Mr Patel is a brilliant consultant. He fit me in on a short notice and followed up outside of normal working hours to update us on the treatment plan at our request. Kind, caring and compassionate - would highly recommend to anyone else.

Mr Patel listened to everything I had to say and laid out all the options which he considered to be appropriate. He very carefully explained the procedure to me and ordered x rays and scans to create an accurate ‘picture’ of the problem before involving me in decisions regarding my treatment. After my procedure, he personally called me to make sure I was OK and explained what he had done. The follow up care was amazing; Mr Patel recommended physio to aid my recovery which really helped. At my follow up appointment with him he assessed my recovery and explained that I may need future treatment but made recommendations to help me delay that possibility. Due to his care and skill, my recovery was quick and remarkably pain free; I am now walking normally which I can’t thank him enough for.

Mr Patel was most informative and explained and showed me pictures of my right hip, before and after. He also explained what I should do to further aid recovery and to care for my hip. He gave me confidence to carry out his instructions. Very helpful to me.
