I cannot thank Mr Nick Elkington enough for the outstanding care and surgical skill he showed during my laparoscopic hysterectomy on 5th December 2025 at Frimley Park Hospital. From the outset, his calm, professional and reassuring confidence made me feel I was completely in the best possible hands. Despite concerns that my tumour might rupture, the surgery went perfectly — it did not burst as predicted, and I was able to have keyhole surgery with minimal wounding, which has healed beautifully. Mr Elkington combines exceptional technical ability with genuine care and compassion. He explains things clearly, honestly and without any unnecessary fluff — just down-to-earth facts delivered with kindness and respect. His approach inspired total trust and gave both me and my family immense reassurance at a very difficult time. The set-up was scruffy/down at heel. The reception staff appeared weary, little interaction and certainly no putting anyone at ease. The approach to the outside of the building is unwelcoming and unclear. Far too many stairs with no assistance offered or given. No courteous instructions, no graciousness. The waiting room was full of materials to be used in decorating/ construction …. Maybe they thought the over large, badly adhered to the wall TV playing the same continuous “Winter” loop made up for feeling very much an inconvenience. One of the most annoying things is when you explain you’re deaf they say and they did “Oh we’ll speak loudly.” Empathy dictates clarity and pace NOT volume ( training needed in several areas ) seats in waiting area uncomfortable - nowhere to place/rest anything.

Mr Tibrewal and his team have given me care and attention that went beyond my expectations. I had been suffering for years with pains in my right knee. I had been misdiagnosed twice by NHS and another privately funded surgeon. Within 30 seconds of my appointment with Mr Tibrewal said “I know what’s wrong with you, take a seat”. (Long story short my ACL in my right knee was torn completely from an old rugby injury). I knew after that I was in the best of hands with him. I would highly recommend Mr Larholt for surgery. He is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain all of my options and the procedure clearly, which made me feel confident and reassured throughout the process. The surgery on my foot itself was excellent, the incisions were very neat, the stitching was precise, and scarring has been minimal. I am very pleased with the results and the overall standard of care. I will absolutely be using Mr Larholt again in the future when I need further surgery on my other foot.

The facilities were clean and well maintained, but the waiting time could be quite long at times. The restroom was clean; however, the lighting is motion-activated. When I remained in a private stall for an extended period of time, the lights turned off automatically, and I had to exit the stall in complete darkness, which was quite frightening. I believe this needs improvement.

Really efficient check in process with plenty of staff on hand to help with the online check in. Limited wait time, everything was very efficient. I managed to find a parking space but when I was leaving I could see that lots of people were driving round looking for one so I imagine parking to be a bit of an issue. But at least it's free!
