What an amazing experience! From the moment I got to clinic, everyone was so welcoming. I was anxious as I'd had a couple of awkward and uncomfortable experiences with a nurse and GP prior to this appointment. But, the appointment it's self with Mr Treharne was so good! He explained the procedure clearly and had a good sense of humour. Him and the nurse prepped me and talked me through what was happening. They were both chatty, calm and good energy. This really was unlike any experience I'd had before. Also, during the scan, Dr Treharne noticed something unusual (but normal) and talked me through the findings. I really can't thank him, the nurse and the reception team enough. Also want to thank the lady that I initially booked the appointment with, she was attentive, answered additional nervous questions I had and they were able to give me a quick appointment (for which, I'll say was very reasonably cost too!) Thanks again for all of your help. I would 100% go back to Mr Treharne for anything related to this (or anything else TBH!) Diolch

I recently had surgery on my right hand middle finger to remove a blood vessel malformation, and I couldn’t be happier with the care and results I received from Dr Lawton. From the outset, he was incredibly calm and reassuring, which immediately put me at ease. The procedure was clearly explained and it was obvious that a great deal of thought and planning had gone into it. The surgery itself was meticulously performed, and my recovery has been excellent so far. Any questions I had were answered thoroughly, whether they felt silly or not, which made the whole experience even more reassuring. Paid privately for Hip Replacement, initial appointment was disappointing with an hour wait, and a non interested surgeon. A few blips along the way, upon arrival on surgery day, they had me down for a knee replacement not hip, staff on night shift not the friendliest, and thet x rayed the incorrect hip after the surgery. Day shift were great and surgery went well. I will say I expected more for paying privately however the main thing I've had my surgery instead of the ridiculous wait time on the nhs.

He referred me for several tests including nerve tests and an MRI for my lower spine. He was incredibly informative and helpful throughout the process. Dr Adam Harris

Stellar experience with Dr Harris surrounding various investigations to rule out bowel cancer. Dr Harris is patient and analytical in presenting next steps. He also helped coordinate an MRI scan quickly when time was of the essence. I’m most impressed by the clarity of his analysis throughout the process. On a previous occasion, I had also had a colonoscopy with Dr Harris and appreciated how smooth and calm the procedure was. Cannot recommend him highly enough.

I was super anxious about the tests & potential results and whether they would a) arrive in time (as I was due to travel abroad for a month) & b) prevent me from travelling. She was extremely approachable, friendly and explained everything very clearly.

I recently saw Mr Davies for a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. He listened to my symptoms and arranged quick and effective treatment. He made sure I was well informed before making any decisions and was attentive throughout the process. My surgery went well, my scars are very neat and tidy and the care I've received has been great.

. It’s not clear where the private department is (or any other) as no reception desk at hospital entrance (only a security man on other duties). When in 2nd floor private area do not expect trappings of luxury or flashy equipment. You do get kindness, attentiveness and skill and efficiency. Came out with problem fixed. No cafe.
