This was my first colonoscopy procedure so I didn’t know what to expect and was quite anxious. Looking at the patient reviews on this site beforehand really helped me so I wanted to add my own comments here as well. The 2 day preparation for my late afternoon procedure (fasting and drinking the cleansing medication) was actually the worst part, however I followed the instructions and kept myself very hydrated throughout, that along with a couple of boiled sweets in the last couple of hours to stop the hunger pangs really helped. The clinic staff were all really friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived and talked me through the process throughout so I knew what to expect. I had sedation for the procedure itself which was completely painless, and I got the results quickly. At all times my wellbeing was prioritised by the staff, with 1 to 1 nursing and a very welcome drink and biscuit afterwards. Special thanks from me to Roberta and Dr Khan, and my aftercare nurse whose name I forgot (sorry!)

Mr James Langdon

I had a very positive experience with Mr Langdon. During the initial consultation he explained my MRI to me thoroughly and even recorded a voice over which he sent to me. His manner was most appropriate, I felt validated and understood at all times, which really gave me confidence in his advice. I had a nerve root block, followed by surgery some months later. Mr Langdon visited me at least 3 times whilst I was an inpatient, which supported the overall feeling of genuine care. I'm now 4 weeks post-op and am very pleased with the results of surgery and aftercare. His PA Clare is also an excellent communicator and nothing is too much trouble.

I had a check up and cleaning from the dentist Sonia. What a marvellous professional and friendly person. I am extremely nervous at dentist but Sonoa went above a beyond to make me at easy. She transmitted me calm and I'd never ever thought to feel calm at the dentist. I only hope she will not leave as well. I am so tired of OSD turnover of staff it's very stressful for me getting used to someone and than change it. Sonia is precious if I was OSD boss I'd do whatever I can to keep this kind of empathetic professional with me. Doc Sonia thank you from the bottom of my heart to make me feel special. As I said it was brilliant in regards to how I was treated. It was so straight forward, I laughed, I relaxed I was treated like I was the only person who has ever suffered which I think is amazing for how many people do suffer, worse than me. I was here for six weeks and the intensive therapy schedule has been extremely beneficial for me. Family therapy was helpful and I'm working hard to mend the relationships in my family. Mr Skyrme is very friendly and put me at ease at my first consultation. He explained what was wrong and how it could be fixed with surgery. Having now had the surgery, I am very impressed with the rate at which I have healed and the absence of the pain I had before. I am also surprised at the relatively small incision…..only 4.5 inches long and as I had no stitches, it is just a smooth line which will fade in time.

Dr Bakshi - THANK YOU!!! I read the other reviews and wondered if the clinic's reputation was too good to be true. I have been on NHS waiting lists for years and they have misdiagnosed me and fobbed me off with cheap options.
