I've been under Mr Jenkins' care for almost two years now. Based on my own experience, and my recovery from pretty serious, life-changing surgery, he's an excellent, skilled surgeon. Before I got anywhere near an operating theatre, I was reassured by his thoroughness, his clear and sensitive communication, and his patience with my questions and concerns. In his follow up to my surgery, he has been both optimistic and cautious at the right times, and ensured that no stone has been left unturned to ensure good outcomes. Lastly, he's surrounded himself with good people, from his practice to the theatre. You can be confident that if he is working with someone, or recommending a referral, then you'll be in equally good hands.

I was scheduled day surgery on a Sunday and was told to report at Margate Hospital, St Peter’s Rd entrance. Being a Sunday, there was no one at Reception and although a sign said to go to another Reception, it was the wrong one. We asked someone who worked at the hospital and they did not know. Finally we found someone who did know and she directed us to the correct location. The appointment was for 12:30 (no food or drink prior) and the surgery didn’t actually take place until after 3pm. My opinion: 1. Not impressed with the directions and the scheduling; and 2. The surgeon and nurses were all absolutely wonderful, very efficient and professional, and made me feel confident that I was in good hands.

All staff, from reception to nurses and surgeons, I found to be friendly, courteous, helpful and professional. I was generally rather nervous about the whole process, this being the very first time I experienced any form of surgery or a stay in hospital. However, I was treated with the utmost respect and understanding and felt well advised at all times, allowing me to make informed decisions at my own pace, without being pressured. I had to wait a bit longer than I had anticipated for surgery but by comparison to the NHS, it was efficient and slick. It is early days to comment properly on my shoulder replacement but things are progressing well although slowly and I am hopeful for the future.

Although the appointment wasn't satisfactory for me because the doctor couldn't give me a second opinion on my back and neck pain since his specialty is lower extremities, he sent me for updated MRI exams so he could give me a responsible and accurate second opinion on my knee and ankle. I emailed the doctor and am waiting for him to reply with his diagnosis from the previous appointment so I can provide my employer with the information they need to continue helping me with the MRI costs and get positive results that will allow me to go to work without any health risks. Mr Green has carefully explained the procedure, answered my many questions and reassured me about any worries. From our first meeting I was impressed with his professionalism, attitude and knowledge. From my initial enquiry about Refractive Lens Replacement surgery, through my surgery and aftercare I have had excellent care from Vision Scotland. Everything was clearly explained and the surgery has left me with the desired result, 20/20 vision with no glasses needed. The only (slight) negative difference here is a greater need for good light when reading at night or close work. The procedure was pain free and I have had no complications. I am looking forward to enjoying the results for (I hope) many years to come. Thank you to all staff involved with my care.

So I decided to see Ms Haque due to some gynae concerns. Within 10 days I had an ultrasound, Hysteroscopy, MRI and follow up appointment. Ms Haque was amazing throughout, very knowledgeable and very thorough in her investigations. She performed the hysterectomy herself with local anesthetic and took biopsies. The whole procedure was very efficient. In the follow up appointment she was very reassuring and explained the details of the reports with care and kindness. Thank you Ms Haque ,I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone with gynaecological concerns.

Paid privately for Hip Replacement, initial appointment was disappointing with an hour wait, and a non interested surgeon. A few blips along the way, upon arrival on surgery day, they had me down for a knee replacement not hip, staff on night shift not the friendliest, and thet x rayed the incorrect hip after the surgery. Day shift were great and surgery went well. I will say I expected more for paying privately however the main thing I've had my surgery instead of the ridiculous wait time on the nhs.

The staff at the hospital were all very friendly, helpful and efficient. They understood the importance of admission for surgery to the patient and were very supportive. All of the clinical and medical staff were first class, but the support staff were also excellent. The room was clean and comfortable and I was well looked after. The menu options were very good and the food was delicious. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending this excellent hospital.
