He provides clear explanation for complex procedures, including total knee replacement, hip replacement, and various foot and ankle surgeries, resulting in excellent outcomes such as pain relief and improved mobility. His extensive experience with knee replacement and hip replacement procedures is commended.
Mr Atkinson performed a Total hip replacement on my right hip. I was operated on a Saturday. He visited me back in the ward after surgery. To my great surprise he came to see me again around 7.30am on the Sunday morning. I have nothing but total admiration for Mr Atkinson
I cannot recommend Mr Atkinson highly enough. From my very first appointment, he was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. He explained my condition clearly and helped me understand the options available to me, allowing me to make informed decisions about my treatment. I underwent a meniscectomy in April, and the care I received was excellent. The staff were kind, caring, and attentive throughout, making sure I was comfortable and well looked after at every stage. Now, five weeks after surgery, my knee feels significantly more comfortable, and with the support of physiotherapy, my rehabilitation is progressing really well. The improvement I have experienced has made a huge difference to my daily life. Thank you to Mr Atkinson and his team for the outstanding care, expertise, and support I have received from start to finish. I am extremely grateful for the positive outcome and the high standard of treatment throughout my journey.
My experience from start to finish regarding my total knee replacement was excellent. Mr Atkinson was professional and caring, and I would highly recommend him.
I cannot thank Henry enough for the incredible care and expertise I received throughout my treatment. Having undergone three knee operations, including a knee alignment procedure. Henry was not only highly skilled but also genuinely compassionate, taking the time to explain every step of the process and ensuring I felt confident and informed. The level of professionalism and attention to detail was outstanding. Thanks to their expertise, my recovery has been far better than I expected, and I’m already seeing a huge improvement in my mobility and quality of life. I truly feel that I was in the best possible hands. he made sure that i can go back to my sports in the shortest time possible. I would highly recommend Henry to anyone needing knee treatment. Hi dedication, skill, and patient-centred approach is second to none.
Whole hospital experience excellent. Pre op everything explained clearly Mr Atkinson puts one at ease and two months later I feel confident that I will be able to return to enjoying walks without pain
I am a very active 51 year old man and Mr Atkinson fixed my medial meniscus tear which had been obstructing movement in my leg. After 8 weeks I am back swimming, practicing Yoga 5 times a week (all poses including deep squats and child pose) and I also started kick boxing again. I will be training jiu jitsu again in a week's time. I also climbed the stairs at Highgate tube station this week - all 100 of them - without any pain or locking. I had a very good experience with Mr Atkinson. From initial to final consultation I was very happy with the care given to me. In fact my girlfriend who is also a doctor was very impressed by Mr Atkinson's knowledge on a variety of questions she asked. He was very accommodating of her as well allowing her to talk to him on the phone and with me in my final consultation. I want to thank Mr Atkinson for putting me forward for this care, without this I would be struggling with my physical activities and now I have a new lease of life. Thank you so much.
I was treated by Mr Atkinson for a full knee replacement. He was clear and professional and gave excellent pre and post-op tips and advice. The knee has progressed very well thanks to his care.
Three years ago I was in severe pain due to arthritis. I could hardly walk. I consulted Mr Henry Atkinson who saw me through 5 operations including two knee replacements and corrective feet and toe surgeries. His energy and enthusiasm added to an overall excellent experience. I would recommend him unreservedly.
I have known Henry for a decade and have referred family and friends without hesitation. He is a gifted diagnostician and surgeon as well as a great communicator.
