Dr Lance Forbat is consistently professional, thorough, and reassuring in his interactions with patients. He provides clear explanations of complex conditions and test outcomes, often using plain language and diagrams, which helps patients understand their diagnosis and treatment plans. He adeptly diagnoses serious heart conditions, facilitating necessary interventions like stent fittings or surgical considerations, alongside providing comprehensive medicolegal services and remote monitoring. Patient feedback consistently highlights Dr Forbat's expertise in managing cardiovascular symptoms such as palpitations, heart failure, and breathlessness.
Dr Lance Forbat was super personable, professional and knowledgeable. His questioning was thorough and I felt really looked after. I received the report promptly and will definitely be scheduling my future ecgs with him. The option for home appointments meant I was able to fit my appointment during my lunch break while working from home!

I always find a home visit rewarding. Entering someone's home is always a privilege and getting feedback is most welcome.
Dr. Forbat kindly accommodated our request on short notice to conduct an examination and provide an expert witness statement. He was highly professional both during the physical examination and in his subsequent report to the court. Throughout the process, Dr. Forbat kept us informed of his assessment and went above and beyond by offering additional health advice to the litigant. As litigants in person, we greatly appreciated that Dr. Forbat is one of the few experts in his field willing to work with individuals without legal representation—while maintaining the highest standards in both the quality of his report and his duty to the court. I would not hesitate to recommend his expertise to anyone in need of a knowledgeable and ethical medical expert.

This is most rewarding to get feedback like this. I always treat my clients in legal cases as if they were my patients, however maintaining my duties to the Court.
Dr Forbat provided the complete medicolegal service: responsive, thorough & highly authoritative such that his contribution helped settle a long running, emotive, sensitive & large value case. I would not hesitate to recommend or use again.

It is rare to get feedback from the outcome of any medicolegal case, to receive this 'made my day'!
After spending over a week in hospital with a heart condition i could not get the answers to my questions which made me feel frustrated, but after tests and a consultation with Dr Lance Forbat my mind was put at ease, which gave me a totally different outlook on the problem.

I hope things continue to improve with my advice
Dr. Forbat is friendly, highly proficient and a consummate professional Cardiologist. I saw him this week during an home visit and have been one of his patients for many years and every appointment I attended I have been reassured by his efficiency and capabilities as a specialist in Cardiology. His follow-up notes are fully accurate and informative and second to none. About a decade he looked after me remotely from the UK using Docohub whilst I was in Australia regularly checking and monitoring my condition and changing medication where necessary. This gave me tremendous peace of mind and reassurance enabling me to enjoy my trip. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I have known you since 2011 and your feedback is very much appreciated. I hope after reading this more patients will want this service.
Dr Forbat is an excellent Physician with a broad experience of cardiovascular health- His approach is very patient centric & holistic!!

Thank you for taking the time to give your review. It is always rewarding to hear this feedback.
He listens and explains in a way that is reassuring

Thank you for your review. It is another reassuring me I am doing things right. It is vital to communicate well with patients, one of the most important skills a doctor has to master. Understanding how to express medical terminology in lay terms is essential.
Dr Forbat was extremely helpful caring and informative. I appreciate his help in getting my treatment in place, and helping me on the road to recovery.

It is always rewarding for doctors to get feedback in these reviews. Simply knowing that the patient is optimistic about their future makes a difference.
Dr Forbat diagnosed my heart condition, following two heart attacks. He at the time was a locum Consultant at the Princess Royal hospital, in Orpington. Until Dr Forbat examined me, no-one else at the hospital had diagnosed my condition. It is purely thanks to him, that I was expedited to King's, where I had stents fitted. I can honestly say that I owe my health and continued well-being to Dr Forbat's clinical excellence.

Thank you for this and remembering me. When I checked my CV it was between April and October 2014! This was one of many occasions when time is of the essence and I am so pleased I could help and see how well you are keeping a decade on.
Dr Lance Forbat was very professional throughout. He explained what things were in non medical language that made things easier to understand then followed this up with suggested future steps and gave all the options that were available. Throughout the process I felt completely at ease and at no time was I pressured into taking any tests or treatment that I didn't need and all recommendations were followed up in a letter to myself and GP.

Thank you for your considered review. It reflects the fact that communicating well with patients is one of the most important skills a doctor has to master. It is learned by example from senior colleagues and seeing what works and practice over time. Understanding how to express medical terminology in lay terms is essential.

Now is the time to publish my memoir. Why now ? With the state of the NHS and the government’s proposed 10 year plans we can infuence the government to do the right thing to improve the NHS.. The title of my book is ’Ungagged - The Sons of Bevan’. My memoir is ready to find a publisher after a legal read, but to keep control of the content and avoid delays of months or years, with large publishers, who also rarely accept direct submissions, I have learned that I need a hybrid publisher. Since my creer in the NHS was derailed when i was sacked from my consultant cardiology post at Weston General Hospital in 2002, my financial situation is not good and I need to go down the route of fundraising. Please visit my GoFundMe page where I explain in more detail about my book and why my story may help change the culture in the NHS.: https://www.gofundme.com/f/exposing-detriment-to-whistleblowers-in-nhs/cl/o?utm_campaign=man_sharesheet_dash&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=copy_link&lang=en_US&attribution_id=sl%3A29eaeccb-28cb-4454-b3f2-867726065204&ts=1766385655
