Mr Culpan, Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon works for The Royal London Hospital, one of the largest trauma centres in Europe. In 1996 Mr Culpan graduated from the University of Manchester with a bachelor's in both medicine and surgery. Following that he began his basic surgical training, performing surgical rotations at both Bart's and Royal London. He completed his higher surgical training in Trauma and orthopaedic surgery at University College London. Later on, in 2005, he was awarded a fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons and completed his training in 2007.
Following the completion of his fellowship, Mr Culpan undertook an additional year-long fellowship under the well renowned Orthopaedic surgeon Prof Judet in France. After finishing this final fellowship he then went on to be a consultant in Abu Dhabi, returning to the UK in 2010 to work within the Bart's Health Trust. Mr Culpan during his career has also had a keen interest in research and has an excellent publication history.
Currently, Mr Culpan works as a senior consultant for Royal London Hospital in which he takes on additional teaching roles. He also works alongside that in central London on his private practice where patients from around the world seek him out due to his expertise. He remains a highly prevalent and active surgeon within his field with a specific interest in custom hip and knee replacements (CT planned), pelvic and acetabular trauma, revision, and complex arthroplasty. Recently, he has developed a keen interest in osteointegration and rehabilitation.

Mr Culpan is brilliant, from the moment we stepped into his office he put us as ease with his experience and expertise in his field. the attention to details to make sure I was ready for my surgery was 2nd to none and there was no stone unturned to ensure i had the best experience possible whilst taking care of his personal health and wellbeing. From the first consultation to the surgery through to the follow up has been outstanding.

I had a major sports injury on my knee involving MCL, ACL and Meniscus injury. Dr Culpan did my ACL reconstruction and his work helped me to back on track for sports. Very happy with the results and overall experience with Dr Culpan and his team.

I had trochanteric bursitis, tightness in ITB (ilio tibial band) and a bone spur plus inflammation. I was in pain for a long time. Injections and physio didn't seem to work and over time it was decided that surgery be the best option. I had surgery with Mr Culpan and 6 weeks after it I feel so much better and am moving and walking so much better and the chronic pain has gone to a mere recovery sensitivity. Am thrilled with the result.

Paul did an excellent job on a replacement hip 12 years ago. I was back at work in 3 weeks and just had follow up check and every thing is still working great.

I first met Mr Culpen about 6/7 y an ago when he performed a complex hip revision. It was an astounding surgery surgery which saved my hip. I found Me Culpen to bell very professional but also had a very kind, gentle manner that put m right at ease and made what was a very challenging time for me more bearable. I highly recommend him!
