I am writing to formally complain about misleading advertising by the clinic Skin55. Their website led me to believe that laser treatments were available at the clinic, and I booked a consultation directly with the clinic, not with any specific doctor. However, upon attending the appointment, I was informed that the clinic did not have the required laser equipment and that not all doctors at Skin55 perform laser treatments. This discrepancy meant that I paid an initial consultation fee of £300, only to then be told that I would need to be referred to another doctor within the same clinic who does provide laser treatments. This second consultation was then quoted at £380. This sequence of events highlights a lack of transparency and constitutes misleading advertising, resulting in unnecessary expenses and inconvenience. I believe that this matter warrants investigation to ensure that Skin55’s practices align with advertising and consumer-protection regulations. I am prepared to provide supporting documentation upon request

I went to my optician thinking that the problem with my right eye was to do with a cataract. It was not. It was a detached retina. It was referred to Queen Mary's Hospital on Wednesday by my.optician as a matter of urgency .They initially said that due 3 week period I had left things very little could be done. However on the Friday I got a call from Kings to attend that afternoon. I did and saw Dr. Neffendorf. He explained exactly what was wrong. How he thought that despite time lapse, my fault, he thought something could be done. 70 to 80.percent chance of success. Went for preop on Monday and had surgery the next day. Since then every day the eyesight has got a little better. I owe Dr Neffendorf sight in my right eye. I will be eternally grateful. Throughout the process Dr Neffendorf has been excellent explaining what to do at every stage of recovery. Just brilliant.

My original appointment was with Mr Kamran Saha, as it was thought that I had a which Mr Saha confirmed it was not but rather a cyst. As this was not his expertise, he referred me to Miss Swan Kang who confirmed it was a cyst and arranged an excision. During the procedure Miss Kang noticed a second cyst next to the big one which she also removed and sent both off for biopsies. Amazingly 6 days later there are no visible signs of any incisions apart from some slight redness in the area. I am super happy with the results and grateful to Mr Saha for referring me to Miss Kang. I was also very impressed by Robyn for taking care of all the underlying preparations for both consultations and the minor op which took less than 2 days to complete!!! Kudos to Robyn for managing everything so swiftly and efficiently.

I was seen by Dr Heggy and a lovely staff nurse Charlotte. Dr Heggy was fantastic he actually listened to me. He listened to exactly how I was and had been feeling. I'd been told by another Dr that there was nothing that could be done so I had to see someone for pain management. I'm in pain everyday and just wanted a resolution or at least pin point what could be wrong. Dr Heggy really made me feel heard and suggested other things before we gave up and just give me medication for my pain. Nurse Charlotte was fantastic. While Dr Heggy was looking things up and trying to find other options Charlotte spoke to me like an actual human. So thank you to Dr Heggy and nurse Charlotte for your time and patience with me. It's very much appreciated

The overall experience was excellent. As an NHS patient I felt I waited too long which affected my mental health and mobility, this wait has impacted on my recovery. I would have waited even longer if I hadn’t gone to my GP and asked for my operation to be escalated. The whole process took six months of physio initial NHS xray took a further 5 months to see the consultant then a further 4 and a half months for op. This has been a nightmare. I am however extremely appreciative of my operation and the treatment I have received during my stay at Hoarders. Also on the discharge sheet I was given a number to call for worries and questions once I got home this number was however not answered and my answer phone message was not called back.

My experience was very disappointing with the consultant. I was happy for my appointment to be changed just before attending due to the consultant running late. I was very disappointed with the lack of interest and time shown to be by the consultant. I got 10 minutes of his time to be told to cut out caffeine at the cost of £250. I was hoping to receive some understanding of what could be causing recurrent UTI's and reassuring me of any fears of anything sinister i.e bladder cancer. Only to be told this only occurs for around 10/20% of cases. I think what really irked me was he looked at his watch part way through me speaking This I found very disrespectful and rude.

I had a shoulder injury and having worked with KT before I knew that I needed to see her before it got any worse! After the initial consultation KT diagnosed it as bursitis. She gave me different exercises to help with the range of shoulder movement. KT liaised with my PT so that he was clear about what exercises I should be avoiding for the time being in the PT sessions. KT really clearly explained what the exercises would be helping with and why I should be doing them. After about 5 sessions, with progressive exercises over the sessions, my shoulder feels SO much better. KT is really encouraging and motivating. Her knowledge and manner are exemplary!

For a patient who suffers from white coat syndrome. I was completely at ease with .my first consultation with Mr arulampalam. I was the same when he told me that he was willing to do my procedure. I had no concerns on the day if the operation. And I was completely happy that he was my surgeon. Of who I trust completely. I am also grateful for what he did for me . In removing tha pain that I had put up with for a long time. .

We went to see Mr Valsamakis about our newborns tongue tie. He was welcoming, friendly and professional. He talked us through our options and was gentle and caring with our newborn. When we decided to go ahead with divided the tongue tie he was made the procedure as painless and gentle as possible. He made sure we had a room to feed afterwards and came to check on us - I got the impression he genuinely carded about us and our newborn.

Steven is an amazing therapist. He is empathetic and skilful. He offers a highly adaptive approach and gives rooms for whatever the I brought to the sessions. He offers EMDR, cognitive behavioural and talking therapy. Steven is focused on developing skills that can be used in the future. I would recommend Steven to anyone that is looking for an experienced and empathetic therapist.

Send emails which are either not replied to or replied weeks later with no result. Would actively dissuade anyone from using Skylight as my experience has been appalling from the start

I have always had a phobia about dentist s having had bad experiences as a child. Although my phobia has not gone away I found the whole experience very calm. The receptionist with her friendly manner relaxed me straight away. The dentist has a calming manner also and did not push me from my comfort zone. Overall a good experience.
