Dr. Gosia Wamil is a Consultant Cardiologist with many years of experience in the treatment and management of the inherited cardiomyopathies, heart failure, hypertension, high-risk cardiac cases, and heart valve disease pathology. Dr. Wamil centers her practice around holistic, individualized patient care and sees private patients at Mayo Clinic Healthcare and Nuffield Health The Manor Hospital.

Dr. Wamil earned her primary medical qualification at the Akademia Medyczna w Warszawie in 2003, after which she undertook her basic training. She was then awarded a fellowship by the British Heart Foundation, during which she trained at the University of Edinburgh and worked towards her Master's and Ph.D. in Cardiovascular Sciences. Upon completion, Dr. Wamil undertook further training at the University of Oxford, where she gained knowledge and expertise in the management of heart failure, utilising techniques such as echocardiography, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging, and cardiac CT. Upon completion of her training at Oxford, Dr. Wamil earned her medical doctorate and was appointed Consultant in 2017 at the Great Western Hospital Trust.

Since her Consultant appointment, Dr. Wamil has since gone on to lead the Cardiac imaging service at her trust, in addition to becoming a member of the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence committee. On this Committee, Dr. Wamil assists in conducting cardiology research and has also published numerous peer-reviewed articles.
