Mr Vasanthakumar Ramsingh

Mr Vasanthakumar Ramsingh is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in shoulder, elbow, hand, and wrist surgery. Based in Lincolnshire, he practices at Boston West Hospital and Pilgrim Hospital, part of the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. After earning his medical degree in India, he moved to the UK to pursue advanced orthopaedic training. He completed his specialist training in South Wales and undertook prestigious upper limb fellowships at renowned institutions, including Northern General Hospital in Sheffield, Arrowe Park Hospital in Wirral, Wrightington Hospital, and the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham.

He has specialised in treating upper limb disorders, and Mr Ramsingh performs a wide range of procedures, including shoulder arthroscopy for rotator cuff related injuries, shoulder replacement, elbow trauma repair, wrist arthroscopy, and surgeries for conditions like Dupuytren's contracture and thumb osteoarthritis. He is dedicated to delivering high-quality care tailored to each patient’s needs.

He serves as a College Tutor and Specialty Education Lead for Orthopaedics at Pilgrim Hospital, mentoring the next generation of surgeons.
