I had a mixed experience at my recent procedure. Staff were very friendly in general. However, I was shocked how inconsistent the experience was from one nurse to another. My scheduled procedure did not proceed as planned and as I came to around 6 pm on the evening of Monday First of December, I realised I was still attached to a cannula and I’m supposed to stay the night, which was not planned initially. I was told I should contact someone for my first visit to the toilet. As I did, a very irritable nurse came in and questioned me calling for I needing to use the bathroom. I had to explain to her the reason for calling is that it is my first visit to the bathroom. I then had a very painful antibiotic infusion via the cannula on my hand later that evening. The cannula was not stable. It was moving which was very painful and the nurse kept pushing it and kept asking me why I’m anxious. The same nurse came the following morning at 6 am, after I had not slept the whole night, to complete another equally painful infusion, and then proceeded to collapse a vein on my left hand When she attempted to take blood. I asked her to stop. She was not happy. I’m surprised that this is the quality of service received at a private care ward. I had both my hands with limited ability to move by the time I was to have breakfast. I was unable to use a fork and knife and was really getting upset at that stage as I was given jam containers which I was unable to open due to my hands being pin cushions . I felt helpless and burst our crying at that point: your caterer should really consider their clientele, as when a person does not have hands to use a fork and knife and is very weak then struggling to open a container is the last thing they are going to want to do. I had to call someone to open the jam for me when I eventually picked myself together. My main frustration at that point was not knowing why I am there and how long I was going to be kept for. A different nurse came in later that morning, she removed the cannula from my right hand which then enabled her to take blood from my right hand which as I explained to the other nurse as well is the only hand capable of giving blood. Simple as that, however communicating goals along way when also joined with common sense which I’m afraid to say the evening nurse did not display in spades. There was no need for all of the pain and uncertainty that I had to endure. I’m not usually a sensitive soul, I have had my fair share of hardship and I do not complain for no reason, however I feel this needs calling out, because it was completely unacceptable and could have easily been avoided.

From my experience with Mr. Casula, I have no doubt that he is an expert in his field. I consulted him for a severe mitral regurgitation, a condition I knew very little about, but he explained the issue clearly and described the symptoms I was likely experiencing with complete accuracy. He then walked me through the impact of my condition and how it could progress if left untreated. It quickly became clear that timely treatment was essential. Next came the discussion about treatment options—repair the valve, with a fallback to replacement it if necessary, along with the choice of replacement available using minimal invasive treatment for fast recovery time. This was the most intimidating part of the entire process, but Mr. Casula made everything as straightforward as possible so my family and I could make an informed decision. What impressed me most was his high standard of care: he wasn’t willing to let me undergo a 4–6 hour surgery without ensuring a lasting, effective solution. We talked through our goal and the contingency options if the initial plan wasn’t achievable. On the day of the surgery, he made sure my family and I were fully comfortable with the surgery plan, what I was going to go through, and what to expect afterward. Just over four hours later (which felt more like 30 minutes to me), I woke up to learn that the surgery had gone smoothly and there had been no need to consider any of the backup plans. That was two weeks ago, either I have high tolerance for pain or the pain management is excellent. I mostly too paracetamol and he is still checking in to make sure I’m doing well. His care has been truly amazing and has exceeded all my expectations. Thank you, Dr. Casuala.

A Heartfelt Thank You Dr. Kushan is one of the best doctors i have come across. I am writing to express my deepest gratitude and sincere appreciation for the exceptional care and successful treatment I received under his guidance. From my initial consultation through the completion of my treatment plan, his professionalism, clear communication, and compassionate approach made a significant difference in my experience. He took his time to thoroughly explain my condition and the proposed treatment steps, which greatly alleviated my concerns and allowed me to feel confident and informed throughout the process. I am particularly thankful for the positive outcome of the treatment. I have been feeling much better, and my quality of life has noticeably improved thanks to his expertise and diligence. I feel very fortunate to have been under his care. Sincerely, Shreya

I visited Chapter One with my 4 year old child, we both had an appointment with Ashley. The practice is immaculate, beautifully designed and feels more like a luxury spa than a dental practice. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, we were made to feel welcome and relaxed. Ashley was charming, instantly putting us at ease, involving my daughter with everything she was doing and making it a fun experience. With regards to my appointment, Ashley was very informative, ensuring I had time to ask questions and I left assured I was in highly capable hands. All the equipment was state of the art and I now have ultimate confidence in my dental routine. Easily the most professional and positive dental visit I have had, I would thoroughly recommend Chapter One and will be signing up to one of their care plans for my family.

Less than 3 weeks from the op I am still amazed how smooth and well it's all gone.. I am walking unaided at home and with one crutch outside. There is hardly any pain although still considerable swelling (normal at this stage). What can I say, for me the man is a magician, apart form being a really lovely person. I chose Mr Stafford after seeing at least three other surgeons over the last 3 years and that was the best decision I ever made. The second best was to book 7 days post op rehab in the Wellington North, which included hydrotherapy which I continue as an outpatient. The team is fantastic. I also recommend you watch and follow Mr Stafford's videos where he demonstrates pre-op an post-op exercises. I guarantee you won't find a better pair of legs on the entire YouTube!

Our family has been patients of various members of the team at the Forbury Clinic for over 10 years. Something has changed in the past year, rather than feeling like you are listened to and being cared for it now feels much more like a business akin so a sausage factory. In and out the door as quickly as possible, barely space for questions and little to no bedside manner. It feels like profit over patients. The remainder of our appointment yesterday was in a stair well being led downstairs after being shunted from room to room. With a teenage that is appalling. They find it hard to ask questions in an environment like that.

I can not recommend this clinic enough. My partner SA was one of the last steps of our fertility. When the results came in at first we were confused and full of anxiety (and went into a deep Google black pit) - the consultation with Suzanne gave us the biggest sigh of relief and reassurance we needed with a plan of action to help boost our chances. Don’t rely on the internet to amp your anxiety, book that consultation after your SA to speak to someone who is an expert and can give you the “medical hug” you need.

All staff, including the doctor we saw, we're very friendly, made us feel at ease, and the procedure appears to have been carried out smoothly. The only thing I'd fault is the communication before the appointment, particularly the emails. They include a misleading price, the suggestion that a follow-up would not be required (when we understand that is completely normal) and we'd understood that we could/should be in the room when the procedure was taking place, which was then quite strongly advised against.

From the first conversation with the practice Manager to the appointment i felt at ease, and confident that the clinic would be able to help me, the response to my questions was promptly answered and further assistance was no trouble at all. Dr Perecheria was friendly, welcoming and helped me with everything i needed and the follow up documents where sent very quickly. i would highly recommend the London ADHD Clinic to anyone looking for diagnosis, or further help.

Doctor was wonderful very thorough and given advice to sort the problem and I feel soo much better! However the thing that lets the consultant down is his PA. She never answers the phone or her emails. I have been trying to contact them for 3 days and goring hall themselves can’t help as it is all done through the PA. Shame as I wouldn’t be able to have any complaints, as service was great!

I previously had surgery with Mr Haq for breast cancer and recently had concerns with the other breast. It was easy to book the appointment and seen within 3 days. Consultation was very reassuring and tests completed the same day. I felt confident in the professionalism and care I received by all staff, special thanks to Mr Haq, Nuala and the radiographer who performed my chest x-ray.
