I am a very active 51 year old man and Mr Atkinson fixed my medial meniscus tear which had been obstructing movement in my leg. After 8 weeks I am back swimming, practicing Yoga 5 times a week (all poses including deep squats and child pose) and I also started kick boxing again. I will be training jiu jitsu again in a week's time. I also climbed the stairs at Highgate tube station this week - all 100 of them - without any pain or locking. I had a very good experience with Mr Atkinson. From initial to final consultation I was very happy with the care given to me. In fact my girlfriend who is also a doctor was very impressed by Mr Atkinson's knowledge on a variety of questions she asked. He was very accommodating of her as well allowing her to talk to him on the phone and with me in my final consultation. I want to thank Mr Atkinson for putting me forward for this care, without this I would be struggling with my physical activities and now I have a new lease of life. Thank you so much.

I went to see Mr.Crinnion with a suspected inguinal hernia. He carefully explained that there were two surgical options and provided me with details of both explaining the different techniques and outcomes. After a couple of days I made a decision to have laparoscopic surgery of which Mr. Crinnion has extensive expertise and called his practice secretary to arrange for a surgery to take place at a mutually convenient time. At the London Clinic I met the anaesthetist and Mr. Crinnion before the operation and both put my mind at rest and afterwards Mr. Crinnion came by the tell me that all had gone well. Post operatively everything has been fine and I was working again five days later. After three weeks I saw Mr.Crinnion for a follow up consultation. I found Mr. Crinnion's calm manner to be very reassuring throughout what is for most of us quite a sensitive time and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a surgeon with outstanding expertise.

Having hernia surgery is not something anyone looks forward to, but Mr Renwick and the team at Ross Hall Clinic and Hospital made the experience stress free. I was provided with clear information about the procedure, the various options for surgery and what to expect in terms of recovery times etc. My pre op assessment was extremely thorough and the operation itself was successful. I was able to return home on the same day and although I experienced some discomfort I only required two of the stronger painkillers I was prescribed and a few paracetamol during the first 48 hours. I opted for robotic assisted laparoscopic surgery for my bilateral inguinal hernia which Mr Renwick advised was likely to reduce my recovery time. My operation was exactly 6 weeks ago and I can say that I am now back to full health and ready to (gradually) get back to the gym.

Couldn't fault the hospital at all. It is clean, and a very welcoming environment, but of course is absolutely down to the people that run it. Every single member of staff I came across - whether in my pre op assessment appointment, or during my surgical visit - was incredibly kind, patient, and so easy to get along with. I have had few good experiences when it comes to hospital visits, but the two times I've been at The Lister Hospital, I have spoken to and laughed with so many workers. My nurse Rasheed was an absolute gem, and was brilliant with my family when they came to the room after surgery. Whether it was the nurse that helped me to the loo, the people on reception, the physio - every single person I interacted with made it such a calm and positive experience, their kindness will stay with me so thank you very much

His attention to detail and genuine concern made all the difference and he ensured I understood every step of my treatment. The entire Pixie and Sera team was extremely professional from scheduling either online or by phone to reception at the clinic. They all ensured I was seen within minutes on my appointment days. Keep up great job! Suggestion - If we could get appointments and at least tests and labs done over the weekends. Maybe half days on Saturdays? It is hard for some of us to come on weekdays hence all my appointments had to be done late in the evenings. If I had an option for Saturday I would've preferred that than late in the evenings. Received urgent call requesting blood test for tolerance to Dye. I Moved appointments for that afternoon to facilitate a flying visit. After arrival kept waiting for 35 minutes until I asked reception as was needed elsewhere and was told phlebotomist would be with me shortly. With Phlebotomist approx 3 minutes, total time 50 minutes and 50 miles traveled Then had to wait 9 days for scan which was only scheduled following chase-up from private GP. On presenting for CT Scan was told that they did not require blood test as procedure did not indicate use of dye. Most unimpressive communication and administration throughout
