My research and decision to request a private consultation with Professor Deena Harji in preference to Surgery at Lancaster Royal Infirmary has proved to be a wise move. Being fortunate to have one of the leading advanced robotic colorectal surgeons was indeed fortunate for me,howbeit on a private basis which proved expensive. I only spent 5 nights at the Christie Private care and currently l am at home on my eleventh day of recovery. I cannot say enough about Professor Harji caring manner,capacity to empathise and warmth.l felt valued and cared for.Surfice to say a formidable Surgeon and human being.

Professor Harji was excellent throughout. She took the time to listen to the specific concerns I had and clearly took them into account when advising on the best course of action for my condition. I felt completely at ease under her care and confident that she was balancing the best definitive treatment with the worries I had. I can’t recommend her enough.

I was looked after incredibly well. Everything was explained thoroughly to me and before and after my surgery I was well looked after. I felt safe under the care.

Professor Harji took the time to explain everything clearly to me before the operation, she answered my questions and gave me lots of reassurance. Professor Harji is clearly very passionate about surgery and achieving excellent patient outcomes. Her manner and approach made me feel at ease throughout the process and I felt extremely well cared for. Professor Harji is my superhero.

Professor Harji has been amazing from when I required my emergency operation up until my recent operation when we first met I knew I was in safe hands and I could trust my life with her. Would highly recommend her when I was anxious she put me at ease which was a big help. I knew I would be safe in her care would highly recommend so glad she was my surgeon.

Never have I met a more professional and pleasant person. She talked me, and my wife, through every aspect of the future treatment of this serious ailment and the subsequent procedures that would follow. Never too much trouble to talk things through.
