Mr Prabhakar Motkur is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Upper Limb/Shoulder Surgeon at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston where he has been employed from 2007. He completed his basic surgical rotation in the Bristol area and undertook Higher Surgical Training for Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery in the Wessex region. He then undertook sub-specialist Fellowship training in Shoulder and Upper limb Surgery at University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire. He also holds a Master's Degree in Orthopaedic Surgery from India.
Mr Motkur has private practice with bases at St Hugh's Hospital in Grimsby, Boston West Hospital in Boston and FitzWilliam Hospital in Peterborough.
Mr Motkur treats all of the common upper limb and lower limb musculoskeletal problems and had been practising in this specialised area for over 18 years. Mr Motkur's speciality interest is in Shoulder & Upper limb Surgery and General Trauma Surgery with annual attendances of over 3000 new and follow-up patients. He undertakes over 400 shoulder and upper limbs procedures annually, including arthroscopic and arthroplasty procedures in addition to general trauma surgery.
