I am currently under the care of Prof Greg Shaw after being diagnosed with prostate cancer in May of this year (2025) Prof Shaw and team continue to provide excellent medical attention throughout. From initial consultations and discovery through to MRI, biopsy, and robotic surgery, the entire process was managed with professionalism, clarity, and compassion. The road ahead was discussed in detail over several consultations with different treatment options presented., Prof Shaw explained each of the different treatments and likely success rates, which ultimately was the driver for my decision to have surgery. Professor Shaw’s bedside manner is calm, reassuring, and deeply respectful qualities that were especially appreciated.. His surgical skill and precision were evident post operation, and I felt confident and safe in his care. I would also like to mention Dr Maria Chazapis, consultant anaesthetist, whose calm presence and clear communication helped ease my nerves before surgery. Her excellent bedside manner, combined with her ability to explain the procedure and ensure my comfort, made a significant difference to my experience. Katrina O’Toole, Professor Shaw’s PA, was exceptional in coordinating appointments and keeping me informed throughout the process. Her responsiveness and attention to detail ensured that everything ran smoothly, and she is a vital point of contact during a complex and emotionally time. In particular, Sister Vicky Clarete deserves special recognition for the post Op removal of my catheter. Her bedside manner and skill were exceptional; I felt at ease with her immediately, and she handled the procedure with great dignity and compassion, respect and calm. Vicky is a credit to Professor Shaw’s team.. Overall, this experience reflects a gold standard in healthcare where clinical leadership sets the tone for excellence, coordinated support teams ensure seamless delivery and patient-centred care.10/10

Without your exceptional skills and experience in this area, I would be in a different place. From initial discussion to surgery, as a colleague surgeon, you immediately inspired me with so much confidence in your ability. Thank you for your expeditious and gracious acceptance of me as your patient. You are the only one who knows how to do this surgery magnificently, on the beating heart and through such a small incision that my recovery has been very smooth, and to being discharged on Day 4. I came to Emilie’s clinic to prepare for surgery and to get help with some ongoing gut health issues. Thanks to her support and guidance, my recovery went really smoothly. She also adjusted her recommendations afterwards to make sure I stayed on track. During the treatment, I ended up with some unrelated muscular discomfort, and Emilie was kind enough to in one of our sessions, offer advice that helped ease that too. One of the biggest things I’ve taken away from working with her is discovering the low FODMAP approach. It’s made a huge difference to my gut health, and the recipes she shared are now household favourites, they’re simple, tasty, and everyone enjoys them. I am delighted with the whole experience around my journey from initial referral to Mr. Nair through the HoLep procedure and stay at the London Bridge Hospital and follow-up. I have been treated with courtesy and kindness . The process of pre-surgery checks and appointments has been efficient, well-communicated and all points of contact both friendly and helpful. Mr. Nair has been kind, reassuring and very clear in his descriptions of the various procedures open to me and the pros and cons of each. My stay in hospital was a pleasant as these things can be. I was treated with care and kindness by everyone. The procedure appears to have gone very well and I am making a very good recovery. Exceeding all expectations. I am very grateful indeed.

I’d been back and forth to doctors about stomach problems — pain, bloating, runs — you name it, nothing fixed it, just kept getting fobbed off. I got dead frustrated, so paid private and ended up with Dr Mahesh after a pal recommended him. He’s proper nice, not stuck up like some specialists, and talks in plain English, not all medical mumbo-jumbo. Asked loads about what I thought, not just what’s in the notes, makes you feel heard. He sent me for some tests, even checked in to see how I was doing after, which I weren’t expecting at all! Sorted my treatment, feel loads better these days. Crackin’ communication — wish all doctors was like him. Defo would recommend!

I came to review my HRT witha 'menopause expert' and that is not what I experienced. Although the doctor was a nice person, he seemed very inexperienced with the menopause, and actually disagreed with the fact I had been taken off testosterone by one of your doctors. He had never heard of androfeme, and actaully asked me what I thought should happen. I pay a lot of money to come to your clinic, and I expect to see a doctor that is very knowledgeable in this area when I am paying privately. I am very disappointed, and don't have much faith in the advice I was given. I did not see any of the doctors onthe following page, it was Stephen Banham.

I came to Tanvi about a month ago with wisdom tooth pain and Tanvi suggested to have them out before I spend a few months away from the UK. We got booked in and I was slightly nervous but Tanvi explained the whole process in how the sedation would go, to put my mind at ease and come to the appointment understanding what was going to happen. When my sedation date came, I walked into the dentist I was greeted by Tanvi and calmly started the process to remove my 2 teeth. Very quick process and happy with how it has all turned out. Currently a week into recovery and feeling good and happy with the experience.

Dr Ricardo Jose was exactly the right person for me to see and oversee care for my chronic wet cough. He was reassuring and knowledgeable and put me at ease throughout the consultation, as well as explaining things clearly and answering any questions I had. Dr Abraham is always absolutely fantastic. He is so lovely and patient with my 6 year old daughter and makes her feel at ease. Visited your clinic yesterday. Arrived about 10mins late (appointment was 2.30pm), rang to warn, telephone reply was calm and reassuring, Young lady in the clinic was very polite and friendly. Sorted the problem in about 10mins, everything calm and relaxed. Left ear-piece, the transparent part, was identified as faulty and needed to be posted off to Oticon, return expected in about a week's time. Reception and treatment faultless and very much appreciated.

First impression as we entered the hospital was WOW!! Beautiful hospital and spotlessly clean, nicely decorated. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were shown where the coffee machine was as we had arrived early. The consultant we saw was excellent!! Very friendly and explained everything to us clearly. We walked out feeling relieved and positive.
