Mr Sathya Murthy is friendly and clearly explains things to patients. He discusses procedures like knee arthroscopy and shoulder replacement, covering risks and aftercare, which helps patients feel reassured. Some patients mention feeling rushed, not listened to, or a lack of empathy during consultations. Mr Murthy's specialism focuses on knee replacement and rotator cuff repair.
Mr Murthy is respectful and considerate but always maintains a professional relationship and is very focused on the clinical aspects of the doctor-patient relationship. He is happy to answer questions and has a friendly demeanour. Importantly, the outcome of my total shoulder replacement operation was excellent.
Fine. Sometimes I had a little difficulty understanding him but I am ABIT hard of hearing.
As I was taking co codamol it made me very constipated, perhaps something could be given to combat this.
Mr Murthy is calm, professional and explains treatment clearly. I was impressed by his skill in replacing my shoulder and am very satisfied with the outcome.
The doctor explained in detail what was going to happen and asked me if I had any concerns and made me feel at ease .
Very short with me. Didn’t want to listen to me. Saying that on my notes I had injection in back in 2018 when I never did. Was he looking a the right persons notes. I presume he was. I still have things in my NHS app that has never happened to me. He said I had an mri which included my shoulder. Just very disappointed with the way he comes across
A very satisfactory, all round, experience. Commencing with a detailed and thorough examination and diagnosis (including imaging). Proceeding through a surgical procedure backed up by a comprehensive after care package. I felt that I was in safe and experienced hands throughout. Thank you.
Mr Murthy is a skilled surgeon and has a wealth of experience
