Mr Aprajit (Apu) Bhalla

Mr Aprajit Bhalla is a dual fellowship-trained hand surgeon with surgical experience gained while training in the United Kingdom and India.

He graduated from the University of Delhi and completed his orthopaedic training in London in 2012. Spurred by his interest in hand surgery, he undertook advanced fellowship training at the Pulvertaft Hand Centre, Derby and was awarded the prestigious British Hand Society Fellowship at Northern General Hospital, Sheffield.

Mr Bhalla's NHS practice is based at North Middlesex University Hospital, where he focuses on conditions affecting the hand, wrist, and elbow. He is also an honorary consultant hand surgeon at the St Andrew's Centre for Plastic Surgery, Chelmsford.

Apu believes in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care. He works closely with fellow surgeons and allied healthcare professionals to ensure optimal functional outcomes for his patients.

Outside work, Apu enjoys running to stay fit and has mixed success honing his daughter's racquet skills.
