had a right knee replacement with Mr. Sam Rajaratnam just over two weeks ago on 3rd November 2025, and what I had feared would be a difficult and painful operation turned out to be completely painless. Sam is extremely kind, patient and reassuring — perfect for someone as nervous as I was. I had delayed doing this surgery for a year and a half and even cancelled the operation twice before finally going through with it! Mr. Rajaratnam has built an outstanding team, including an exceptionally experienced anaesthetist, Dr. Barry Philips; a kind and highly competent nurse consultant, Ms. Christine Howis; and an excellent senior physiotherapist, Felicitas Gatti, who visits me at home to guide my post-operative exercises. I was also extremely impressed by all the medical staff at the Cleveland Clinic hospital, who provided exceptional care throughout my stay. Whilst at the Cleveland, Sam visited me daily, and even came in today after my staples were removed to check on my progress. Mr. Rajaratnam’s expertise is evident—he has performed over 7,000 knee replacements—and the level of care and support I received was extraordinary. I was expecting a significant increase in pain once the stronger medication stopped a week after surgery, but to my surprise, I remained completely pain-free. I am extremely grateful to Sam and his wonderful team. I’ll be back for my other knee as soon as I’m up and running again!

As a Nervous patient about to have an Extraction..I was sitting In the waiting room Dreading every second The Receptionist was very nice and made me feel at ease Then after a very short wait ..the time had come for me to face my Fears.. As I sat in the chair the procedure was explained to me in full and the Dentist really made me feel Comfortable and at ease .. The first Extraction had taken place without me even being aware ..so no pain whatsoever Time for the second Extraction.. The Dentist asked me to rinse my mouth And I promise the second Extraction had already been carried out without me being aware ..completely pain free ..the dentist advised me that she should carry out a filling to another one of my teeth ..I was a bit reluctant..she cleaned the area and what I can only describe as her massaging the affected tooth the filling was carried out successfully.. I have a follow on Appointment in January And can Honestly say ..im looking forward to it Oh and to add ...when the Anesthetic wore off I experienced no pain or Discomfort whatsoever..and less than 24 hours later I sat down and enjoyed hot coffee With no Discomfort.... I can't thank you enough for your Treatment..and after 64 years ..im no longer a Nervous Patient Thank you

Dr Chloe’s caring personality shone through from my first consultation at Kingston Hospital on the NHS in August. I had been diagnosed with invasive lobular cancer in my left breast after a routine mammogram in May. Quite a shock, to say the least! Dr Chloe proved to be not only caring but incredibly thorough & professional. She immediately scheduled an MRI as my lesion had not shown up on the ultrasound. In the whirlwind of appointments which followed I felt completely supported by Dr Chloe & her team, my wonderful MacMillan nurse Janeetta Thomas & nurse Catherine Ronayne.. Both Janeetta & Catherine provided a reassuring presence during my consultations & Janeetta was always available to answer my many questions. Thankfully no other cancers were found and I could proceed to surgery. A short time later a smiling Chloe, Janeetta & Catherine delivered the results, the very best news, that the surgery had been successful & the cancer had been removed with clear wide margins. Despite the lesion being situated deep within my chest, Dr Chloe took the extra care to ensure I wouldn’t have a scar on my chest. I can still wear low cut dresses. I have a small scar next to my nipple which is healing very well. My husband and I are eternally grateful to Dr Chloe & her team.

His encouragement and attention to detail have made a noticeable difference in my recovery and my confidence. During one of my session, Lee even took me to the gym and guided me through three leg machines, explaining how this next stage will help me progress. His attention to detail and genuine concern made all the difference and he ensured I understood every step of my treatment. The entire Pixie and Sera team was extremely professional from scheduling either online or by phone to reception at the clinic. They all ensured I was seen within minutes on my appointment days. Keep up great job! Suggestion - If we could get appointments and at least tests and labs done over the weekends. Maybe half days on Saturdays? It is hard for some of us to come on weekdays hence all my appointments had to be done late in the evenings. If I had an option for Saturday I would've preferred that than late in the evenings. Thank you!

Following my initial consultation I was offered a date for my surgery which was only two weeks ahead which completely surprised me as I expected a much longer wait I attended my surgery and was treated with courtesy and respect by all of the staff I encountered I was put at ease both before and during the procedure my surgeon My discharge nurse explained clearly what I needed to do with my medication and also how to keep my eye clean I received a phone call from a nurse the day after my surgery checking that everything was okay. The reception staff were very warm and welcoming and brought me a cup of coffee Dr Dickenson was as usual very warm and welcoming.. She fully discussed the way forward and proceeded to inject the requested skin filler on my face By the following day when it had settled I was absolutely delighted with the results . The staff were absolutely brilliant. So very friendly whilst remaining professional. My appointment was for 11.30 and whilst I accept there is always some waiting time I didn't expect 2 hours. I had another doctor appointment for 2.20 and I was beginning to panic that I would not be ablecto attend. My other complaint,along with several other patients was how very cold the rooms were We were sat in our winter coats and still feeling the cold. Paul, a staff member did eventually turn the heating on/up.
