Dr. Chun Tang

Dr Chun Tang is a GMC-registered General Practitioner who qualified as a doctor in 1999 and has practised as a GP since 2003 — over 20 years in general practice and more than 25 years in medicine overall, across both NHS and private settings. His expertise spans acute and chronic disease management, emergency medicine, paediatrics,obstetrics and gynaecology, geriatric medicine and surgery, alongside a strong focus on early disease detection and preventative healthcare.

A University of Manchester graduate (MBChB) and Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, Dr Tang is known for his compassionate, patient-centred approach and for making advanced diagnostics more accessible. He is Medical Director of Biox Medical Ltd — the UK distributor of the ColoAlert® bowel cancer screening
test — a focus driven by a personal commitment following the loss of his father to bowel cancer. He also works at Pallmall Medical as a GP and is a Clinical Director of medical services. He is also the founder of Little Ox, a doctor-designed wellness supplement brand, and a co-founder and Medical Director of Northwest Health, a private GP, physiotherapy and diagnostics clinic in Preston.

Dr Tang also provides medically supervised weight-management consultations, with eligibility assessment, monitoring and ongoing clinical oversight, and is a registered
prescriber with MedExpress, a CQC-regulated online pharmacy. He has contributed health commentary to national television and press, including the BBC, GB News
and The Daily Telegraph, and is committed to medical education and to helping
people live healthier lives through informed, preventative care.

Weight Management

Dr Tang offers a clinically led weight-management service. Every patient receives an
individual consultation and clinical assessment to determine whether treatment
is appropriate, followed by ongoing monitoring and review. Care is provided in
line with professional and regulatory standards, with the patient's safety and
suitability assessed at every stage rather than treatment being offered as a
default.
