I booked and paid for a private online consultation with Dr Vinesan Naidoo regarding persistent hyperprolactinaemia confirmed on blood tests (monomeric prolactin approx. 590 mIU/L; total prolactin approx. 704 mIU/L) with ongoing symptoms including low libido, low energy, anxiety, poor sleep and mood issues. This appointment was extremely disappointing. From the start, I was interrupted repeatedly and not allowed to explain my symptoms properly. The doctor quickly dismissed the issue as “physiological” and “not a medical concern” despite clearly abnormal blood results and clear symptoms affecting my quality of life. What I found most frustrating is that he seemed to assume he knew better than I do about what I’m experiencing, essentially implying that raised prolactin at these levels cannot cause symptoms — even though it is well known that prolactin elevation can affect libido, mood, energy and sexual function in men. There was no structured assessment and no clear plan. The consultation did not cover: possible causes of raised prolactin repeat testing plan (fasting, stress-controlled, early morning) medication/supplement review endocrine referral pathway whether pituitary imaging should be considered if prolactin remains elevated As a patient paying privately, I expected a professional, thorough medical discussion. Instead, I felt dismissed and rushed, and left with no help, no reassurance, and no next steps. I cannot recommend this doctor based on my experience. I paid for a medical consultation, but what I received was an opinion with no investigation, no plan and no clinical value.

My doctors are always amazing and when ive had a serious procedure they have been excellent. Only minor thing id say is once the doctor hands over to the team of nurses etc it felt as though they werent sure what to do with me. I was sent for bloods then asked to go to the main hospital then told to go to ground floor then someone else was able to sort out my appointments. When I couldve resolved a few things on the day I went, it ended up having to make appointments for everything. I was given a urine sample kit to take with me. I kinda wish my bloods and urine would have all been completed on the day as they have the facility and there was time as I sat on the chair for a few minutes before they apologised and told me id have to go to the main hospital. I think when its one thing to do, its pretty straight forward but when theres a few things to book in I was handed from one nurse to another to anothert and in the end I left having to change my appointments. They are all lovely but feels as though they are missing some direction and considering that the patient may already be a bit anxious about the visit. Otherwise its always a good experience

My experience at the Fitzrovia private maternity suite at UCLH was exceptional from start to finish. The room's were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and calm - exactly what you hope for during such an important emotional time. The food was genuinely excellent, with a great variety of choices, which made a real difference during recovery and long days on the ward. Most importantly, the staff were absolutely amazing. From the midwives and healthcare assistance to the catering team, every single person was kind, caring and professional. The midwives were extremely knowledgeable and always on hand to support and reassure, no matter the time of day. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. What truly stood out was the continuity of care even after discharge. The midwives remained available to support me with breastfeeding and post cesarean aftercare, which was invaluable and made me feel supported well beyond my stay. I cannot fault the Fitzrovia private maternity suite at UCLH. The standard of care, compassion, and attention to detail where outstanding, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering private maternity to care.

I was fortunate enough to be referred to Mr Hassan by another consultant gynaecologist, after a specialist MRI scan revealed significant Stage 4 deep-infiltrating endometriosis and possible adenomyosis. From the start, he was kind, patient, professional, reassuring and very knowledgeable. He listened to my concerns, made his recommendations and I had my operation just 10 days after the initial consult!! The surgery was very complex, but successful and I have made a good recovery so far. Thank you so much for giving me a new lease of life. If I ever require further surgery, I would not hesitate to come back. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mr Hassan to anyone suffering with endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids and/or considering a hysterectomy; he has a wealth of experience with these conditions and I trust him implicitly. A truly brilliant, gifted surgeon - we need more specialists like him in the field. I would just like to say thanks be to God for such tremendous provision!!

Having been to several medical professionals in my life, I can honestly say the care provided by Dr Katie Cowie is exceptional. She has a great bedside manner, there is no judgement and she is, very knowledgable and understanding. Personably speaking, I would now always consult her on my journey through peri-menopause and beyond. She is well worth the cost for such excellent one to one care. I also see her for weight loss and again, for anyone contemplating medical assisted weight loss, I would always recommend going through someone like Dr Cowie. The assistance she provides with her vast knowledge on the subject is invaluable. I’m so grateful to have met her. and I recommend her to everyone I know going through any women’s health issues.

My experience of the hospital was very good. The staff were amazing especially Jayne on Day surgery and David at the ward at night. The only downside that came to my attention is being told that there was no lactose free milk for my tea. The lady, I did catch her name, told me that she wasn’t aware of my overnight stay. She asked me if I was aware that I was staying overnight and I replied ‘yes’. She then went on to ask if I had put it in my forms prior to attending and I said yes. She kept on going on it wasn’t her fault she had been told. A bit of advice would be that she overshared. She clearly sorted the problem as the following morning someone had picked up the milk and I had it with my tea.

Mr Arman Memarzadeh

Mr Memarzadeh performed a total knee replacement on my right knee, which was quite quite badly damaged and painful as a consequence of osteoarthritis. The entire process was highly professional from start to finish. It's still early days but I'm very pleased with the result so far. Just 8 weeks after the implant, I'm able to move around easily and with only occasional mild pain. The wound has almost disappeared. Mr Memarzadeh is evidently highly skilled and experienced in this specialist field, and I have no hesitation in recommending him. I would also like to commend his PA, Tracey, who was very supportive and always responded promptly and courteously to my requests and queries.

Experience OK but to have to travel 80 mile round trip with 24 hrs notice was stressful, for the pre-accessment which I had to ask for, as not arranged. If I had been told on the information letter that if I was taking antibiotics I would need to have 4 weeks clear before I could have my procedure, this would have prevented me from excepting the procedure date I had been given. Therefore would have given the date to someone else. I had two weeks notice of my procedure which is OK if all information had been given to me. Find the administration side lacking. Lovely staff. .

From the German health system, I wasn't used to be taken too seriously with my views, needs and concerns, so, I had previously experienced a lot of frustration. Mr Stafford and his entire team not only achieved excellent results through the operation and after-care, but made me feel I was in charge, was being very well looked after and put in a position where I could confidently go home post op and manage. The healing process seems amazingly fast. I do recommend Mr Stafford's services!

I have always been happy with the service and patient experience at the London Clinic. However, when I went for my MRI on a Saturday morning, MRI department was closed and there was no information about it. I had to go around the hospital to try and find out what was going on. After about an hour I was finally sent to another MRI scanner on a different floor . The clinicians there were lovely and very apologetic about the experience I had although it was not their fault.

From start to finish I had an excellent experience at Vision Scotland Glasgow. All staff were welcoming and friendly and the physical clinic was very pleasant, modern and clean. There was some complexity with my particular clinical requirements although the clinical team (especially Neil) were very patient and thorough in helping to identify the correct solution for me. The procedure was straightforward and I am very happy with the outcome!

Dr McKean took the time to explain what he was going to do today, and talked me through each step. After the injection he then gave me time to ask all sorts of questions I had around the issue I have with my hip and how to heal it, along with he possible next steps. He also gave me advice about how much/little exercise to take in the next week.
