I contacted Dr Gall following a diagnosis of atrial fibrillation and possible atrial flutter, on a personal recommendation. Although I had been referred within the NHS, this had not been tagged as urgent, and the wait time even for an initial consultation was likely to be a year. Between booking my initial consultation with Dr Gall and seeing him in person, I had a TIA (fortunately short-lasting with no after-effects) which certainly focused my mind on achieving a more speedy resolution. Dr Gall explained what was going wrong inside my heart, and what the possible options were to mitigate and/or resolve these. I found him to be very approachable and reassuring while we proceeded through some tests to establish an absence of sleep apnoea and that I would be suitable for ablation surgery, which was clearly the optimal treatment. I was booked for surgery within a few weeks of the test results coming back and a second consultation with Dr Gall. This took place at the Spire Hospital in South Manchester. I was there just over 24 hours in total, and was in theatre and recovery for somewhere around 4 hours. Dr Gall came to see me before the operation, had a brief chat in the theatre as I walked in, and then dropped into my room again after I had come round. Again, he was very reassuring at all times, and took time to explain why the operation had taken a little longer than necessary but that he was completely happy with how it had turned out. He paid me a final visit on his way home in the evening, again just to check that I was well and what to expect afterwards. I had excellent treatment from all the staff in Dr Gall's team at the hospital, and should say that several of them told me how much they appreciated working with him, saying that he always explained things clearly to them, encouraged them to ask questions if they were unsure, and made them feel everyone was part of a team. Post-surgery, I have seen Dr Gall on two further occasions to review further heart monitor results, and have now been signed off. He has always continued to reassure me that these results are everything he would hope for after a successful operation, and that all being well, we won't have to meet again. Following my experience, I can't recommend Dr Gall highly enough, and wish him well in the future as he continues to change patients lives for the better.

Anna has helped me completely change my life, I can't describe how thankful I am. Before our sessions I was too afraid to leave my room and was too depressed to care for myself, I couldn't picture a future for myself and didn't want to. I felt like I was too far gone for any therapy to help me, and worried that having such a mixture of mental health problems (depression, anxiety, EUPD, anorexia/bulimia, ADHD, autism) would make it difficult to find someone who could actually help. Now I'm back in college working towards applying to university, I've volunteered and even passed my driving test, and I actually feel hopeful for my future. Anna believed in me the whole time and taught me how to believe in myself. She taught me so many useful skills that I am going to use for the rest of my life. Annas gentle, caring and open minded approach helped me feel so at ease during the sessions and I trusted that I could tell her anything and she would never be judgemental or make me feel guilty for thinking or feeling a certain way like other therapists I've had in the past did. She never pressured me to talk about anything I didn't feel comfortable with, and even though our sessions were mostly focused on my anxiety, she still helped me so much with my other problems as well, either actively through talking about them directly, or passively by teaching me skills that I could apply to multiple different situations. I found the way she explained the reasoning behind certain thought or behaviour patterns incredibly enlightening and definitely aided in me overcoming those patterns that I struggled with as it gave me a better understanding of why and how they occured so I could either figure out how to stop them from happening in the first place or realise why they were happening and just let them pass without judging myself for them. I'm so grateful I found Anna, she has genuinely been the best therapist I've ever had.

Erin is by far the best physio I have ever worked with. I started seeing her in early Feb 2025, with no clear idea of what was wrong - only a general feeling of being ‘uneven’. She carried out countless tests on different muscles, and together we identified the root of the issue within just a few sessions. Over the past eight months, we’ve worked together on strengthening my muscles through a mix of gym-based and mobility exercises, building strength to support my shoulders and back. She has patiently listened to me week after week as I’ve asked new questions, always going above and beyond to adapt my programme to suit my current targets. I can confidently say I’ve never been in such great health, and as I approach the end of my treatment, I feel reassured knowing exactly how to take care of myself going forward – all thanks to Erin.

I noticed one morning an egg shaped lump in my groin area after a hard indoor climbing session and knew immediately I'd torn something and suspected a hernia. A quick Google search of local Hernia surgeons came up with one name in particular, Mr Michael Stellakis, I paid privately for a consultation and the resulting examination involving extremely thorough online tutorials of what is and what contributes to a Hernia left me with no doubt I'd made the correct decision in seeking Mr Stellakis's opinion and my options going forward. Several weeks later I underwent a Bilateral laproscoic Hernia repair. From the initial consultation through to the surgery and the aftercare, every step was dealt with, with complete and utter professionalism that I'd heard about from the Warwickshire Bowel and Hernia Centre. I walked out of the Hospital later the same day as the surgery, 3-4 weeks later I'm back climbing as good as, if not stronger than before the Injury, Simply incredible experience from start to finish. I had a number of appointments to see Mr Warr at the Nuffield, and it was always administered well and on time. On the day of the surgery there was initially some confusion on which hospital room I was assigned to but that was cleared up fairly quickly - it was 7am so perhaps a beginning of shift handover issue. The nurses were caring, professional, attentive and very friendly before and after the operation. The anaesthetist visited and was very clear explaining the process, friendly and reassuring. A very good experience. I also appreciated that my parents could be with me before the operation as I'm quite young and not used to being in hospital. Overall a very good experience. Thank you.

Great service. Quick and efficient. The website doesn’t work that well on mobile but I was able to use the WhatsApp method and that was fine. Weirdly that prompted a call whereas by initiating communication via WhatsApp it was odd to get a call. I was struggling to hear clearly which is why I sent the WhatsApp. I’d imagine that I’m not unique in this 🤪. Not a complaint. Just worth noting. One other idea: has anyone asked to be able to watch what is being done on a screen? I personally would have enjoyed being able to do this. Don’t judge me!!! But if you made that available and publicised it, I reckon it could be a differentiator. Thanks for an efficient and thorough service x

Sam Wilde did an amazing job on my hip. I had a steroid injection and an extremely gloomy prognosis from the consultant with regard to osteoarthritis. Without Sam I would have gone into a deep depression! Sam talked me through a programme of rest post the steroid injection followed by a slow return to exercise with various adaptations. A year and a half later I am back to exercising 6 times a week with (so far) no issues other than the odd twinge from my hip. I am incredibly grateful and can't rate the treatment I got highly enough.

Fit2function is the best physio clinic I have visited. As a sportsman, physio is an important part of my routine for both rehab and prehab. Many of the clinics I have attended don’t accommodate sports and return to play. My experience at Fit2function was great. I saw Harrison, who is an ex athlete and understood my needs well. The equipment is modern and top of the range, and the philosophy is very aligned to returning to sport and having the best possible outcome. I would highly recommend them.

The Spire has excellent facilities (car parking, waiting area, consulting rooms etc) and the reception staff are very attentive and helpful. The “formal check in” using an iPad is an unnecessary hurdle for patients to negotiate. The earlier system of just checking in with the receptionist was much better. My appointment with Dr. Balerdi was on time and a very useful session. Re. Dr. Balerdi himself, my very postive comments are in an earlier section.

I needed my bloods reviewed at three months on T. I needed to prompt PIH to set the process off, which was fine but unfortunately my blood results weren't straight forward so needed more time to get reviewed and get things sorted out before my script could be issued. PIH did pull out the stops and got everything sorted in time, so I am grateful. They now have provided a helpful flow chart so I know what to expect at each milestone. All good.
