I have been a patient since 2022 and always receive the best care from Dr. Sarkeel and the team at Living Mind. I have been diagnosed with resistant depression disorder and generalised anxiety disorder and had a recent dip on my mental health and requested urgent treatment. Dr. Sarkeel immediately moved my appointment to accommodate my needs to ensure that I had the appropriate care. Not only by being caring and treatment me with the upmost respect, but also by being one of my biggest cheerleaders and celebrating every milestone that achieve. This makes a huge difference finding the right level of support. You need to feel in a safe environment where you can open up as well as feel empowered - that's what you will find at Living Mind. The right balance so you can recover, build your resilience and if something goes wrong you have the right non judgmental environment to keep going, as this a normal part of the journey. I've given this a 4 star rating because only sheer perfection would get 5. I saw Mr BOSCO on the 3rd. March when he carefully explained my condition and options. He clearly knew wha he was talking about and made it all clear to me what he considered my only option was. My only major complaint is the time it took to do the procedure. I had been offered a date in May which I was unable to take due to being abroad. The next date was fixed for June, but was cancelled by the hospital at very short notice. I then had to wait till October for the operation. This was when I saw Dr. VOLPE who would bedding the operation. I saw Mr.BOSCO I think for the 2 to 3 days I was in the High Dependency ward and he was cheerful and told me how I was doing. Aside from this I have no recollection of seeing him again and was discharged on the 8th October. Overall I had limited dealings with Mr BOSCO, but was happy yo have him as surgeon.

Dr Antonis Pavlidis

Dr Pavlidis is exceptional whom I would highly recommended. He is very knowledgeable and very skillful surgeon. When I had some tricky scenarios throughout the year and no Doctor could provide constructive feedback, Dr. Pavlidis could advise detail checking to be performed and diagnoised with detail investigation. He listened to patient's concern, provided a very customised solution and suggestion pre/post the procedure (angiogram). Dr. Pavlidis provided the decision which is best for patient and explained clearly what is the treatment and concern area. He is very willing to spend time with patient that make patient feeling very caring and feeling comfortable and confidence in the procedure and treatment to be treated. On top of that, Korina - the secretary of Dr. Pavlidis is very responsive and helpful as well which made the whole consultation process went smoothly.

Dr. Arun Rajendran

I went into The London Clinic for a Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy under general anaesthetic. I was quite anxious when I first arrived in the theatre ward as I had a migraine and also had to walk a long way and ascend a busy lift from my room to the theatre on the other side of the hospital and I had been fasting for 24 hours at that point. Dr Rajendran visited me before the anaesthetic and he was very patient and kind and spent a lot of time with me explaining what to expect, he made me feel calm and relaxed. After the procedure he visited me once I had woken up and explained what he had found. I then had a follow-up telephone call with him a few days later where he was again very patient and able to explain everything to me in great detail. It is very much appreciated. Thank you.

I loved the day staff. Ikram and Sennecca treated me with such kindness and so much support. I unfortunately was discharged after a week as I have other issues that need addressing before I am able to continue the treatment. The night staff in my experience have not been very attentive to my distress. As nights are the hardest time for me this was quite a big issue for me. Dr Veale is great and really knows what he is talking about. The rooms feel like a hotel and the program is scary but excellent here. Food is another issue for me and the kitchen are very accommodating to needs but the general menu is very eclectic. Overall I would say this is a very good hospital and I've seen patients with real change here.

Very Pleased with the clarity of my vision after wearing Glasses, I had the Galaxy lense fitted and I now have full contrast and colour definition. I had my procedure done at Freedom Chelmsford. The team there were absolutely brilliant,friendly, professional. The procedure was very quick and painless. I could see the improvement immediately . It took a few days for my eyes to adjust as my prescription was very strong and complicated, (lazy left eye.) The hospital is modern ,spotless with excellent facilities and easy access plenty of parking and train. Special Thankyou to Nicola who coordinated everything from start to finish.

Mr Samsudin is a fantastic Urologist and I can whole heartedly recommend him after my very positive experience with him. He is a really kind, empathic man and a true professional; not once did I feel rushed and he understood exactly what I was going through and how to help. I had a suspected kidney stone after suffering intense pain in my back, and Mr Samsudin was able to diagnose this correctly within minutes of meeting me. He helped me to easily understand my options for treatment and after initially trying medication I then opted for a surgical procedure. The surgery was a 100% success and the whole process top class.

Mr Wong is an excellent gynaecologist. He listens, asks the right questions, and explains every step in clear language. You feel comfortable the moment you walk in because he treats you with respect and patience. He does not rush you. He checks that you understand your options. He makes difficult appointments feel manageable. My visits with other gynaecologists felt stressful, but he changed that for me. I trust his care and recommend him to anyone who wants a calm and supportive experience

Thoroughly impressed with The Harborne Hospital. The moment you walk in you know you’ve entered a place that really cares. Ultra clean, comfortable and welcoming. Every member of staff had a smile on their faces. As a designer I pay attention to detail and hats off to the person who decided to place Temple Spa scents in the waiting area. Made feel like I was in a 5 star hotel. Such a lovely and pleasant atmosphere. Totally forgot I was in a hospital.

From the initial letter asking for my consent to go outside BCHB, I was seen promptly by the staff & Jennifer in Chester. Once I was examined & my details were in, I was seem for my pre op & surgery was arranged for a month or so later, which was excellent & I couldn't fault the whole experience.

Professor Dhanwant Gomez

General Surgeon

Professor Gomez was decisive in his diagnosis of my condition. He was honest but clear and helpful about the extent of my hernia and the need for open surgery under general anaesthetic. He carefully explained the risks and future prognosis after repair. He gave me confidence that he was the right consultant and surgeon for me. His letter to my GP was an exemplary explanation of the consultation.

Dr Brown is excellent at pain management using acupuncture. He provides a holistic approach to manage pain with detailed assessment and pain free acupuncture . Great he showed me how to self needle in feet reducing the time to see him face to face . He is supported by a strong admin team for booking appointments. A very happy patient.

He went through everything I would expect and within a few few moments., I was spoken to by the consultant who would administer the anaesthetic and the consultant himself ….who could wish for better treatment
