From my initial appointment to my final visit, my experience with Mr Panose, at North Downs hospital was absolutely outstanding. From his bedside manner to his professional care and attention to detail with his explanations, put my mind instantly at rest that I was definitely in the best possible hands for a pain free and positive outcome. Dr Panose took his time to explain the full hip replacement procedure, along with the pros and cons of the difference materials he uses. My operation was booked in within 2 weeks from my initial appointment. I was instantly pain free after my full hip replacement. On the morning of my surgery he came to my suite to check I was ok, then came back at the end of the day to check in with me again. At my follow up appointment he was very pleased with how the operation went, showed me my updated X-rays, assured me I was good to go, but did advise me if I have any issues in the future to contact him. Such a wonderfully kind, professional Doctor.

I was extremely happy with the hospital and the level of care I received. From the moment I arrived, all of the nurses and staff were kind, professional, and incredibly attentive. I felt genuinely well looked after at every stage before and after surgery. The nursing team made me feel comfortable, reassured, and supported, always checking in on me and making sure I had everything I needed. Their calm and caring approach made a big difference and helped me feel at ease throughout my stay. The hospital environment was clean, well organised, and very reassuring, and the overall standard of care was excellent. I am truly grateful to the entire team and would highly recommend this hospital to anyone undergoing treatment or surgery.

Haaving had a miserable time, on and off for some thirty years(and especially in the twlvelve months to my first meeting with Mr. Barazi). Thisiafrom Trigeminal Neuralgia.. He found a mechanism to relieve my symptoms immediately and I have been free of pain for just about a year now. This is both a wonderful relief and release. I shall be grateful for as long as I last! His manner is enthusiastic and engaging and plainly interested in awide range of subjects. Once fully recovered, I am sure I shall miss our conversations and h9is ministration. Positive perks - the waiting room had adjustable height chairs meaning I didn't have to struggle getting in and out of chairs! Dr Chinoy didn't judge me, or make me feel rushed or that I was an inconvenience (something I have grown accustomed to from the nhs). Despite my symptoms not fitting in with his specialities he recommended a colleague who he feels confident would be able to meet my needs. Although private care is hard on my wallet as a self funder, the advice, treatment and service I received overall made it more than worthwhile.

I had a really good stay at Castle Craig, learned a lot and feeling positive about the future. The nurses were great, the therapists life-savers, the food was ok - good portions and good flavour but I was a bit bored of it after 5 weeks. The consultant psychiatrist was exceptional, he really listened and took time to consider my case. He was one of the reasons I came here after meeting him in his Edinburgh clinic, and it has been really the best decision I could have made.

Mr Annie was extremely pleasant to deal with, throughly explained the procedure and possible outcomes. Clinics were always on time, and admission to hospital was quick following the pre op assessment. Excellent pre op advice and information (including the input from the whole theatre team). Post operative advice was thorough and good follow up the morning after surgery leading up to my discharge. Post operative clinic appointment 7 weeks following operation was useful.

I was amazed by the e efficiency of the staff and how reassuring they were I was introduced to everybody involved, who were all very kind.. It was painless, over so quickly, the consultant Ayad Shafiq was talking to me all the time and the nurse I Fiona was with me throughout everything, even holding my hand through the procedure. I’m actually looking forward to my other eye appointment!!

From arrival to leaving, staff were very friendly and helpful. I was treated respectfully and with care. I visited the facility twice this week and on the first occasion - late afternoon, there was no option for purchasing refreshments. On my second visit, which was earlier in the day, the facility to purchase drinks and snacks was open, and was very good.
