Mr Elijah Macowvic

Mr Elijah Macowvic is a Consultant Urogynaecologist with a strong commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care. Originally from Ghana, he moved to the United Kingdom in his late teens. He went on to study at King's College London and St George’s University of London, where he completed his undergraduate and medical training.

Mr Macowvic has worked continuously within the National Health Service (NHS) since 2011, developing the experience and specialist expertise required for his role as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with expertise in urogynaecology. His practice focuses on the diagnosis and management of pelvic floor disorders and bladder conditions affecting women at different stages of life.

His clinical interests include urogynaecology, urinary incontinence treatments, pelvic floor surgery and vaginal prolapse. He also manages bladder pain syndrome, recurrent urinary tract infections and cystitis, providing both conservative and surgical treatment options tailored to individual patient needs.

Mr Macowvic is dedicated to ensuring women feel heard, informed and supported throughout their care. His approach combines evidence-based treatment with clear communication and shared decision-making to achieve the best possible outcomes for his patients.
