Mr Malec was recommended to me by a nurse friend and fellow horserider, who'd done all the research and had chosen Mr Malec at Rowley Hall in Stafford for her husbands future knee replacements. I'm so glad I went with her recommendation as Mr Malec is the best. He's kind, reasuring and just a nice man as well as being a great knee surgeon. My operation went without issue 6 weeks ago and today after a check up with Mr Malec and Andy the PT, on the progress I've made, I have passed with flying colours. My xray looks great and I have a good solid, painfree and stable knee where once I had the opposite of all those. I'm now looking forward to walking again in the hills that I've missed and the riding, the swimming and even the small things like walking down the stairs. Its early days but what an amazing change already after 6 weeks. I'm reborn. Cannot thank Mr Malec enough. He's changed my life as it was, I can clearly see that will be ongoing into the future with a smile. Onwards and upwards! Thankyou Mr Makec and your team.

After months of waiting on the NHS I went to see Mr Bailey. After my initial consultation I felt such relief as not only was there a clear plan of what we were going to do, but relief came from being actively listened to about my injury and my concerns. Ultimately we made the decision that keyhole surgery for my medial meniscal tear was the best option. The daily pain I was in, I often described as a persistent dull ache but it was gone almost immediately after surgery. Since the surgery I have felt like a new person. Mr Bailey remembered a comment I made about my concerns on looking after my young children with the lack of mobility. I was pleased not only to get my full motion back thanks to his skill but found him so personable with the fact that he remembered this comment several months later at my final consultation. I arrived at 8.50 for a 9 am appointment. Was taken for a urine test which was irrelevant to why I was there and I never saw any results of. At 9.01 I saw the Dr arriving in the clinic. I was told she had a telephone appointment. At 9.15 I saw a patient leave her consulting room and was eventually seen. Despite having filled out the pre questionaire with my medication Dr Carulli couldn't find it but instead wanted to go through them. But then in her covering letter to my GP missed out significant ones like statins. Dr Carulli listed herself as a specialist in Osteoporosis but didn't seem to know a lot - at one point asking why there were two scores in my DEXA scan (one is the T score one is the z score a WEB MD search can tell you that...).

Mr Jayanthi is such a nice, friendly, humble surgeon. Who puts you at ease, but shows so much care & support. He explains everything so well and is so very humble with how he speaks with you and explains things. Following surgery, he called in from home in the evening to check on his patients (including me). Never rushing and always happy to answer how ever many questions and queries you have - he never rushes you and makes you feel like he has all the time in the world to listen, talk etc. He has changed my life and I will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart for him and what he has done for me.

I had a hip replacement 10 weeks ago. This was carried out at The Yorkshire Clinic by Dr Brew. The whole process was super smooth and the treatment was excellent. I have recovered superbly and the new hip is amazing, it’s almost like it never happened . Anyone that is anxious about having this done then please don’t be as apart from a few weeks of discomfort the outcome is totally worth it . My other hip will or need doing in a few years and I can say without hesitation I would have this done in a heartbeat

I arrived a little early but was seen by Toby almost immediately Toby greeted me in a very pleasing manner and after an initial examination removed wax from both ears without causing discomfort. He then carried out an examination of both hearing aids and informed me that they were both in good order. I was finished in a little under fifteen minutes and left delighted with the service.
