About Mr Nijil Vasukutty
Mr. Nijil Vasukutty is a Consultant Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon, currently practising in Lincoln and Boston, Lincolnshire. He specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, including bunions, claw toe, flat feet, Achilles tendon disorders, ankle sprains, and osteoarthritis of the ankle providing comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care tailored to each patient’s needs.
Mr. Vasukutty completed his MBBS and Diploma in Orthopaedics at the University of Kerala, India, in 1995. After relocating to the United Kingdom in 2005, he continued his postgraduate training, achieving his Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He further enhanced his expertise with specialist foot and ankle training at Southampton University Hospital and the University Hospital of South Manchester, as well as advanced training in diabetic foot surgery at King’s College Hospital, London.
In addition to his clinical practice, Mr. Vasukutty is actively involved in research and education. He has authored over 25 publications, including 14 peer-reviewed articles. He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (BOFAS) and the International Association of Diabetic Foot Surgeons.

We saw Mr Vasukutty yesterday about my foot problems and we found him to be extremely helpful in explaining my condition. The pain is so bad in my foot, that I asked if it would be possible to have my two toes amputated, but he explained why that wouldn’t be possible, as it would cause more problems than I have at the moment. He had a model of a foot and explained how the toes work and how removing two, would be catastrophic for me in the future. Mr Vasukutty was in no rush to get us out of the door (as many doctors in the past have been) and we felt very reassured as to a possible solution. I am hoping, if I decide to have the surgery, that Mr Vasukutty will perform it for me, as I felt total trust in him. Thank you

Consultant Mr Nijil Vasukutty is a very nice man .He did another xray on my feet to get more information about my feet .He was very thorough with the procedure and everything that will happen including the pain when have the injection. He showed me exactly on a Skelton foot what was going on with my feet .I feel more relaxed with the procedure. He made me feel reassured on everything that will happen . I feel so pleased I have finally got answers and getting help .thank you
