When I first met Mr Daniel Fudulu. I was extremely nervous. I’m very worried as you can imagine I’ve never been to the BRI..Also being far away from home .. Mr Daniel Fudulu made me relaxed and extremely welcome. he spoke then paused and asked if I had any questions which I felt was very helpful and not once I felt rushed..after 10mins I felt so relaxed and realised we had a lot in common. I knew Mr Daniel Fudulu was the one to give me a second chance of life . He was fantastic understood me and understood my worries took the time to listen to me & never once felt rushed .i just knew I could 100% trust Mr Daniel Fuduluand his team with my life. Also, the care I received at the BRI was fantastic. The intensive care team was brilliant helped me for start to finish and then the recovery ward was just to say even when I was lonely where my family was far away the cleaner the tea lady all took time to talk to me, which made my day a lot better. Thank you be alright have a special thank you too. Mr Daniel Fudulu And his team forgiven me this chance of life and to see my children and grandchildren grew up.. thank you kind regards, Mr. L Collins.

Mr Ankur Barua

I went to see Mr Barua for a laser eye surgery. I had been to see two other more well-known providers for consultations but this was the only consultation where I actually got to meet my surgeon and ask him questions directly. At my consultation Mr Barua was very thorough and knowledgeable and carefully explained all my options, as well as the pros and cons of each. I needed more time to decide whether to go ahead with surgery and Mr Barua was happy to let me take the time I needed, there was no hard sell or push to book in and he also offered me another consultation if I felt I needed it. His secretary Kate was also very helpful when I did have further questions and was happy to talk over various aspects of the procedure when I called back. I had my surgery done about 6 weeks later and I felt very safe in Mr Barua's hands and his team were great. The follow ups have been easy to schedule in and again the team have been very thorough. The healing and recovery have gone well without any issues and I am very glad I opted to have Mr Barua perform my surgery.

I went privately for a hip replacement. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. I was met in reception by a lovely man who took my bag for me an led me to my room. I was admitted by staff who each came to introduce themselves and explain what they would be doing. The room was lovely with a view onto the woodland just outside where a herd of small deer ran past one morning. The food was excellent and the staff were plentiful and friendly. If I had not been there for surgery, I would still have been happy to stay in that room! The surgery was fine and the aftercare was very efficiently handled by all concerned. When I did need to press my buzzer for attention, someone responded promptly and fetched the relevant staff members to help me. I felt safe and well cared for. It was the first time I have had surgery and I was apprehensive but the staff were all calm and reassuring.

I booked a consultation with Daleswood Aesthetics online and attended to discuss one of their treatments (Emsella). The treatment was explained fully and I booked a course of six treatments. I have had two treatments so far and I am very impressed with the level of service and how professional all of the team are. They pay attention to detail and ensure your experience with them is outstanding. The treatment rooms are clean, modern and impressive. The treatments they offer are leading edge and deliver results. After two sessions, I am already seeing results. They have a large waiting room and a good size car park. They have thought of everything to make your visit as easy and welcoming as possible. After the first right eye cataract removal Mazen Tahhan gave me his telephone number and said to call him if I had a problem. I am a very keen insect photographer and found with the distance lens I could not see the camera screen clearly. I became worried about the impact on my ability to focus close up on insects. About 8 p.m. I sent him a text briefly outlining my concerns . He called me back immediately and listened carefully. I was even considering other options than the NHS lens and he kindly sent details of these. However he advised me to I stay with a close-up NHS lens to get as much light into the eye as possible. I followed his advice and am very pleased and very satisfied with the result. Sabina George

Mr Iain McLaughlin-Symon

Mr Iain McLaughlin-Symon performed surgery on my left hand to correct dupuytrens contracture on my little finger. The surgery went well and I left hospital with my hand well bandaged and protected. After 1 week a very proffessional nurse removed the big bandage and replaced with a smaller bandage and I was provided with a splint to wear at night to keep the finger straight. Another week later another very proffessional nurse removed the bandage and removed all of the tiny stitches in the wound. The attention to detail by all of the staff who helped me was very impressive and has contributed to the excellent outcome of my surgery.

I had booked a vitamin infusion. The whole experience was a desaster. The nurses used several needles but were not able to “find a good Vene” as they called it. They said my venes are the problem which is ridiculous as I had been to your place to get infusions multiple times and there never was a problem. As a result, I now have three large bruises and my arms hurt. I left without getting the infusion. The ladies did not even apologize. In my view, they should get proper training both when it comes to doing injections and servicing clients. I will not return.

Dr Hari is a special guy. It took me a long time to find someone that could check my thinking on repurposed anti cancer meds and guide us professionally and expertly on top of our NHS chemo. We were used to a NHS oncologist sticking to the rules, no options ever provided and just a doom loop of bad news. Dr Hari has a warm manner, positive personality, super smart and we liked him immediately. He has guided us through an area we are new to and is always so helpful with our queries and issues. Karen was so lovely to speak with over the phone regarding my daughter’s issues that’s she’s had with eczema and allergies. I thought it would be a 10 minute check in but the call with Karen lasted the hour. I did not feel rushed and my concerns were listened to. Karen gave really great advise around adding things to diet that may help my little one and reminding me of all the things I can incorporate to ensure I am covering all food groups and possible allergens. We paid £240 to the consultant and gained no extra knowledge or benefit. She basically couldn’t help because she said I needed fertility and not recurrent miscarriage. She said there was a fertility consultant there I should have booked with. Then why not offer to not charge me and book me with right person? Isn’t that what healthcare should be about rather than about taking my money? There is no triage service in place to make sure I got the right appointment. I feel robbed at a time where I am vulnerable.

I had a really good first consultation with Dr Dobrina Hull. I felt that she was well prepared and had reviewed my scan. She asked questions and listened carefully to my answers to build a picture of the various issues I’ve experienced and see whether they’re linked. She was really clear about the next steps and reasons for the tests and interventions. I was left hopeful that these would help relieve my symptoms and find out what is causing the inflammation.

I found the GP we visited to be welcoming and friendly, he was very informative and honest with things however I found the reception staff to be the opposite they were not very welcoming and I felt that they were closed of from any type of communication or request I did not like that they were so miserable no smiles just blank I didn't like the experience or the feeling I felt when walking into the practise but the doctor was great.

I have a narrow right ear canal and so was somewhat concerned as to how difficult the 'procedure' might be - but I need not have worried; it was totally pain-free with no discomfort whatsoeve and, as a result, I would not hesitate to recommend this practice.
