We welcomed our healthy baby on January 11th, and we cannot thank Dr. Seni Subair ("Super Seni") and the team at The Portland Hospital enough for the experience. Living abroad in Dubai, managing a pregnancy and birth in London came with logistical challenges, but the care we received was outstanding from start to finish. We actually missed a few appointments due to our travel schedule, but the hospital was incredibly accommodating. They made sure we could come in at any time and always saw us without delay, which took a huge weight off our shoulders. A special mention must go to Mr. Seni Subair. He was absolutely fantastic. He didn’t just treat us like patients; he made us feel like proper family members. He put my wife at ease immediately, making her feel completely comfortable and safe throughout the entire process. His warmth, professionalism, and "Super Seni" energy turned what could have been a stressful time into a joyful one. If you are looking for a consultant who genuinely cares and a hospital that offers flexibility for international families, we highly recommend Mr. Subair and The Portland.

Mr Sayed Iqbal Miakhil

Mr Miakhil welcomed me warmly, asked me how I have been since having the procedure. I told him that I was feeling very well and I was very happy with the outcome following the operation. I also told him that I was sleeping much better and going to the toilet once or twice during the night, compared to waking up 6-7 times, which is what was happening before the operation. He then asked me if I had anything that I was worried about. So I asked him about having intimacy (sex) with my wife and that I was not getting firm erections. He assured me that things will improve gradually, so he prescribed Tadalafil 5mg tablets for me to take to help in this regard.

I have had various symptoms of perimenopause over the last year or so but it came to a head a few months ago when i had a severe panic attack and seemed to develop anxiety. I am finding this difficult to cope with and the GP didn't seem to help me. I met with Dr Colquhoun and she was lovely, provided me with alot of information and advice and took me and my symptoms seriously. As a result I now have a course of action and have had HRT prescribed and a coil fitted. Whilst this is all new to me, i am feeling very positive about this plan and hopeful that I can start to feel like myself again!

Professor Biswas has been absolutely wonderful Kind in his manner Very clear in his explanations Not pushing surgery, just patiently going through pros & cons & advising us in our situation But when we did decide to have surgery he has done a fantastic job. Feel very blessed to have had my daughter under his care. His secretary Grainne has also been so accommodating & very lovely & thé Orthoptist (forgive me I forgot your name) has also been absolutely brilliant - kind & thorough, patient with great explanations. It was great to be able to see Mr Steven Lau at the Spencer, although a great shame that the NHS does not recognise crossover between private and public services. I had paid £250 to see Mr Lau for the same consultation as I had on 7th January, meaning that I am no further along the path of accessing the treatment I’ve waited 21 months for. I am grateful, however, that I’m accessing private services via the NHS

Mr Achal Khanna

Returned for my 6 week follow-up post left side inguinal hernia repair on the 5th Jan. Text book recovery. Mr Khanna inspected the site and confirmed it was holding strong. I’ve returned to running +10k. Lifting weights in the gym. As of 17th Jan it feels great. Having to hold myself back for a few more weeks. No pain on any activity now. Mr Khanna has worked his magic.
