From the very first appointment, I felt truly listened to and understood by Dr. Kurkar. He approached my assessment without any pre-conceptions, creating a safe space where I felt empowered to share my full story honestly. What stood out most was his ability to recognise that my hyperactivity was more internal than external—something that could have easily been overlooked. His careful listening and thoughtful guidance made all the difference. Receiving my ADHD diagnosis has been genuinely life-changing. Since then, I’ve made so many positive changes that actively help me manage my ADHD symptoms, and I’ve never felt more aligned with my true self. At follow-up appointments, Dr. Kurkar continues to take a holistic approach. He doesn’t just see me through the lens of ADHD, but also considers my overall wellbeing, including hormones and perimenopause. This has helped me feel understood as a whole person, not just a diagnosis. I know not everyone has the same experience or outcome, and I feel very fortunate that Dr. Kurkar’s kindness, empathy, and professionalism made such a difficult process validating rather than overwhelming. If it wasn’t for his supportive approach, I may never have felt comfortable enough to be open about my experiences. Thanks to him, I feel seen, validated, and able to move forward with a clearer understanding of myself.

I was seen by a young male dentist (apologies, he did tell me but I can't recall his name and it isn’t listed on the website – perhaps he is new). He was professional, informative, and efficient throughout my appointment. As I’m allergic to local anaesthetics, fillings can be particularly uncomfortable, but he was very reassuring and took great care, as did the dental nurse. By far, this has been the best service I’ve experienced at the practice to date. My only critique is not directed at the dentist himself, but rather the practice’s policy. Over the past couple of years, I’ve noticed that patients cannot book a filling replacement directly without first having a pre-booking consultation. This essentially doubles both the cost and the time needed off work. In my case, a chipped filling was causing pain due to decay, and it was obvious that a replacement filling was required. I had to insist several times when booking that I did not need a pre-assessment, only a filling appointment. Given that I am a private patient and a silver filling costs almost £200, being charged for an unnecessary pre-booking simply to confirm what is already evident feels unreasonable.

I underwent a septorhinoplasty at the end of April 2025 to correct a deviated septum sustained after a fall. From the outset, the process was seamless. Julia, Mr. Bast’s secretary, was extremely helpful and arranged an appointment for me within just a few weeks. At my consultation, Mr. Bast was welcoming, professional, and thorough. He carefully assessed my skin and facial structure, and we discussed my goals for the rhinoplasty in detail. I felt truly listened to, reassured by his advice, and confident in proceeding with the surgery. It has now been nearly five months since the operation, and I am very pleased with the outcome. I experienced minimal bruising, and the aftercare and guidance I received have been exemplary. While the first few months of recovery were challenging, Mr. Bast was always accessible to address my concerns and arrange face-to-face reviews when necessary. Overall, my experience has been extremely positive, and I am delighted with both the care I received and the results of the surgery.

I had a really positive and pleasant experience with the radiographers. There were two of them and they were both very friendly, helpful, patient, careful, knowledgeable and extremely professional. I was very happy with their care. What I was not happy about was the service from the MRI/Scan receptionists, this is the second time I’ve done a scan and each time the receptionists were not friendly, they we’re extremely direct showing no empathy and welcoming presence. They seemed busy with the conversation they were having with each other so I have found on both occasions their service has been very poor. The first time I assumed it was a one off but after experiencing it for the second time I feel it’s necessary to provide the feedback so something can be done about it.

I was admitted in an emergency under a consultant physician. I had an infection with dehydration.The admission procedure was very calming and welcoming.. The nursing staff were so friendly and my initial care was exactly what was needed to start my treatment and recovery. The consultant had sent a plan of action which was put into action immediately. All very professional, no fuss and reassuring. My room was very comfortable, all I needed for my needs. Catering was similarly a high standard, good menu and choice as to my appetite and ability to eat. All the staff were great and responded very quickly if needed. I was very impressed with my care and the attention I received. The attitude of everyone was just what was required to get me better.

Mr Bhandari had a kind reassuring bedside manner noticing I was nervous before my procedure but easily calmed my nervousness by his genuine reassurance. Explained everything to me in my language rather than medical language before my procedure too. Even during my procedure spoke to me explaining what he could see showing me exactly the area he was talking about on screen. Very gentle in my most sore painful areas and advising me to take pain relief via gas n air in time. I shall not hesitate sharing any further concerns if needed and woukd not like to be booked in with any other surgeon. I also would like yo thank all the staff on duty that day too. My expectations have been managed well each step of the way, my questions answered fully, and the treatment has been carried out skilfully and meticulously. I'm really pleased with the outcome of my treatment and couldn't recommend him more. I'm really grateful to him and his team for taking such great care of me :)

I had lens replacement surgery with Mr Hove and it was honestly the best experience I've had with any medical professional. He spared no effort in explaining the procedure, ensuring I had all my questions answered, that I was comfortable with what each step would be. From the phone call the night before to answer any other questions I might have to the experience in the surgery, to the great tunes to distract me and a nice meal to fill me up afterwards, it was all top notch. I went in for an initial consultation to figure out my options and within a month, I had my vision back again. I'm so happy I decided to go through with it, it's been a life changer.

My wife is in hospital for an operation today and due to prior anxieties over NHS treatment, we asked the hospital for me to stay with my wife in the room throughout including overnight. They have been most accommodating and have bent over backwards to make it work and kept me fully informed throughout how the operation is going. The consultant was more than happy for me to ask questions both during consultations and the surgery today and has given great confidence that all will go as planned. Ward staff have been more than helpful to both of us and treated us as individuals and my wife has been provided a high level of care throughout.

Thursday afternoon visit, the surgery did not adjust to be that busy, arrived before my appointment time but still had to wait till after my scheduled time before being seen. Cat was blocked in when I be wanted to leave and I requested for the owner to move their vehicle as I had other engagements scheduled. No sense of urgency amongst the staff it appreciation that my time is as valuable as theirs. Managed to manoeuvre my car out whilst waiting so impact was not as bad as if I had waited for the other to move their vehicle but it was irritating.
