I was treated like a king. Everything that could possibly was done for me. The doctors keeping such a close watch over me after surgery. The surgery was done by Dr. Ruebendra Jaganathan who I would say is one of the best surgeon in the world. His team of totally professionals were amazing caring and compassionate human beings as was the nurses. The food from the kitchen was so delicious and shall I not forget the physio team who were so caring and helped me so much. I was amazed that such care exists. I trusted them all because of the way they made me feel safe and in good hands at a very worrying time in my life. The cleanliness of the hospital was also beyond anything that I have ever seen. I recently took my 3-year-old to Kidswell when he was feeling unwell, and we had an excellent experience from start to finish. We were able to get a same-day appointment, which was excellent. The reception staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful. The facilities are clearly designed with kids and their parents in mind—bright, comfortable, and reassuring. The doctor who saw us was efficient, thorough, and great with my son, taking the time to make sure we understood everything. The rooms were spotless and well-organized, which added to the sense of calm during a stressful moment. Overall, a very positive and reassuring experience. Highly recommend this clinic for anyone seeking quality care for their children

Nobody knew how I would receive the X Ray results. The radiologist asked if I was seeing a consultant at the clinic - I wasn’t scheduled to see one. The guy on the first floor desk didn’t know how images could be shared with me and suggested I talk to the reception desk on the ground floor to get a CD burnt - I wanted images to be sent as I don’t have a CD reader. The ground floor desk confused too until a senior person stepped in to let me know about the app. I was told that I would receive images via the app but I cannot see appointments or images in the app. The experience was very confusing. Suggest more staff training on the app

Having not been inside a private hospital in a long time, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The Spencer is not luxurious in any way and there are no nods to suggest that you are in private hospital compared to run of the mill NHS establishments (I think many including me, have forgotten just how ropey most NHS hospitals were in comparison). It is however, a more relaxed environment and on a much smaller scale. Attention from staff was great and the treatment (so far anyway!) seems top notch in terms of highly expert consultations. It’s too soon to tell how effective my treatment is, but I feel im in good, safe hands.

All staff, including the doctor we saw, we're very friendly, made us feel at ease, and the procedure appears to have been carried out smoothly. The only thing I'd fault is the communication before the appointment, particularly the emails. They include a misleading price, the suggestion that a follow-up would not be required (when we understand that is completely normal) and we'd understood that we could/should be in the room when the procedure was taking place, which was then quite strongly advised against.

I had bilateral lens replacements last Thursday (27/11/2025) and the team could not have been more careful if they tried. The surgeon, Mr Puri, was excellent. My eyes are recovering really well with no problems., this was confirmed by my first post-op check-up today - a bit earlier than usual because of planned plane flights. Assess,et and post-op Sheffield, surgery in Newark. Staff in both locations are wonderful.
