About Dr Dushyant Maradia
Dr Dushyant Maradia is a highly experienced Consultant Cardiologist based at the North Middlesex University Hospital and Northway Clinic. He specialises in Transthoracic, Transoesophageal and Stress echocardiography, coronary artery disease, hyperlipidaemia, hypertension, syncope and familial hypercholesterolemia and arrhythmia.
Dr Maradia completed his training in general cardiology and non-invasive cardiac imaging at Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania. He went on to specialise in advanced echocardiography. He was appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist at North Middlesex University Hospital (NMUH) in 2016, where he runs a special valve clinic. He is also developing an acute cardiology service at NMUH Accident and Emergency department.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Maradia regularly teaches junior doctors, consultants from other specialities and visiting doctors from developing countries. He is also actively involved with charities such as the ‘Heart Valve Voice', raising awareness of heart valve disease.
