I was at St Josephs for a repair to the rotator cuff of my right shoulder. Admission was at 11:00 hrs and I was shown to a private room with ensuite bathroom, bed, easy chair and TV with Internet and Sky access. A nurse took a set of observations and both the surgeon and anaesthetist came in to discuss my surgery and confirm my consent. At 12:00 I walked in gown and slippers to the operating theatre and once on the operating table I was connected to various monitors. A pre med drug was injected via a canula on the back of my right hand. At 13:00hrs I woke up in the recovery room with the operation complete. After a short while my bed was wheeled back to my room. Further sets of observations were taken and later I was given my choice of post op snack and coffee. A physio came to see me and gave me a sheet of recommended exercises. At 19:00 my daughter arrived to take me home. I was happy with all aspects of the day.

I visited the doctor for my child, who was experiencing muscle pain in his chest whenever he got tired during physical training. From the very beginning, the doctor was polite, friendly, and extremely professional. He explained each part of the diagnosis step by step and clearly outlined what he planned to do throughout the treatment. He carefully drilled down into every test to identify the root cause, which gave me a lot of confidence. He was very patient and thorough, making sure everything was clearly understood before moving forward. He also created a safe and comfortable space for parents to ask questions and answered every single question with great patience and clarity. Overall, he is a complete professional who provides confidence and hope. I am extremely satisfied with the exceptional care and support he provided for my child

I first saw Dr Seth two years ago and recently returned in October/November 2025. He’s exceptional at what he does, and absolutely worth waiting for. As always, he took the time to explain everything properly and map out a sensible plan and next steps. He’s also incredibly considerate in the way he coordinates directly with my physio, which removes any risk of miscommunication on my side. Not a good experience for me I’m afraid I was extremely nervous but this was kind of dismissed. The extraction took a very long time and was extremely uncomfortable and I was traumatised and shaking like a leaf. Wasn’t even offered to be able to sit down afterwards or asked if I was okay. I have since had terrible pain and rang the surgery to go back but they told me as the surgeon only comes in once a week which I didn’t know I had to go back to my own dentist which is a drive away. I’m on continual painkillers and Have been up half the night I will not be coming back to this Dentist.

Scheduled physio after knee replacement was excellent and good news as I had been doing all my exercises at home. The physiotherapist was very pleased with me and took my crutches away from me. The team at Spencer Margate managed to co-ordinate this visit with seeing my surgeon as I had a query about my new knee which resulted in all clear verdict until my next appointment with the surgeon (Mr Slack) and my next physio nearer Christmas. This was my first visit to the Woodlands Hospital Kettering.I have now seen Mr Shukla on three occasions and each time he has been extremely welcoming and professional .He is always on time and provides a clear and precise explanation on what is required and when. My only comment about the Woodlands is that parking, is extremely limited and needs to be looked at.No one likes to be put under pressure as no alternative parking seems to be available in the vicinity.
