Dr Gosia Wamil is a Consultant Cardiologist with expertise in the management of inherited cardiomyopathies, heart failure, hypertension, diabetic heart disease, multimorbid cardiac cases, and heart valve diseases. Dr Wamil centres her practice around holistic, individualised patient care. She sees private patients at the Mayo Clinic Healthcare and Nuffield Health The Manor Hospital.

Dr Wamil earned her primary medical qualification in 2003. She was then awarded a fellowship by the British Heart Foundation, during which she trained at the University of Edinburgh and worked towards her Master's and PhD in Cardiovascular Sciences. Upon completion, Dr Wamil undertook further clinical training in cardiology and cardiac imaging at the University of Oxford, where she gained expertise in utilising specialised cardiac imaging techniques to manage complex cardiac conditions. Upon completing her training at Oxford in 2017, Dr Wamil was appointed Consultant Cardiologist at the Great Western Hospital Trust. Dr Wamil leads the Cardiac MRI imaging service at her trust and is highly regarded as an expert in multi-modality cardiac imaging. She is known for her cardiac MRI, cardiac CT and advanced echocardiography expertise and can often combine them in transformational ways to treat complex cardiovascular cases.

She has received multiple awards for her academic excellence, including fellowships and grants from organisations such as the British Heart Foundation, the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging and the European Society of Cardiology. Besides her clinical career, Dr Wamil is also a clinician scientist with research experience from molecular biology and drug development projects to large-scale clinical trials.
