The Portland Hospital was a wonderful place to safely deliver our beautiful baby boy. Our experience was personalised, with very thorough and caring professionals. Our obstetrician, Dr Kenga Sivarajah, was incredibly knowledgable and kind: someone we could trust implicitely and who was there throughout the entire 22 hour labour to ensure a safe delivery. The Anaesthetic team were quick and very effective with the epidural, ensuring that my pain was well managed throughout, with no side effects from the epidural. The nursing staff, both on the delivery ward and maternity ward, were amazing. Ellie and Scarlet were there every step to make sure I was safe and comfortable during labour. On the birth ward, we had regular nurse check ins and a lot of help with breastfeeding positions and latch. There was the option of the night nursery as well, which we elected not to use. The room was very comfortable with a trundle bed for my partner to sleep and a private bathroom (hugely appreciated immediately post birth). The food was excellent, with an extensive menu. The kitchen was a bit slow on some of the orders, but otherwise very good. Overall, our Portland experience was wonderful and we would hope to deliver there again in future.

It’s an absolute honour to have met Mr Sean Molloy. He is the most amazing, professional, honest, kind, gentle human being and surgeon I could have ever known. He is a fantastic surgeon. If the ratings had more than 5 stars I would be giving them all to him. He has helped my mum throughout her spinal surgeries on 3 occasions and the final one was a very complicated case. He looked after her so well to the extent that he would even visit her at night after a long day of seeing patients. On the day of her surgery once he finished with her he called me late at night reassuring me and discussing it all in detail with me. I do not know of any surgeon who would do this… he is so dedicated and takes pride in his work. He will always put patient care first making sure you’re ok. He is god sent to us and I would trust him with a blind eye. He performed balloon kyphoplasty on me following my trauma where i fractured my spine. I would have ended up with a collapsed spine had he not acted quickly and treated me. I can’t thank Mr Molloy, Suzzane and the rest of his team enough for all they have done for me and my mum. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

I recently underwent surgery at Kingsbridge Private Hospital, and I genuinely cannot put into words how grateful I am for the incredible care I received. From the moment my procedure was over, the nurses were by my side — kind, patient, and so comforting. They made me feel safe and completely at ease during a time that could have been overwhelming. My surgeon and nurse continued that same level of warmth and support throughout my aftercare. Their reassurance, responsiveness, and genuine concern for my wellbeing meant more to me than they probably realise. Their care and attention were truly outstanding — compassionate, professional, and heartfelt in every way. I have nothing but praise for Mr Morgan and his team. He is the ultimate professional. I had double knee replacement surgery just over six weeks ago and yesterday was signed off by both Mr Morgan and the physio. This is normally done at about twelve weeks. I took my first drive today and cannot feel better. Mr Morgan gave excellent advice, bringing to my attention that physio exercises must be adhered to, and he was right. I recently had a hysterectomy at this hospital the surgeon was brilliant but during my stay in the hospital I was appalled by how I was treated. Staff were friendly but some of them when I needed them ignored me. A specialist nurse from my consultant had to advocate for me. Upon discharge, one of my stitches had been left in which then went on to cause other issues. I was then chased severally for payment when I had made clear and provided authorisation codes from my insurer. I was not impressed with service from the hospital itself at all. But my consultant was brilliant.

Rebecca and Lisa both looked after me when I was in recently for a gender scan and genetic testing. They could not have been nicer or more accommodating. After getting my bloods done I felt a little faint and the care I was given by both of them was outstanding. They also made finding out the gender of our first baby incredibly special & wholesome.
