is provided on site along with advanced techniques including those for difficult-to-reach tumours.
GenesisCare Nottingham provides patients with a wide range of options, with 14 centres in the UK, patients can be referred to other centres for more specialist treatment such as MRI-guided radiotherapy for difficult-to-treat tumours, stereotactic radiosurgery for small brain tumours and Theranostics – an innovative therapy for certain cancers when other treatment options aren't suitable or have not been successful. This means that patients are given personalised care from the moment they are diagnosed.
GenesisCare works hard to create a holistic care plan for patients, treating their cancer but also prioritises emotional wellbeing, working with Penny Brohn UK for all patients undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy as part of their care plan.

I was anxious and didn't know what to expect during my SABR treatment for Prostate Cancer, but during the Planning Scans, it was explained to me what would happen and how to prepare for the treatments. Every stage was well organised, professional, and caring. A dedicated team looked after me very well. The car organised by Genesis picked me up for my appointments, with the same driver each time, making me feel at ease. The treatment sessions were comfortable throughout.
