Mr Sathya Murthy

Mr Sathya Murthy has had extensive experience in Orthopaedic surgery and speciality training at leading hospitals in the United Kingdom, Ireland and India before taking up post in Kent as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. at East Kent NHS University Trust..

Mr Murthy obtained Diploma in Orthopaedics in 1987 from the University of Madras, He was awarded FRCS in 1989, Masters degree in Orthopaedics from Liverpool University and Intercollegiate Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery in 1999. He completed Senior Registrar training in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Cappagh National Orthopaedic Hospital in Dublin, gaining extensive experience in hip and knee replacement, He had further training in knee reconstruction and replacement in the Professorial unit at the Southampton University Hospital,

His Sports Fellowship Training in shoulder and knee injuries for 18 months was at the prestigious Royal Devon and Exeter Hospitals. He had the privilege of undergoing training in Shoulder & Elbow surgery under the guidance of two Past Presidents of British Elbow and Shoulder Society.
