Whilst time waiting to see Mr Khan was very quick , if I'd arrived any later I wouldn't have completed my check in and, I arrived more than the recommended 15 mins early more staff on reception required plus I don't think self checking in on tablets helps , whilst fine for me others clearly needed help.After seeing Mr Khan I needed follow up appointments for a scan and,blood/urine tests . Having waited at 1 reception for 15 minutes area to make an appointment for the tests to be brusquely told to go and make my scan appointment as it "Would save time" .When I'm 2 away from the desk don't think it was about saving my time.Then wait at the radiology department reception for another 15 minutes as only 1 person on reception, told they'll need to check with the radiologist and, would call me today as yet they haven't. Return to main outpatient reception to book tests and, amazingly I've now got 6 people in front of me ...finally get to the desk to be told can't do blood test as no one there to do them .Now had there been but because of time wasted there no longer was ? Not impressed by The Spire on this occasion, Mr Khan yes , but everything else no .

Mr Aemn Ismail

Under Mr Ismail’s care, I underwent a full hysterectomy alongside removal of my ovaries and a large cyst, by keyhole. Someone was looking over me when I found Mr Ismail; I feel incredibly lucky that he was my Consultant, and words really don’t do his skill or personality justice. Mr Ismail truly sets the benchmark for patient care and he sets it high. He is kind, empathetic, patient and, above all, human. He has a natural ability to put you at ease, which meant I felt completely comfortable discussing all aspects of my symptoms, treatment options and concerns with him. He always had time for me; I never once felt rushed and, most importantly, I always felt genuinely listened to. Mr Ismail is clearly exceptionally skilled in his craft, and it is evident how passionate he is about his speciality. His reputation precedes him, with every member of the medical staff I encountered speaking of him with the highest regard. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

We decided to visit them after reading their positive reviews and wanted to give it a try. After reviewing my test results, they recommended a three-month course of treatment. The instructions and cooking process were clear and easy to follow. After completing the three months of treatment, I went for another test and was delighted to learn that my FSH levels had gone down, which felt unbelievable and made us extremely happy. That said, I would have liked to learn more about my TCM diagnosis and what it meant, as this was not really explained to me. This was a bit disappointing, as I was genuinely interested—especially considering the cost of the consultations. Communication and transparency could have been better in this regard. However, Professor Au did call us to reassure us whenever he felt it was needed, which we appreciated. I would recommend them to anyone who is struggling with fertility and looking for support.

I recently had a hysterectomy with Mr Wassim Hassan, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. He made me feel completely at ease throughout the process, thoroughly explained everything in detail, and was incredibly patient—when I didn’t quite grasp the medical terminology, he rephrased it in simple, everyday language that I could easily understand. His skill and care during the procedure were outstanding, and my recovery has been straightforward. I also want to recognise his assistant Marie—she was superb! Always responsive, helpful, and reassuring, which made coordinating appointments and dealing with any questions so much less stressful. The combination of Mr Hassan’s expertise and Marie’s fantastic support made what could have been a daunting time feel manageable and even positive. Thank you both so much—I couldn’t recommend Mr Hassan and his team highly enough.

I normally don’t write reviews, I’m someone who feels that if you do your job well, there is no need. However I have just been been signed off for my second eye cataract surgery and would like to thank all those involved in bringing this about. It was a long haul as my second eye was so bad after an accident back in my teens that a lens had to be made specially to correct my vision. It took about six weeks to make, but I was kept informed of progress regularly. I have nothing but praise for the people who saw me throughout. From the security guys, reception and medical team, to the optometrists, the surgeon and of course Hannah. As my point of contact, Hannah was there to answer my questions and kept me up to date with progress. Once again thanks one and all. In the nicest possible way, I hope I don’t see you again for a long, long time.

I am so thrilled with my experience at Weymouth Street Hospital, London, after having had cataracts removed in both of my eyes, by Mr Hove of Blue Fin Vision. I can see clearly now, both distance and close up, reading, computer etc, etc.. ; no need for any glasses. Mr Hove is truly amazing - so caring, kind and professional. He explained everything to me in my assessment on Monday 8th December, in Chelmsford and actually had the operation in such a short time - Thursday 11th December! I am a new person now ! Doctor Carlos, the anesthetist, was also so kind and caring. I felt thoroughly at ease for my operation. Many, many thanks to everybody, including the kind nurse. My husband and I were both given a delicious meal afterwards, which was really appreciated - so welcome. Thank you very, very much for everything, everybody

The place was clean and warm, and it was lovely to see the residents walking about and engaging with the staff and me. Banksfield has always been an extremely welcoming home. The staff are always friendly and approachable. The home is clean and warm, and my mother's needs are always met. The management is easy to approach and speak with about any issues or concerns. They have dealt with recent difficult events with an extreme professional manner, and have reinforced my belief that my mother is in the right place, receiving the right care. I trust their judgement and feel there is a strong partnership between the staff and me to ensure my mother's every need is met.

I am so grateful to have found Miss Satherley. He not only diagnosed the cause of my symptoms but offered clear explanations to me of my difficulties and his recommended treatment. After just 2 months rehab, I am back to be able to walk for an hour a day, rejoin my Pilates classes and throw away the painkillers. Plus the scar has healed amazingly well. I had a check up and cleaning from the dentist Sonia. What a marvellous professional and friendly person. I am extremely nervous at dentist but Sonoa went above a beyond to make me at easy. She transmitted me calm and I'd never ever thought to feel calm at the dentist. I only hope she will not leave as well. I am so tired of OSD turnover of staff it's very stressful for me getting used to someone and than change it. I had a 2 level spinal fusion and decompression carried out in 2 stages to relieve my sciatica. Mr Molloy had been extremely thorough in his initial examination and identified a problem previously missed by another spinal surgeon. My operations have been a total success and I have no sciatica whatsoever. Mr Molloy was meticulous in organising and overseeing my recovery to ensure there were no complications. In my opinion he is a brilliant surgeon who looks beyond the operation in hand in order to mitigate problems that might otherwise occur at a later stage.

I was very happy with my treatment with everyone especially Wr Kamran Khan who I can’t recommend enough, he was friendly, assuring and also the lovely nurse who looked after me after my op. Anyone going for a cararact op this place is brilliant and everyone I came in contact with both times I was there I feel I couldn’t have had better.
