I attended for spinal MRI. Unfortunately the technician was running late for which I was happy to wait but because of timing his communication to me was very poor. I was shown a room to change and left there without any guidance, I was then taken to the MRI machine and not spoken to really to ask if I was okay or to provide any reassurance. I don’t like MRI scans because can feel anxious within the machine. All it takes is a little bit of reassurance and acknowledgement for which I had none. Throughout the test the technician did not speak to me at all to ask if I was okay. I am not sure if this is normal but I found during the MRI it became quite hot which I have not experienced before. When the test was over he hurried me away from the machine without acknowledging my back could be hurting when getting up, which it was a little. He didn’t show me to the door so I had to ask if I was allowed to go and then left the room to change and go home. My review would be it is the smallest common curtesies that makes all the difference to a patient and this time I did not experience this at all. So much so I won’t be choosing to go to this venue for another investigation

I am writing to formally complain about misleading advertising by the clinic Skin55. Their website led me to believe that laser treatments were available at the clinic, and I booked a consultation directly with the clinic, not with any specific doctor. However, upon attending the appointment, I was informed that the clinic did not have the required laser equipment and that not all doctors at Skin55 perform laser treatments. This discrepancy meant that I paid an initial consultation fee of £300, only to then be told that I would need to be referred to another doctor within the same clinic who does provide laser treatments. This second consultation was then quoted at £380. This sequence of events highlights a lack of transparency and constitutes misleading advertising, resulting in unnecessary expenses and inconvenience. I believe that this matter warrants investigation to ensure that Skin55’s practices align with advertising and consumer-protection regulations. I am prepared to provide supporting documentation upon request

I've seen the Joint Injection doctor twice, had two injections, and both were very helpful. The first visit was after I suffered some tissue injury to an arthritic knee and had some fluid removed and a cortisone injection, which gave me immediate relief and was the catalyst to me returning to exercise. I was having ongoing stiffness in the same joint and returned six months later. After consultation I chose to have a hyaluronic acid injection. This made a big difference to the pain, stiffness and function of my knee and has meant I am able now to properly rebuild strength on that side. Dr Thing is easy to talk to, and I felt he really supported what I am trying to do, which is to stay highly active and delay the point I will need surgery for as long as possible. He is very well informed and explained clearly the pros and cons of various approaches to managing arthritis of the knee. He is also skilled at what he does, the injections are ultrasound guided to ensure correct placement and both injections were painless.

I telephoned it was Mr lobo I spoke to explained everything he asked me to send my details I spoke to several times I had an appointment the following Wednesday at my appointment he listened to my fears he had the Anethatist. Call me gave me date for surgery I left feeling so much better on the day of surgery he was very professional and couldn’t have been nicer the following day he phoned at home to check I was ok a few weeks later I had the second surgery and he was just the same listening and reassuring anyone having him as consultant/surgeon couldn’t be in better hands ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😀😀😀 Also on my last appointment he asked me about a sore on my face a sai Ito see someone I did and diagnosed skin cancer I owe him a lot finally he is a lovely man with great bedside manor

I had an excellent experience at Nuffield Hospital Guildford. The hospital was very easy to find, and the reception team were welcoming and efficient. Check-in was quick, and within a few minutes I was seen by the doctor, which was impressive. The facilities were modern and spotless, with a comfortable waiting area and both hot and cold drinks available. The building itself feels contemporary and well maintained, creating a calm and professional environment. The staff were courteous, organised, and clearly experienced, which gave me confidence throughout my visit. Overall, a very smooth and professional experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend Nuffield Hospital Guildford.

Mr Perianayagam made me feel at ease with with my imminent knee replacement operation, I was quite nervous, but following our chat felt much better. I chose to have an epidural instead of anaesthetic, the operation went very well and I cannot thank Mr Perianaygam enough for his care and professionalism. I must also say that my recovery is also going extremely well. At my first physio session 3 weeks after the operation I was told by the physio that she was amazed at my excellant recovery and that I could bend my knee at 120 degees after such a short time. Thankyou to everyone involved in my care especially Mr Perianayagam.

Couldn't fault any of the staff here, all very welcoming, comforting and professional, made me feel at ease at all times and nothing was too much trouble. I ended up with a few complications from my surgery due to my body not at all accepting the procedure and amount that had been done but the staff and my consultant Mr Harley were on top of it literally immediately. Due to not being a straight forward healer they insisted an open door policy at any time day or night if any concerns. The hospital is very very clean and all policies and procedures are followed to the tee. Honestly a brilliant experience all due to them!

Visit was in Luton and Dunstable hospital. I have arrived early for appointment and seen straight away by nurse on duty for first checks.( hight/weight). Then Doctors Gyampoh has seen me for a verbal consultation explained process regarding my concern regarding the condition and scan on the day. After that scan took place with another Doctor. After that Dr. Gyampoh thoroughly have explained my scan,outcome, options and process going forward. Great experience thank you very much. Keep up the good work and experience with patience.

The staff were so kind and helped me to relax when I went for egg collection. The Embryo transfer was a beautiful moment and they ensured it was marked with a photo of the embryo being transferred and a hand written card. Unfortunately, our first transfer was unsuccessful but I know we are in safe hands for our next steps. The admin team in particular have been amazing - responsive, sensitive and friendly. Thank you to all of the staff that quietly encourage hope in a scary time

My hip operation was successful and carried out by Mr Edward Gardner. His professionalism in he listening and explaining about the operation. After the operation Mr Gardner used a vacuum pump on my scar to heal / seal and keep the wound clean; this has worked really well. My scar has closed cleanly. I now feel more confident in my mobility and I have no worries in returning to have the other hip replaced in the future by Mr Gardner.
