I was seen by Mr Aly on 5th March and he organised everything that I need to have very quickly. Excellent people skills and listens to the patient and very reassuring.

I found the staff in the SAU very pleasant, professional, with a very good bedside manner in what is a difficult busy environment. The nursing staff were very much present and attentive throughout. Nurse Lucy was very good and worthy of note. They as well as the Dr’s examining me showed empathy, gave me clear well explained information , compassion and an honest assessment managing my expectations accurately with regards to treatment required, timelines for receiving emergency surgery. Dr Aly and his team hit the balance perfectly between clearly being a very busy team and working efficiently, without causing me to feel under valued or rushed at any time. This cannot be under valued in what was an upsetting and stressful time for me, when I was in pain and needed to have accurate information to be able to grasp and plan the situation and my home for three days. There was also a lot of information to process. My experience with these staff was very positive and for that I thank them dearly for their efforts.
