I took my 15 year old granddaughter for a developmental physical check up particularly re her spine. This is her own feedback about Dr Wacks. She also thought his chaperone Renee was very sensitive and nice. Dr W’s. Was charismatic, very thorough in his examination , kind, knowledgeable and passionate about his work and very respectful of my body which made me feel comfortable and I felt confident after his examination
Dr Wacks was absolutely fantastic with our 17 year old son. He was instantly warm and understanding with him which built an atmosphere of trust and our son was able to open up and be honest. This was no mean feat! Utterly professional and succinct whilst giving us as much time as we needed to convey what was going on. I think the most admirable thing about Dr Wacks was his ability to listen to a 17 year old boy and hear his concerns. Despite us all suspecting there was nothing physically wrong with him, he systematically checked all of his symptoms and reassured him that he was healthy and well. On the back of some other results, Dr Wacks listened to us as parents and confirmed that they should be investigated. We are now on a healing pathway which can absolutely be attributed to his kindness and care. Thank you!
Dr Mike has been great from the start helping our daughter Aurora find her way on the planet. He was particularly calming when administering the vaccinations. Never an easy activity, but his approach helped us and Aurora to get through this session. One more to go and then one in a year.
Dr Michael Wacks is a wonderful consultant with the perfect balance of extensive knowledge, professionalism and friendly, down-to-earth demeanour. He has gone out of his way to provide the best care for our daughter Aurora across several appointments and given us confidence as new parents. This wasn't an easy feat after a particularly bad experience we'd had with our local NHS GP practice and because Dr Wacks had the task of administering the first course of injections - an unpleasant experience for any parent. Dr Wacks did everything possible to support us and we are very grateful.

Thank you so much for your kind words. Its always a pleasure to see the three of you in clinic. Looking forward to our next consultation at Central Health London.
My partner and I have brought our son to see Dr Wacks on two different occasions, and both times he was very empathetic and thorough, even sharing anecdotes from his own experience as a parent to set our minds at ease regarding concerns we had about our son's development. He took note of each of our concerns, and then he asked questions to get more context before examining our son physically. During and after the examination, he provided his assessment regarding each condition we had highlighted in turn. (There was a long list of concerns, and he took them all seriously, even the ones that I myself thought were far-fetched and unlikely to be real issues for our child.) After each visit, my partner and I also received a very thorough follow-up letter documenting the visit, including the examination itself, our concerns, and recommended treatment (if any) or further observation. Dr Wacks has a wonderfully reassuring bedside manner, which is exactly the kind of demeanour I would hope for in a paediatrician. He also interacted with our son in a way that set him at ease, offering him toys to play with and books to distract him, thereby making the visit all the more pleasant for him. I would gladly recommend that other parents bring their children to see Dr Wacks, regardless of the nature of the medical concern.

Thanks so much for your kind and helpful feedback. Its always useful to know what parents find works well. Looking forward to seeing you at CHL whenever you need me! Kind regards, Mike
