Dr. Owais Kadwani is a Consultant in Respiratory and General Medicine at Guy's and St Thomas’ Hospital NHS Trust, where he leads the pleural service. A graduate of University College London Medical School, he qualified with distinction in Clinical Science and Clinical Practice. Dr. Kadwani trained in Respiratory Medicine in the North West London deanery, gaining experience at renowned institutions including The Royal Brompton, Hammersmith, and St Mary's Hospitals. Dr Kadwani was very informed, professional and friendly. He listened carefully to my concerns and addressed all of them. He explained all of his reasoning carefully to me, showing me all of my test results and giving me the opportunity to ask questions. I felt reassured throughout. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
I had a chronic cough for 3 months and saw various doctors with different medicines. Dr Kadawi booked in every test needed and managed to identify a specific virus and prescribed the proper meds. Within 4 days, already stopped coughing and getting clearer. Can't thank him enough for the proper diagnosis and professional approach.
Dr Kadwani was fantastic - extremely thorough and knowledgable, and very clear about options and next steps. He’s very friendly and approachable and takes care to explain everything carefully. He was also very responsive when I had questions between my appointments, and I felt very well supported. I feel very confident in his expertise, and I would recommend him highly.
I came to see Dr Kadwani as I was worried about an ongoing cough which I had for almost 2 months with concerns it may be asthma. He was extremely patient and listened to my concerns and organised all the appropriate tests to investigate things further. He answered all my queries with clear explanations. I felt reassured as had been quite worried for weeks and satisfied with all the tests he had arranged. I would definitely recommend him and would go back to see him if needed in the future.
