My son was born with severe club foot in both feet, and his condition was very worrying from the beginning. His treatment started on the 5th day after his birth. Today, at just 2 years old, my son can walk, run, do all his daily activities, and has even started playing football. Seeing this progress feels like a miracle to us, and it has only been possible because of the timely involvement, dedication, and expertise of Mr. Verma. Mr. Verma not only treated our son but also guided us through every step, gave us strength, and supported us during one of the toughest times of our lives. His reassurance, encouragement, and commitment made a huge difference to our family. I would also like to sincerely thank every member of the team who took care of my son. From the reception staff to the clinical team, everyone was amazing—kind, friendly, supportive, and truly compassionate. Thanks to his expertise, I was able to travel without any problems at all. I also want to highlight the great service from the team at Shirley Oaks Hospital, especially with the follow-up dressing changes, which were handled with kindness and professionalism. I don’t have private medical insurance, but I was very happy with the overall cost and felt the treatment offered excellent value for money. The appointment itself was very positive. Dr. Robert Gordon was calm, validating, and genuinely listened. The room was quiet, warm, and set up like a cosy study, which made it feel safe rather than clinical. He explained the diagnostic impressions clearly at the end in a way that finally made sense, and it didn’t feel dismissive. I left feeling understood in a way I haven’t experienced with other services, although the level of positivity felt unexpected and left me a bit uncertain about how to interpret it. The only issue was the arrival process. My appointment was in the late evening, and reception was closed. It wasn’t clear where to check in, and I had no phone signal. I had to rely on Wi-Fi and the website photos to work out where to wait. Overall, despite the initial uncertainty about the building, the clinical experience was extremely positive. Everything went smoothly, and the assessment itself was very professional.

I am so grateful to Delamere for my 4-week stay. The facilities are truly incredible - comfortable, well-appointed and a palpable feeling of safety. The staff are such caring, friendly and interesting people - with the relevant experience to truly empathise and help with our unique circumstances. The food is world-class, with a wide range of options and affordances for those with dietary restrictions. The suite of experiential options will introduce you to new therapeutic experiences, many of which you may take away with you. The curriculum is focussed and has real depth, and is taught by professionals with real experience of addiction. The clinical staff are wonderfully attentive and caring, and will move mountains to make you comfortable. I am so pleased to have made the decision to stay at Delamere and would recommend it whole heartedly to anyone who wants to make a change.

I feel the signs to tell you where to go could be clearer my mobility is not good had quite a long walk to get inside the building. My ultrasound scan was carried out with such speed I felt it was rushed, I had to ask for white paper roll to protect my clothes from being wet from the gel ,while the scan was being carried out the nurse sat behind the consultant on his chair ! I feel she should have been at the bottom of the couch standing at my feet reassuring me & asking if I was comfortable.kingsbridge give “an excellent 1st class experience re procedures” I’m afraid in my appointment this was not the case , over the years i have had many experiences with ultrasound and this was the worst , i could not have been on the couch anymore than 4 or 5 minutes very disappointing.

From the first consultation, he was friendly, approachable, and very honest about the different treatment options, including what would and wouldn’t be suitable for me. The procedure itself was quick and professionally handled, and the aftercare has been excellent. My vision is now significantly improved, and the whole experience was great. I met mr Rob Bethune at a preliminary meeting to discuss having a hernia repair. He explained everything very clearly and I decided to go ahead and have it done. On the day of the procedure I was escorted to a room to await my turn. The procedur was done under a local anesthletic and took about an hour and I was conscious all the time and then taken back to my room. I was allowed home after about an hour. I was a bit uncomfortable for about a week but have been 100 percent since with no repercussions. Mr Rob Bethune is a great surgeon.

I had an urgent issue with my back and Ms. Aamina Saeed was able to book me in right away. She was incredibly professional and attentive from the moment I arrived. Her massage, cupping, and use of the power gun were all excellent, and she immediately understood where my trigger points were without me having to explain much. I felt truly cared for and in very capable hands. She is efficient, skilled, and highly knowledgeable. I’m very grateful for her help and would highly recommend her to anyone in need of physiotherapy.

Just a couple of things… Firstly, during the pre-assessment appointment with the specialist nurse, I was informed that a catheter would be inserted by the anaesthetist - which is incorrect! (think it’s the nurse, but it was important to me as I knew the anaesthetist personally) Secondly, please move the wall clock in the room! Following surgery when you’re lying awake during what feels like an endless night, it would be good to be able to know what time it is.
