A month ago I had the arthrosamid injection. I had never heard of it and initially I went online to find out how others were treating their oesteoarthritis. I found the Joint Clinic quite quickly and was amazed to read that this injection would last about 3 years rather than 3 months for the NHS cortisol injection. My knee was causing a lot of pain especially when the weather changed. I was unable to walk properly, I couldn't walk up or down stairs. My work involves walking and I really thought I would have to retire because of the pain. From day 2 of the injection, I was beginning to walk without as much pain, about 2 weeks later I wasn't limping or experiencing pain at all. It took about 3 weeks to be able to walk up and down stairs without pain. I no longer need anti inflammatory drugs (that was always hit or miss if they would work). I am very pleased with the outcome at the one month mark and I hope my knee pain is no more for years!

This was my first visit to this lovely private GP practice. Lots of parking and ground floor facility was the first tick. Lovely big bright windows another tick creating brightness in what is usually not available in most other medical establishments. No sooner on the door I was greeted with smiles and courtesy from the lovely, friendly receptionists who welcomed me and offered me refreshments. Plenty of books and magazines if I wanted but didn't need them as I was taken at my exact appointment time, another big tick. My GP, Dr Fiona Moore came out to greet me and as I'd completed an online form with my reason for attending she was on the ball with what was required. She was so relaxed and friendly I felt like I'd known her for a long time and I felt at ease answering any questions. Having examined me she knew what the issue was and reassured me. Overall a brilliant experience.

My experience at the hospital was excellent from start to finish. The room was extremely comfortable and well appointed, which certainly helped with rest and recovery, but what truly made the experience exceptional was the nursing team. The nurses were absolutely superb in every way — kind, attentive, professional, and endlessly patient. Nothing was ever too much trouble, no matter the time of day or how small the request. I was made to feel safe, cared for, and genuinely supported throughout my stay. I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding care I received and would not hesitate to recommend this hospital to others.

I had a very positive experience at my recent doctor’s appointment. The staff were attentive, friendly, and truly made me feel cared for. I was especially impressed that the doctors themselves came to the waiting area to welcome their patients (shake their hands 🤝) and personally guide them to the examination rooms — a small gesture that makes a big difference. I also appreciated that I was offered help without having to ask repeatedly, which has unfortunately been my experience at my local GP in the past. Overall, the visit felt organized, professional, and genuinely patient-centered. Highly recommend. Thank you.

Dr Prabhudesai met me at very short notice and operated me a week later. He was kind, professional and understood my situation very quickly. My condition is not serious and yet very painful & uncomfortable so early action was very much appreciated. I could have done with some additional guidance on what recovery might look like and what I could expect but he did see me twice after the procedure, again, at short notice. A special mention for Nayana and Sonya (in Nayana's absence) who manage Dr Prabhudesai's diary. Exceptional in responsiveness and extremely kind and professional. Thank you.

I saw Mr Meneown, on a follow up consultation, after recent tests. I was extremely happy with how he explained everything to me in a gentle, thorough way. He gave me the opportunity to ask questions and he answered those in a very satisfactory way. He included my husband in the conversation which was good for him.. I can not recommend this clinic enough. My partner SA was one of the last steps of our fertility. When the results came in at first we were confused and full of anxiety (and went into a deep Google black pit) - the consultation with Suzanne gave us the biggest sigh of relief and reassurance we needed with a plan of action to help boost our chances. Don’t rely on the internet to amp your anxiety, book that consultation after your SA to speak to someone who is an expert and can give you the “medical hug” you need.

It was a big boost to be able to share my excellent recovery with Professor Glyn-Jones. He performed a TRHR in September 2017 and then a TLHR in October 2025. Both amazing. My (medical) daughter accompanied me and our meeting was cheerful and reassuring for both of us. Really good for an 80 year old patient.

Mr Clerk is an amazing consultant and surgeon. He is calm, sympathetic and very professional. I was having many gynaecological issues and chose to have a full hysterectomy. Mr Clerk was great through the whole process. He puts you at ease with his great sense of humour. Would highly recommend him !
