Mr Jan Dmitrewski

In July 2025 I consulted Mr. Dmitrewski with a suspected Spigelain Hernia. He arranged for an ultrasound examination and a CT scan and following these the suspected diagnosis was confirmed. A date for surgery, convenient for myself, was arranged and in mid-September 2025 I checked in to the Nuffield Hospital as a day patient. The operation was successfully completed and I returned home the same day. The stitches were removed 10 days later. I had a follow up meeting with Mr. Dmitrewski at the end of October and all was well. Throughout the experience Mr. Dmitrewski was very professional at all times. He gave a full explanation of what the surgery entailed, including the potential risks, and answered all my questions. His manner was kind and friendly. The operation went very well with no complications. I am grateful to Mr Dmitrewski, the anestheist, nurses and support staff for the positive outcome. Following the operation I sent an email query to Mr. Dmitrewski's secreatry about driving post op and this was dealt with in an efficient and speedy manner.

I had a consultation with Dr. Milica Perovic and was told I would receive a letter with my test results and scan findings shortly afterward. However, I only received them after several follow-ups. Although her secretary had confirmed that the results were ready on a Monday, I did not receive them until the following Friday, when I escalated the issue to HCA and filed a formal complaint, which was quite frustrating. When I asked the doctor for more detailed information about my medications—the very reason I had chosen to go private for a second opinion—I was simply told to check back with my GP, which was disappointing. Additionally, I was informed on the day of the appointment that the consultation, scan, and blood tests were all included in the total cost. However, I later received an unexpected invoice for the blood tests. Overall, there was poor communication and unclear information regarding both results and fees.

Following an informative appointment with Dr.Georgina Williams I opted to have an upper Blepharoplasty. The procedure went surprisingly quickly, I was comfortable throughout. Dr Chris Airey is brilliant, he goes through every blood marker and explains everything clearly. I transferred to this clinic from Optimale as the service and protocol I was on didn’t feel very optimal for me. In my opinion, UrbanTRT is way better and I now understand what truly personalised TRT looks like. Dr.Alam Hannan has been great in explaining to us my son's hearing. I also really liked that before the appointment he took time to speak to me and most importantly to read through all the previous reports. That way he already knew our entire history, and I did not need to entertain my son whilst telling the doctor our medical history (which is what usually happens and what is annoying especially with very young children). Dr.Hannan has excellent manners and ways to explain things. I left his office with a smile. Thank you Dr.Hannan.

Wow I don't know where to start. Upon referral, I received an appointment after two weeks. I was shocked. The member of staff that called me was very clear and informative. As a regular visitor I am made welcome by staff, who are always helpful, albeit stretched in their work. Some days more stretched than others. I am content that my wife received good care although, I always want more, which I know is not possible within resource constraints.
