From my first consultation through to my last when I was discharged from his care, Bilal has been the most reassuring, calm, informative, patient and genuinely caring surgeon I could have wished for. During that first consultation he was not pushy and was very clear and thorough in his reasoning for recommending a TKR. He then explained what he would do during the procedure, what recovery would be like and his role throughout the process. Even when I had to postpone my operation due to an unrelated illness, he and his assistant were understanding and flexible, rescheduling for when would be most convenient for me. On the day of the operation, Bilal was at the hospital before I arrived and came to see me and again provide reassurance and clarity on what was happening. I next saw him in the anaesthetic area and I was in no doubt that I was in great hands. In the recovery area afterwards he was there making sure I was feeling as well as could be and then visited my room on both days post surgery to assess my progress and let me know his opinion. When I was in need of a repeat prescription for pain medication he was prompt and during my first post op consultation he was very encouraging, understanding and also clear on milestones I needed to hit. He also provided a sick note after discussing this with me. My last consultation was similar, and he first to say happy new year as well. I have a long way to go but I count myself lucky that I landed in the care of Bilal, and would recommend him to anyone with an acute knee condition.

I can’t recommend Debra highly enough as a physio. I had physio for my middle child 5 years ago with Debra and again with my now 10 month old baby. Debra is calm, patient, and so knowledgeable, which instantly put both me and my baby at ease. She has a wonderful way of engaging with babies, turning each session into something that feels more like play than therapy, while still being incredibly effective. She always takes the time to explain what she’s doing and how we can support our baby’s progress at home, which has been so reassuring as a parent. We’ve always seen such positive progress under her care, and I’m so grateful to have had her support. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Debra to any parent looking for a skilled, compassionate, and trustworthy paediatric physio.

After seeing several gynecologists, Mr Raza was at last the most reassuring and straight forward in explaining why having a robotic laparoscopic hysterectomy would be the best way forward for me. I am now 6 weeks post op and I am feeling great. I am continuing to be amazed by how small my scar is (2cm!). I would highly recommend Mr Raza to any women doubting whether to have the operation. Every person is different of course but he is so knowledgeable, kind and professional. Professional service received from both practitioners, which I am very pleased about. It however took longer than was communicated to me via email to receive my results. I have requested follow ups and to speak to someone. The administrator has added me to the waiting list for the follow up. My other request?? I have not heard anything for a long while, not even an update. I feel really disappointed because it has dampened such a great initial experience. I believe this aspect will be of disappointment to future clients. Such a shame. I recommend in future to keep clients informed when delays happen and or of any updates

My overall experience at the clinic was exceptional. When I first booked my appointment it was scheduled for a week later, but I asked whether there might be any cancellations before then. The team were incredibly helpful and thoughtful — they called me back and arranged for me to be seen the very same day. From start to finish, the service was efficient, compassionate, and reassuring. At what was a very anxious time for me, everyone I dealt with was kind, responsive, and professional. Nick from Physio Jack Studios was really great. I had what I thought was a typical calf strain but all the standard treatments from another physio did not heal it. 4 weeks out from a marathon, I was unable to run 1km without pain. Nick went through a very thorough diagnostic appointment, corrected my diagnosis to an overloading issue at a specific calf/achilles muscle complex and guided me through multiple plyometric exercises and a progressive running plan to allow me to finish the marathon in 3hrs 40mins. Could not recommend him highly enough, super knowledgeable, detailed and passionate 👍

Dr Charlotte Frise is an excellent doctor. Despite the multiple complications I had, she had time for me even when she was off duty. She saw me through until I sailed through. I was never afraid at any point even when I couldn’t breathe and had oxygen of 80% on room air, I was motivated. Her smile was always soothing and reassuring, it felt like family. She treats patients like family and it’s heartwarming in difficult times. I begin to tear up when I express how I feel about the care she gave me. Am very impressed and grateful for her services. The NHS is blessed to have doctors like her.

I attended Spire Leicester for surgery to repair a rectus femoris tendon rupture. Mr. Aujla was totally transparent and very detailed in explaining the whole process. The end to end communication was excellent and very reassuring. On the day of surgery, the admission process was superb and Mr Aujla bedside manner was superb. It made me feel that I was in good hands. Post surgery Mr Aujla came to see me to make sure I was comfortable and in no pain. I remained in contact with Mr Aujla in my recovery period. My recovery has been excellent and I would recommend Mr Aujla to anyone.

I could understand what the Professor was saying and I think he could understand me. This has not always in the case at Chesterfield hospital. I felt comfortable in his presence which meant that I could explain my concerns easily and I felt he listened. Only after a short time I felt I could trust him. I was very surprised to learn that he did not consider me to have a prolapse. I only wish Professor Radley could have identified the specific reason for me having all these UTIs.
