Professor Chinoy’s explanations and clinical opinion and advice were valuable and I ultimately mostly agreed with what he was saying (that I don’t have an autoimmune condition). However, I felt that his bedside manner and empathy was lacking and not up to expectation of his position. At times I felt slightly patronised, not fully understanding of the reasons for seeking a rheumatology review. Given I had completed the pre-visit questionnaire meticulously, I felt that he only focussed on certain aspects of the information, disregarded any positive information provided and therefore was not holistic. He didn’t appreciate that whilst I currently feel unable to be as physically active, it is not because I don’t want to or that I have never been inclined to exercise. I also felt when examining my weaker side, he did not take care to provide countermeasures (twice) despite me having said several times prior to examination that I felt that it is considerably weaker. In retrospect, it may have been more prudent for him to examine my stronger side (for better comparison) before the weak side. I would consider this a basic aspect of clinical examination.

I cannot recommend Mr John Pereira highly enough. From the initial consultation through to post-operative care, I felt completely listened to, reassured, and in expert hands. Mr Pereira is a highly skilled, professional, and caring surgeon, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone considering facial surgery.

Tucked away, the clinic had a bright and airy interior. A warm welcome greeted me at the door and I was swiftly directed to reception. Unlike some medical waiting areas it felt comfortable and homely. I noted they had security was at the entrance, which was reassuring. A cheerful receptionist checked me in efficiently. The waiting area was pleasant, offering a variety of hot drinks including still and sparkling water, biscuits and snacks. I asked for a taxi on leaving and the lady at reception explained they didn’t have a direct telephone number, but would get a colleague to wave one down for me. Very thoughtful.

Overall a good experience except the wait time for the report. The clinicians were professional and friendly. The administration staff were also professional and helpful. The reports are very thorough, clear and professional. The report was over 4 weeks past the date it was expected / had been told. This proved to be extremely stressful. For me it would have been better to advertise a longer wait time and deliver it sooner rather than the other way around. Of course I accept that delays can occur. Overall a good experience and would recommend. Thank you.

My wife and I live in higher Harlech which is rather hilly, I am on the disabled register my wife is 91 years old still driving but was putting more and more pressure on her! After I had the required surgery by Mrs Mathews, the following day was a revelation brightness and visibility that I had not seen in years.

Mr Misfud made the journey to recovery for our daughter possible and was always there with us every step of the way.

Here’s a tightened version with that added: Dr Kerwat was excellent. His surgical skill was clearly evident, and the procedure itself was painless. I felt almost fully recovered within a week, and the hernia has completely receded. He explained everything clearly beforehand, which was very reassuring, and I appreciated being shown photos from the surgery afterwards. Highly professional and thorough throughout.

The staff were all extremely friendly, approachable and knowledgeable, being happy to answer all my questions and put me at my ease. The procedure was quite uncomfortable at times but the staff were on hand to reassure me and to warn me when to anticipate some discomfort. Once the procedure had been completed, the discomfort totally dissipated and l haven't felt any pain at all since - none whatsoever!

No surgery, skin looks healthy and certain skin conditions can get worse after meeting she didn’t take specimen for biopsy. Because the wound is healing naturally and looks healthy.
