I had an incredibly positive experience at Delamere and I’m very grateful for my time there which has been transformative. The programme is extremely well structured and thoughtfully designed - a really well-rounded mix of therapy, group work, education and peer support. The staff are kind, dedicated and create a safe, supportive environment where real change feels possible. I want to give special thanks to Mark, my therapist, and Gary, my mentor. Their honesty and approach made a huge difference to my recovery. I felt seen, challenged in the right ways, and supported to build real clarity and confidence. I made meaningful progress and left feeling stronger, clearer and had regained hope for the future. The only area I feel could be improved is the level of psychiatric support. During my stay, patients were offered one 15-minute appointment with the psychiatrist, which felt brief especially for those with more complex mental health needs. I would have valued more collaboration and communication around medication decisions. Strengthening this aspect of care would make an already excellent programme even better. Overall, I’m extremely thankful for my time at Delamere and would definitely recommend the centre to others seeking recovery support.

I have been treated by Dr Khan on several occasions, and each time he demonstrated a strong ability to diagnose complex medical problems accurately and efficiently, particularly where previous consultations with other specialists had not provided clarity. His clinical judgment inspires confidence, and his approach is consistently calm, structured, and thoughtful. What sets Dr Khan apart is the way he explains each step of the process. He clearly outlines both the diagnosis and the reasoning behind the treatment plan, using language that is straightforward and accessible to non-medical patients - and creates space for questions that he answers clearly and without rushing. Follow-up care is equally impressive. Dr Khan is attentive, responsive, and provides continuity and reassurance beyond the initial consultation. The communication from Skylignt is poor. My final report stated I did not complete 2 of the questionnaires, which I did, as I saved copies of my answers in case technology failed. Nobody chased these missing questionnaires and the response time when I did contact the admin team was 15 working days each time. All of the timescales I was told from start to finish were very inaccurate. Some of these timescales are still on the website. From referral to acknowledgement I was informed 6-8 weeks and it was 9 weeks. From acknowledgement/forms to initial appointment I was informed 8-12 weeks and waited 16 weeks. From assessment to report I was told 8-10 weeks and it was 14 weeks. I have been told 9 months from October until medication titration, but I can’t trust that this timescale is accurate. The staff are very friendly and helpful and brilliant when you do have an interaction with them, but the volume of work must be beyond current capacity to provide such inaccurate information to patients who are seeking support/diagnosis for a condition that requires accuracy and creates a high level of anxiety.

I was extremely happy with the hospital and the level of care I received. From the moment I arrived, all of the nurses and staff were kind, professional, and incredibly attentive. I felt genuinely well looked after at every stage before and after surgery. The nursing team made me feel comfortable, reassured, and supported, always checking in on me and making sure I had everything I needed. Their calm and caring approach made a big difference and helped me feel at ease throughout my stay. The hospital environment was clean, well organised, and very reassuring, and the overall standard of care was excellent. I am truly grateful to the entire team and would highly recommend this hospital to anyone undergoing treatment or surgery.

I recently had a HoLEP procedure under the care of Mr Tev Aho. He is an excellent clinician - and I highly recommend him to anyone experiencing symptoms from prostatic hypertrophy. I found his assessment of my problem to be very thorough and thoughtful. I had great confidence in his skill to address my problem. I have had a very positive outcome. The operation has resolved all my urological symptoms. The recovery took a couple of weeks and was entirely in line with the detailed/helpful information I recieved before hand. Thank you.

Mr Tim Dudderidge

Mr Dudderidge explained very clearly the options available to me with my 2 separate cancer spots in my Prostate, using Nanoknife on one, and Hyfu on the other, due to there location in the prostate. Unfortunately this would have involved a delay between procedures to allow for recovery. Ultimately I elected to have a different treatment performed by others, but would certainly recommend Mr Dudderige for his analysis, professionalism, communication, honesty and empathy.

I visited the clinic to discuss removal of a lesion on my eyelid. Having spoken to the consultant Mt Murray I decided to have it removed. I returned two weeks later to have the surgery. All the staff were very supportive and took time to explain the whole procedure to me. In particular Jenny took great care of me and made sure I felt as relaxed as I could be. Everything went to plan and I would like to thank everybody that was involved.

I was referred by my Opticians to have Cataract surgery as my vision, especially at night, was deteriorating. I was given a choice of Consultants by my Medical Insurers and after reviewing them on line chose Mr Elghalhud. I was referred prof. Branley for possible sleeping disorders. Prod Branley walked me through all the aspect of what could be the reasons for my issue. He also asked a lot of questions about myself and my daily routine to get a full medical profile. He explained certain terminology and made some suggestions. I definitely would recommend him if you may have sleep disorders.

I have only asked yesterday whether there is anyone else Dr Ang can recommend as the first appointment i can get to see Professor Patel is not until 30th March. If that timeline is ok i will leave.
