Mr Ian Chilcott is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 20 years of experience, offering private consultations at The Portland Hospital in Central London and Bishops Wood Hospital in Northwood.
Having qualified from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School in 1993 and worked as a Consultant since 2005, Mr Chilcott brings a wealth of expertise to every appointment. He cares for women at all stages of life — from those navigating a first pregnancy to those requiring complex gynaecological surgery.

We had Mr Chilcott’s support throughout the pregnancy, ultimately concluding in an elective c-section that he performed. We couldn’t have asked to have been better looked after. He was always highly responsive to any concerns and available quickly with guidance. The c-section itself went smoothly. Despite it being major surgery, Mr Chilcott and his team were very reassuring with their approach and now we have a beautiful baby boy who is healthy and happy.
Dr Chilcott looked after me exceptionally well and made me feel comfortable, reassured, and fully informed about the procedure. HIs professionalism, kindness, and calm manner helped ease any anxiety I had. I felt confident that I was in excellent hands and received outstanding care at every stage. I am very grateful to Dr Chilcott and his team and would highly recommend him.

It’s very difficult to know where to start when trying to find a consultant. Mr Chilcott is fortunately an excellent choice. Highly experienced, professional and will do what is best for you. Everything you could ask for and more.
