I was overwhelmed a few days later when I phoned to ask if I could do anything to chase up the X-ray, as I was more than eager to be offered a date for the operation, and your team went above and beyond the call of duty to reach Mr Weitzel on the phone despite his being on holiday and to call me back to offer me an operation of 5 August, the date that I was thrilled to accept. During my stay at Blackheath Hospital I was given exemplary care by every member of staff and my recovery has been steady despite my attempting to return to work perhaps rather earlier than was entirely wise. The difference is transformational, and I'm now bouncing around once again after a period when I was having difficulty even walking across a room. Thank you for making so much difference to my life!

I first contacted Tony Corner for a second opinion, following surgery to fix a proximal humerus fracture of my shoulder. Tony came highly recommended and I found him to be friendly and reassuring. He answered all my questions and explained clearly what could be done to improve my shoulder's mobility. Tony performed an arthroscopic capsular release which was a success and improved my range of motion but the plate which had been fitted elsewhere at the time of the original fracture, was limiting my progress. I was nervous about undergoing further surgery to remove the metalwork but Tony was very positive and reassuring and I decided if anyone was going to do this surgery, I wanted it to be him. Two weeks later, my shoulder feels so much better and the mobility is greatly improved too. I do not have private medical cover but this surgery has made such a difference to me. Thank you, Tony.

am African and originally from Africa. Today, the young lady who took my blood was extremely kind and very professional. As we were talking, she was friendly, respectful, and welcoming. I was truly impressed by her attitude and the way she treated me. When she inserted the needle to draw my blood, I barely felt anything — she clearly knew exactly where the vein was and performed the procedure with great skill. I'm sure it was being decorated when I visited 6 months ago. Still is. Before appointment they send forms to be completed online. No problem with that except one is for COVID asking if anybody on the family has been to a country on the government red list or been told to isolate by NHS. Neither of those things happen now. I raise it every time and nothing changes. Almost as if nobody reads the reviews. So much for "quality"

At the Breast Centre, everyone I have seen has been very nice & professional, especially Ms Lobo & Ms Patel. A very special thank you to Alina who has explained everything so clearly , who checks in regularly to see if I’m okay & at the end of the phone if I need her. Receptionists very friendly too!

Best to make sure someone attends with you to ask the questions you might be to groggy to ask at the time. Would be nice if staff shared communication as I have frozen shoulder and I only had chance to tell the lovely Laura staff nurse who reasured me. Dr Ahmed introduced himself and Ruby too...I had to ask what they found and was given printed details at the end. Overall positive. Thank you!
