I had a very good experience with Visio Health when I had recent laser treatment following cataract surgery on both eyes with Ms Sandhu. The cataract surgery, which took place in hospital in July and October, has been very successful. I no longer need glasses after having vision corrective lenses. And I hadn’t realised quite how blurred and sepia my sight had become. My vision is now very clear and bright. It really has positively impacted my life. Everything looks like it did back when I was young. It’s so much more cheerful than that blurry, yellow sight that I had grown so used to. And I am so much more confident when driving. No more night glare. I was really apprehensive and anxious about cataract surgery. So much so that it was decided that I would have the procedure under general anaesthetic. But I can honestly say that despite all the worry the end result is better than I could have imagined. The laser treatment at Visio to improve my sight further with one session of laser treatment was totally painless, very straightforward and uncomplicated. The clinic was very well organised and the staff were all lovely. A very good experience.

I had four wisdom teeth extracted by Raf Niziol and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I was very nervous beforehand, but from my very first consultation Raf was incredibly friendly, calm and reassuring while also being extremely knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to clearly explain what was going on and exactly what needed to be done, which immediately put me at ease. He also has an excellent team around him, especially Dr Imran Ahmad, my anaesthetist, who was equally kind, professional and reassuring. On the day of the surgery Raf made me feel comfortable and relaxed, and the whole process was handled so smoothly. Even after the surgery, during my post-op consultation, he was just as friendly, thorough and professional. I genuinely can’t recommend Raf enough. I’m extremely grateful to him and his team for such a positive experience during what could have been a very stressful procedure.

Asked to be 15 mins early for scan, but then not called until 30 mins or so after time of appointment without any prior indication of running late (perhaps because it was at 6pm ). Head scanner was still busy so junior radiologer kindly chatted to me for 15 mins after I'd changed to kill time. Having been told it would take 15 mins, scan took about 45 mins and team forgot to talk to me or put music on despite me saying I was a bit claustrophic (but can get by ok). Then at 8pm, no doubt in rush to scan next person, they didn't remove cannula so i wandered around to find another staff member to do that who happily obliged. Not a major problem but not up to Cleveland usual standards. Staff were all very friendly though, but perhaps clinic shouldn't book in patients at end of day if they can't really handle them properly.

The set-up was scruffy/down at heel. The reception staff appeared weary, little interaction and certainly no putting anyone at ease. The approach to the outside of the building is unwelcoming and unclear. Far too many stairs with no assistance offered or given. No courteous instructions, no graciousness. The waiting room was full of materials to be used in decorating/ construction …. Maybe they thought the over large, badly adhered to the wall TV playing the same continuous “Winter” loop made up for feeling very much an inconvenience. One of the most annoying things is when you explain you’re deaf they say and they did “Oh we’ll speak loudly.” Empathy dictates clarity and pace NOT volume ( training needed in several areas ) seats in waiting area uncomfortable - nowhere to place/rest anything.

Jag kom till Castle Craig från Sverige efter att ha blivit hänvisad av Beroendekliniken i Stockholm, och jag var nervös inför att resa utomlands för behandling. Redan från början kändes dock hela processen lugn och välorganiserad, vilket verkligen hjälpte mig att känna mig trygg. Personalen var vänlig, tillgänglig och visade ett genuint engagemang för min återhämtning. Behandlingen kändes personlig och aldrig stressad, och för första gången kände jag mig verkligen lyssnad på och förstådd. Den lugna miljön gjorde det lättare att fokusera på mig själv och mitt tillfrisknande. Jag åker härifrån med mer självförtroende, klarhet och praktiska verktyg för vardagen. Jag skulle absolut rekommendera Castle Craig till alla som söker stöd, även om det innebär att resa från ett annat land.

Mr Sobti is an outstanding surgeon. My five year old required urgent attention for a matter of significant concern, and despite my having mistakenly booked with a non-paediatric specialist, Mr Sobti graciously agreed to see us immediately. His bedside manner is exceptional. He has a wonderful way with children and immediately put both my son and our whole family at ease. He identified the issue straight away and arranged the necessary scans to confirm his diagnosis. I must also give special recognition to Ally on his team, who coordinated everything brilliantly. When my son was unable to tolerate an MRI, Ally swiftly organised an ultrasound as an alternative. She was incredibly responsive throughout, even providing live updates via WhatsApp while we were at the clinic.

My son had a surgical extraction and the procedure was very calm and relaxed for him. I was able to be there too, so I watched the whole procedure and was very impressed at how clean the procedure was, resulting in a positive experience and successful extraction, ahead of upcoming orthodontic work. Waiting times weren't too long, although for private treatment we had hoped to be seen a little sooner than we were. The practice staff were friendly and very welcoming and high standards were evident throughout, in terms of hygiene and care. My son has no pain and is recovering well.

I didnt visit a practice, this was a blood test that was sent by post to me with an at home kit. So my rating is based on the blood test. I will visit a practice in early February to do a skin check. But everything was packed securely and sent quickly, and you appear to have received it very quickly and given me a result within a day of receiveing my blood, which I fully appreciate. The only thing I would mention about the process was the amount of blood I could get out of three fingers was less than what you asked for. Luckily it was enough for you to do the test.

Not a paticularly pleasant experience. Was attentive and caring before procedure, after procedure just wanted me up and out, even though I was in a NES non epileptic Seizure. I Signed the water against doing a pregnancy test, as I am non-binary and Asexual and never had sex in my life....but was harassed, called a lier by the aeneathiatist who was demanding i took one. After refusing was treated with distain by her afterwards. I am putting in official complaint as this treatment is illegal and unlawful

I had a full knee replacement and was absolutely delighted with the outcome. As expected, the first two weeks were sore with limited movement, but from there on the progress was fantastic. I increased the level of exercise and was so pleased with the range of movement and knee bend I was able to achieve. Strength increased and by twelve weeks post op, I was back playing club tennis. I really can’t say enough re Andrew’s professionalism and competence. A complete success.

Transfered to Clarytin after disappointing time with NHS awaiting time for appointment for cataract removal. Very pleased with Clarity who saw me very shortly after referral and operated on a week later. I was going to wait for the next operation on the NHS on the 4th February but when that was moved to sometime in April, I took the next available appt on January 20th for a private operation. Both private experiences have been a pleasure and very good.

I went to Dr Al Chalabi for a fistula which I had been living with for several years and he operated on, performing a lay open procedure. He explained everything incredibly well beforehand and put my mind completely at ease. After surgery I was almost pain free and in way less pain than expected. He said I could have an MRI if I wanted to....it was kind of him to say not to have another consultation just let his secretary know if I have thr MRI. I am still deciding on this, however.
