Mr Slavomir Blazej is the surgeon who dealt with my case and performed the major surgery I had on the 8th January 2026. I cannot praise him and the staff highly enough. Everything, leading up to the operation, was clearly and patiently explained. Any questions I had were answered in full detail so I knew and understood exactly what would happen during my treatment and the reasons why. The care and attention I have received has been truly outstanding. The way I was dealt with, the detailed explanations and patience that I received gave me so much confidence. My appointment with doctor Ben Davis was the most helpful appointments I did in my life . He had all the answers to my problems . He was very gentle and understanding with examination and explain to me all the prons and cons in my problem. After the appointment I received a letter with all the topics we discussed so that I can read again and remember our conversation. He is also very caring because he wants to know you understand and completed right all the steps he gave you for medication. He is there for you and I think this is the most important thing to choose him as your doctor .

Both occasions on visiting the practice have been fantastic. Having a fear of the dentist isn’t great, but the reassurance from the staff is absolutely second to none. Talking through the steps to give you an indication of what’s going on etc. checking in constantly to make sure everything is ok with the procedure taking place! The staff are professional and very friendly, the practice is probably one of the best I’ve ever visited. It doesn’t have a normal sterile dentist feel to it! Again a great experience for someone who isn’t particularly keen on visiting the dentist.

It was a little overwhelming as I was expecting to discuss fitting a coil and whilst that was mentioned, I was advised about having surgery which was unexpected. I found myself agreeing to the surgery despite not knowing much about it. The risks were not explained and I didnt find out how the procedure would be executed or potential recovery time that might be required. I feel a bit confused about whether this is the right course of action or not. I was not pleased to receive a letter that claimed the risks were explained to me, when they were not.

I am now happy that I have a better understanding of my condition and the options open to me if my condition starts to impact my activities.
