It all went very well. The staff were all very friendly and professional. The only thing I found time consuming and wasteful, of paper, was that I kept being asked about allergies, 3 times by 3 different people who recorded it on three different forms! This is despite it being on my medical records. I also found the wait of 3 hours a bit annoying, in for noon, Op, at 3.30 a bit annoying. However once started it all went well. and I was helpfully kept informed throughout by Mr Coombs. Emma was also comforting with her comments and assistance. The only thing I might change if I came in again is to have a light sedative with the epidural as it was very frustrating to want to change the position of your legs and feet and find that you can't for obvious reasons. Mr Coombs moved them for me but of course I could not feel the move! The two nurses that looked after me for the last hour or so up to discharge were very patient, caring, thoughtful and helpful, I wanted to get up and get home and they told me and showed me when I tried to get up that I was definitely not ready, and kindly told me to be patient - they were very good and I liked them both. All from Mr Coombs downwards made the process and outcome very satisfactory. I was up this morning walking the dog. Kind regards A.H.

Mr Frame has been my breast cancer consultant for the past year. He has the ability to make you feel at ease straight away. He is friendly, compassionate and approachable. He was clear with his explanation of my diagnosis, listened to my concerns, gave me all the information I needed and I felt part of the decision making for my treatment. I felt like a person rather than just a number in the system. He referred me to the genetics department after my cancer diagnosis, where I found out I carried the Bcra2 gene mutation. I have had surgery to remove my cancer and also at a later date had preventative surgery on my other breast. I have had a lumpectomy and SNB. A skin sparing bilateral mastectomy with immediate expandable implant reconstruction, as I choose to go larger. Bilateral implant exchange to silicone implants. I am extremely happy with the results. My new boobs look amazing and feel so natural. I am so pleased he was my breast consultant.

I had two day surgery appointments for cataract removal and lens implants, two weeks apart. The first appointment was very straightforward from walking through the door to post operative discharge. The second appointment was less straightforward: despite me being first on the day’s list there was a long wait before my pre-operative assessment. When I was being prepped before going into theatre, the atmosphere in the room was not calm and reassuring, unlike the first time. There was sometimes discomfort during the procedures of anaesthetic and application of the opthalmic speculum, the latter of which has left me with a markedly arched eyebrow on that side, which is only returning to normal after nearly two weeks. As a result I felt tense entering the theatre. Everyone in the theatre was calm and reassuring however, and I was quickly put at ease. I had a positive post operative experience before being allowed home.

This was my second operation here but unfortunately not a great experience. I never met my actual consultant before or after the op. The anaesthetist wasn't very re assuring as I was very nervous. He was abrupt and very rough and the epidural was dreadful compared to my first one which I never felt. The nursing staff were excellent which was lovely when you're feeling rough but I'm afraid the experience this time was totally different and quite disappointing. I had retention of urine problems following the op and numbness still across my lower back. After finding a hip replacement forum apparently many people have bladder problems following the operation. I find it strange that this is not mentioned as a possibility before the operation. After my very successful knee replacement I was hoping for the same this time however this was not the case which is quite upsetting considering the cost.

We visited this clinic for our immigration medical examination, and I have to say—it was a surprisingly pleasant experience! The entire process was incredibly efficient, and as a family of three, we were seen and fully processed within just 1.5 hours. This was especially appreciated as we have a 9-week-old baby, so getting home earlier than expected was a huge plus. The doctors and reception staff were all very friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. A special mention to the team for noticing we had accidentally booked an extra test—they issued a refund automatically without us even having to ask. How amazing is that? Highly recommended service!

I paid for treatment myself at Clare Park and naturally I would therefore expect the very best. The consultants and nursing staff were outstanding in all respects on each of the three occasions that I have visited Clare Park over the course of the last two years. Administratively and with several minor issues that I have brought to management's attention, I would not choose to use this hospital. It seems too cottagy. I prefer Frimley Park Hospital as being far more professional. They were all minor issues but then as a paying customer, I expect excellence.

An excellent experience considering getting a tooth extraction . All of the staff were great . Efficient and caring and put me at ease . The extraction was tricky but confidently and expertly handled by Fiona and her assistant . I was provided with good instructions and medications for the aftercare and had no problems . I did have to wait longer than I wanted to get an appointment but it was holiday season and a specialist appointment . Well worth it and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.,
