I attended the Neurology Clinic at Cleveland Clinic, Portland Place London for a second medical opinion (covered by my insurance) and I had ALL medical reports with me. The booking process was straightforward, and the reception team were excellent—very responsive and professional, with great customer service. I also appreciated that the clinic arranged for my MRI images to be transferred ahead of my appointment, so the consultant would have access to my medical history. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with how the consultation itself went. I came with up-to-date MRI scans (completed recently through an NHS neuroscience unit), along with relevant medical reports and test results. However, the doctor did NOT properly review my MRI images, stating they were “bad quality,” and instead suggested I pay privately for repeat MRI scans at Cleveland Clinic London 3Tesla MRI scanner (my all mri's were done on 3Tesla scanners). He also recommended another lumbar puncture, again privately, despite the fact that I have already had one. Overall, I left with the strong impression that the focus was on arranging further paid tests rather than reviewing the information already available and providing a clear second opinion. In the end, I did not receive any meaningful second medical opinion, no conclusions were offered, and I felt I had not been listened to. To be fair, Dr Wallace Brownlee was polite, kind, and his manner was professional. The neurological examination was fine. However, I still left without any explanation or diagnostic opinion, despite no recent change in my clinical picture that would obviously justify repeating tests before offering an assessment. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Dr Wallace Brownlee for someone seeking a genuine second opinion.

I cannot recommend Dr Santorum - Perez highly enough. From start to finish, my C-section experience was nothing short of exceptional. She was incredibly supportive, thorough, and reassuring, especially as I went into the birth with a lot of anxiety. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered every question with patience, and made me feel completely safe and cared for throughout the entire process. On the day of delivery, her calm, confident presence made all the difference. I felt supported every step of the way, and the surgery itself was so well managed that I felt amazing afterward — far better than I ever expected. What could have been an overwhelming experience became a genuinely positive and enjoyable moment for both my husband and me. Thanks to her compassion, skill, and attentiveness, my anxiety was eased, and my birth experience was one I will always look back on with gratitude. I am so thankful to have been in her care and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for an obstetrician or considering a C-section who truly goes above and beyond.

I was made to wait 6 months for my cataract operations because I had a cardioversion. This is a short sedation rather than a general anaesthetic. I have been given no clinical explanations for this. I am in perfect health despite my age. I understand that a normal waiting time at other hospitals is 6 weeks with good recovery after a major operation. I suspect there are no clinical reasons, just a bureaucratic hesitation to take the slightest risk. I wonder how many patients discover that “Well soon” should be retitled “Well sometime”. Your bureaucratic incompetence is illustrated by your list of specialists which does not include the name of my surgeon, your lead ophthalmologist Dr Marzena Raszewska. It is her recorded ability that persuaded me to wait the 6 months rather than seek an alternative.

Great! Excellent overall experience. Facilities in general good, room, cleanliness, staff and procedure. I really am a fan, and if necessity arises would return with a lot of confidence that things would go well. Two small items of feedback : Negative - situation of the centre is not ideal and some patients get a view of a dingy disused courtyard . This is a minor point ! Food could be a little more interesting. Positive - its both reassuring and positive that the whole experience, especially the excellent staff, are so personal. The patient feels that care is tailored specifically to them. Little danger of removing the wrong leg! Warm human interchanges throughout, which is very, very good!

I was put completely at ease with all my concerns being addressed. The results are amazing, far beyond my expectations even though I was assured it would be good. Mr Balaggan has great skill which he uses to transform our most precious gift, sight. The theatre support team, both in their work and ability to put me at ease while my sight was being restored to what it was 30+ years ago, were friendly and talented. The hospital support staff saw to all my needs from the moment I walked in to the time I left. I cannot put a price or score on the whole experience, I had high hopes. and these were met and gone above and beyond them. I just want to say a huge thank you to all concerned.

Mr Raghav Dwivedi

Mr Dwivedi treated me for a large thyroid lump - I didn't know whether it was benign or malignant and as someone who suffers from anxiety, I was a bit of an anxious wreck in the lead up to surgery. I could not have been treated better by Mr Dwivedi. His bedside manner is excellent, he explained everything very clearly and with empathy, and he put me at ease from the start. I had to have a hemithyroidectomy in order to ascertain whether the lump was cancerous or not (thankfully it wasn't), but the operation was smooth, the recovery was manageable, and the scar is barely noticeable already. All round - I would highly recommend Mr Raghav Dwivedi.

Dr Ziad Farah is professional yet personable. He studied my case in detail and was able to provide reassurance on how my treatment was going. He is incredibly responsive and fast acting - I have never experienced this before but I am so grateful for this as he was able to act quickly on my case which has been prolonged for months. He provided me with the right referrals, quickly. Most of all, he was one of the first specialists to take his time and listen to me in detail and was very understanding and empathetic. Thank you Dr Farah, your help has been greatly appreciated!

I recently visited Mr Challand (Jan 2026) for an initial consultation to discuss some post childbearing issues (haemorrhoid's). Mr Challand was amazing from start to finish, he made me feel so at ease in a subject that is so personal to myself. Mr Challand thoroughly explained all treatment options in a professional manner yet in layman’s terms so that I understood fully what treatment operations are available and the full extent of my condition. The appointment was not rushed and Mr Challand answered all my questions at a high level and has made me feel so at ease.

I was very happy with my treatment with everyone especially Wr Kamran Khan who I can’t recommend enough, he was friendly, assuring and also the lovely nurse who looked after me after my op. Sorry I can’t remember her name but she was so caring. Anyone going for a cararact op this place is brilliant and everyone I came in contact with both times I was there I feel I couldn’t have had better. It was so reassuring to be certain I was seeing an actual medically qualified person (uncertain in todays NHS) whose judgement therefore I felt I could trust. Dr Ridout was very understanding and approachable - an attentive listener, carried out an objective examination and was happy to discuss it together with why she was suggesting the proposed treatment plan. I would definitely recommend this Practice.

Will has a great support team - very efficient and friendly. They try to find ways of working round your life (business trips and a last minute meeting in my case).
