I attended for spinal MRI. Unfortunately the technician was running late for which I was happy to wait but because of timing his communication to me was very poor. I was shown a room to change and left there without any guidance, I was then taken to the MRI machine and not spoken to really to ask if I was okay or to provide any reassurance. I don’t like MRI scans because can feel anxious within the machine. All it takes is a little bit of reassurance and acknowledgement for which I had none. Throughout the test the technician did not speak to me at all to ask if I was okay. I am not sure if this is normal but I found during the MRI it became quite hot which I have not experienced before. When the test was over he hurried me away from the machine without acknowledging my back could be hurting when getting up, which it was a little. He didn’t show me to the door so I had to ask if I was allowed to go and then left the room to change and go home. My review would be it is the smallest common curtesies that makes all the difference to a patient and this time I did not experience this at all. So much so I won’t be choosing to go to this venue for another investigation

I would like to ask whether you recommend that I continue the medication. If so, my current prescription lasts month, I may need to request more, as I found that only the first medication I used is available in Saudi Arabia.

He’s also incredibly considerate in the way he coordinates directly with my physio, which removes any risk of miscommunication on my side. Dr Ajai Seth is consistently outstanding, and I feel very well looked after under his care.

At the end of the consultation I had a clear understanding of the protocol and what the next steps will be in the my mother’s health management.

I was an NHS patient struggling with gallstones and experiencing frequent attacks. After doing some research, I was able to book an appointment at Spire Hospital Harpenden, where I first met Mr. Jambulingam in August this year. Mr Sherif examined me at the one stop breast clinic and Hemel Hempstead, reviewed results of the scans and explained next steps. I wish I had asked more questions about what he could see on the scans etc, as when I questioned the macmillan card he gave me and said I presumed that it was unknown until the results of the biopsy, he said from a clinical perspective he suspected cancer and in hindsight I would have liked to have I understood what it was that indicated that. Next time I will take a list of questions.

When she inserted the needle to draw my blood, I barely felt anything — she clearly knew exactly where the vein was and performed the procedure with great skill. If people in this world were all like her, the world would be filled with endless happiness.

An excellent surgeon of high professional standards. He takes time to provide clear explanation of the problem and how it can be resolved. He is diligent in ensuring he has all the relevant information including necessarily appropriate diagnostic investigation to help determine his approach. Definitely worth the referral and ,90mile journey to rectify issues resulting for more local treatment. Mr Chintapatla is probably one of the best surgeons in the country supported by a great team.

Clayton Ward at Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea Hospital

I would very highly recommend the Clayton ward. We have had two babies there and were really well looked after by kind, happy staff (doctors, midwives, assistants, catering and reception) who taught us a huge amount about how to care for a newborn. Having access to 121 support from midwives anytime day or night is just invaluable. The food was very good (for hospital food) and we genuinely looked forward to it each day - it really helped us recover as sleep deprived parents.

I had a great experience at this practice. The hospital was exceptionally clean, well-structured, and very well organized. There was hardly any waiting time, and I was called in for my appointment surprisingly quickly. The facilities were also outstanding. Both the hospital itself and the X-ray department were equipped with modern, high-quality technology, which made the whole process smooth and efficient. Overall, it was an impressive and reassuring experience.
