About Mr Antony Wilkinson
Mr Antony Wilkinson is a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon working for the Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and in the private sector for Coriel Orthopaedic Group based at The Briars Consulting Rooms, Doncaster; Kinvara Private Hospital, Rotherham and Ramsay Park Hill Hospital, Doncaster. He specialises in the investigation and surgical treatments of conditions affecting the feet, ankles and lower extremities of the body.
Mr Wilkinson qualified from Northern College of Podiatry in 1990 and developed a particular interest in podiatric surgery. He undertook the MPodA examination in 1994 before carrying out training his surgical training in South Derbyshire. Following this, he completed a fellowship of the Podiatry Association in 1997 and continued with his training before becoming a Consultant in Podiatric Surgery in 2000.
His areas of interest in Podiatric Surgery includes treatment of bunions, osteoarthritis, hammertoes, heel pain and gait analysis.
He is a member of the diabetic foot protection team at Doncaster working closely with Vascular surgeons in limb salvage.
Mr Wilkinson has a keen interest in minimally invasive foot surgery and is the Only Podiatric Surgeon in the North of England qualified to undertake this work.

Dr Wilkinson was fantastic from start to finish. On the first consultation he understood the problems I'd been having and what it would take to resolve them. I recently attended an appointment with Mr Anthony Wilkinson. He was professional and personable. He was thorough in investigating a concerning lump on my foot. He explained very clearly the processes that he would follow and the different scenarios in treatment depending on his findings.
Mr Wilkinson quickly diagnosed a neuroma in my right foot using ultrasound scan and in a minor operation removed it. I am now back to normal activities.

As previously experienced my visit was conducted in a friendly and very professional manner. All my questions were answered in a way I could understand and will not hesitate to use Mr Wilkinson's services again in the future, if required.
Excellent service. Mr Wilkinson explained the MRI results clearly and offered options to aid my recovery.
Suffered for a long time.So happy it didn't take long for appointment. Had a steroid injection on the appointment & xray. Back next month. Excellent. The doctor was brilliant
