EXPERIENCE

· I am a general orthopaedic and trauma surgeon practicing since 1984.

· Special Interests: My special interests are in knee and hip surgery. I have published nationally and internationally in this field.

· International Fellowship: My unit is recognised for ISAKOS Knee Fellowship. I teach orthopaedic surgeons from all over the world, who join me to do the fellowship.

· Post-graduate Education: I have a strong interest in postgraduate education. I teach in a number of courses at regional and national level. I get international fellow in my unit to learn orthopaedics especially knee surgery. I regularly teach GPs locally and nationally. I have arranged a few MSK courses for the GPs at national level.

· Publications: I have presented a number of scientific papers on a variety of topics in trauma and orthopaedic surgery at regional, national and international meetings. I am also experienced of preparing scientific papers for publication in peer journals.

· Examiner: I am an examiner for MRCS conducted by Royal College of Surgeons in England.

· Peer Journal Review: I am reviewer of two international journals (Arthroscopy and The Bone and Joint Journal) in Trauma and orthopaedics.

· Medico-legal practice: I have been active in medico-legal practice since 2002 with regards to personal injury. I take up general trauma and orthopaedic cases. I also prepare report on a specialist knee and hip cases.
