Dr. Patel has given me a new lease on life since my full hip replacement surgery. Both kind and professional throughout the whole procedure and beyond. Grateful to be living without pain. Thank you!
Last visit was for the 8 week check up following my full knee replacement surgery. Akash was his usual efficient self
Overall great experience. Everything explained clearly very step of the way.
Mr Patel is a brilliant consultant. He fit me in on a short notice and followed up outside of normal working hours to update us on the treatment plan at our request. Kind, caring and compassionate - would highly recommend to anyone else.
Mr Patel listened to everything I had to say and laid out all the options which he considered to be appropriate. He very carefully explained the procedure to me and ordered x rays and scans to create an accurate ‘picture’ of the problem before involving me in decisions regarding my treatment. After my procedure, he personally called me to make sure I was OK and explained what he had done. The follow up care was amazing; Mr Patel recommended physio to aid my recovery which really helped. At my follow up appointment with him he assessed my recovery and explained that I may need future treatment but made recommendations to help me delay that possibility. Due to his care and skill, my recovery was quick and remarkably pain free; I am now walking normally which I can’t thank him enough for.
My 6 week post op consultation and examination with Mr Patel was very professional and informative. It gave me much reassurance and encouragement going forward with my recovery
On first consultation to surgery and after-care has always been professional. I& very caring.
Mr Patel was most informative and explained and showed me pictures of my right hip, before and after. He also explained what I should do to further aid recovery and to care for my hip. He gave me confidence to carry out his instructions. Very helpful to me.
I am very grateful to Dr Patel for doing an amazing job on my knee surgery. Operation went very well and as a result excruciating pain in my knee has gone which completely changed my day to day life. Doctor was very kind and attentive. I would recommend Dr Patel to anyone who requires the surgery.
Mr Patel carried a hip replacement surgery on my left hip.He kept me informed of what the procedure would be like. The operation was a success .
Mr Akash Patel is a highly regarded orthopaedic surgeon with excellent clinical expertise in hip and knee conditions. I would be very pleased to recommend him to patients.
