I recently underwent an AMIS (Anterior Minimally Invasive Surgery) hip replacement with Mr Tsialogiannis, and the entire experience—from the very first consultation to my full recovery—has been nothing short of exceptional. During the initial assessment, he took the time to explain every detail of the procedure, addressed all my concerns with patience, and reassured me with his calm, confident manner. I felt fully informed and in the safest of hands. The day of surgery was equally impressive. The operation itself was smooth, and the team made me feel comfortable throughout. What amazed me most was how little discomfort I felt afterwards. From the very first steps in hospital, my recovery progressed rapidly, far beyond what I ever expected. Within just two and a half weeks, I was already driving again—completely pain-free and without any sense of stiffness or hesitation. It genuinely felt like a miracle to regain my mobility so quickly. The aesthetic result has also exceeded my expectations. The incision is remarkably small and discreet, and the overall look is incredibly tidy—almost invisible already. I cannot thank Mr Tsialogiannis enough. His skill, precision, and compassion have truly transformed my quality of life.

I had worried previously about the need for this procedure, not knowing the risks and outcomes. However, the online information provided ahead of the procedure was detailed and comprehensive, so I knew exactly what to expect. I have known Mr Hemmerdinger for many years, and had confidence in his ability, so I was not at all worried on the day. He gave me so much time to reconsider and mentally prepare, that I worried about holding up his other patients! I really appreciated this. The procedure was not in the least daunting. It seemed to me like paintballing, with flashes of green light. There was no discomfort, apart from a headache from the pilocarpine drops administered in advance, and blurred vision for a while. I waited after the procedure for half an hour to allow time for recovery, after which the eye pressure had reduced. I was particularly reassured by access to the online advice again later, to double check what I should know, and to note and follow up any queries. My only query was promptly answered by email. In all, this was a very positive experience. I wait to learn whether the procedure was effective, but have no qualms now about repeating it in the future, if necessary.

I had a really positive experience at The Harborne Hospital. I was greeted warmly on arrival and was actually seen before my appointment time, which was very much appreciated. My consultant Mr Leung truly listened to me and took the time to understand the full picture of how I’ve been feeling. He was extremely thorough, and for the first time in a long while, I left feeling hopeful — hopeful not only that my pain can be better managed, but also that I may finally get a clear diagnosis of what is actually happening to me. I really appreciated how carefully and thoughtfully everything was explored. Every member of staff I met was kind, professional, and supportive. The level of care and compassion shown throughout my visit was outstanding. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this service.

I booked a consultation with Daleswood Aesthetics online and attended to discuss one of their treatments (Emsella). The treatment was explained fully and I booked a course of six treatments. I have had two treatments so far and I am very impressed with the level of service and how professional all of the team are. They pay attention to detail and ensure your experience with them is outstanding. The treatment rooms are clean, modern and impressive. The treatments they offer are leading edge and deliver results. After two sessions, I am already seeing results. They have a large waiting room and a good size car park. They have thought of everything to make your visit as easy and welcoming as possible. The Manor Hospital appeared clean, pleasant environment and staff were friendly. There is however one major issue - Car Parking. I nearly missed my appointment despite arriving 35 minutes prior. The car park does not appear adequate for the volume of patients and staff. A vehicle had been parked and blocked the car park, presumably because they thought were going to miss their appointment. This was resolved by creating a one way system which finally allowed me to, by luck, get a space. As an improvement it might be good if when booking, the booker tells the patient of possible alternative car parks in the area that they might have to use?

Dr Maithili Srikantha

Dr Srikantha is a sincere, honest, and fundamentally integrity-driven specialist. Her conduct during the consultation and her bedside manner is among some of the best I have experienced (as someone with a complex medical profile , I have seen a number of specialists!). It is not common, if not rare, for someone with my clinical profile to receive a letter that articulates details with such accuracy and shows active listening to matters of concern to me. Dr Srikantha is gracious, humble, but most importantly deeply human in her approach - these are traits that sometimes feel absent from clinical care.

I have just had private cataract surgery at Newmedica Norwich, it was an exemplary experience, the staff were so welcoming and the surgeon, Mr Anas Injarie fully explained the procedure and delivered an amazing result. I no longer need contact lens, which I have been wearing for 50 years. Two months earlier Newmedica removed the cataract in my other eye under the NHS. That was a wonderful experience , going private for my remaining eye gave me the flexibility of appointment dates and a premium lens for the best possible vision. I now regret delaying the surgery, I now have two new eyes.

the appointment for my adhd assessment was online so I can’t comment on the cleaness of the office. The difficult part of this process was trying to keep track of the forms and how many questions you had to answer on a form without being able to save as you go along or being able to print them off and take your time to remember the examples. It would be great to have a checklist on screen that showed which forms you had completed and which ones were still left to do. The assessor put me at ease, she explained everything clearly.

No problems with check in or with the meeting with Mr Krkovic. However the hospital is showing signs of neglect. The loo in the corridor outside Trinity Suite had no paper towels and and a completely overflowed waste bin. The coffee machine in Trinity was broken in October and is still broken in January. The former quite serious, the latter not serious but to be not fixed over so many months suggests neglect and that always raises the possibility that things I can't see are also neglected. SIte management needs shake-up.
