I booked my appointment directly with Parkside Hospital, Wimbledon, so I didn't attend the London Heart Clinic nor any HCA premises, so my comments relate entirely to Parkside Hospital. 1 - Booking the appointment was a welcoming experience, Tanya was friendly, polite, courteous and easy to converse with. 2 - A follow up email was sent with the appointment details and patient information form which gave some scant details that would not in themselves form the basis of a contract imo. 3- On arrival for the appointment, I was asked to sign a form in 3 places. I was not given a copy of it nor given a chance to take it and read it in the waiting area, I was just asked to sign it, without it being read. 4 - on the basis that this document is in fact a contractual document setting out terms and conditions, which I didn't get to read, this is very poor practice, and could be challengeable. I also have no idea whether it made any reference to 'consent' within it. 5 - I was not handed a copy of the form before or after signing, and the form, with my signatures, has not been emailed to me subsequently, and it is now 2 days after the appointment. 6 - I arrived early for my appointment in the hope that I might be seen earlier than planned, but in the event, I was actually taken in for my appointment 25 minutes after my appointment time, but on the other hand, I had some 50 minutes, so I might have delayed someone else or made Dr Hinton late on leaving. Having said that, he didn't rush me at all, and I am very grateful for this. 7 - Dr Hinton himself was a pleasure to consult with. He made me feel at ease, and he enabled me to feel validated, and heard. He was kind and supportive and I felt I had found someone I could trust. Trust is a super important factor to me, as I've had so many bad experiences in the past. 8 - Dr Hinton grasped matters quickly and set out a case management plan, and dictated his letter to my GP in my presence, for which I am grateful. The only issue I have with that is, that I would rather the NHS GP is not involved, as I have no faith in NHS medical services right now, and I would wish to refer the letter to my health insurers, but am not sure how this will be done, and particularly so, if I am reluctant to speak with my NHS GP? I'm hoping that I will also be furnished with a letter that I can produce to my health insurers, so as to get authorisation for a scan plus it's super important that the letter has been sent to the right GP practice, and I hope it has. I did amend this quickly on the form. This has left a bit of a grey area for me, and I don't know if it was mentioned on the form that I was asked to sign without being able to read through it or be furnished with a copy so I could read it whilst waiting and ask for any amendments? 9 - Parkside is easy to access but it's looking a bit shabby in the outpatients area from my perspective, and the staff look a bit unkempt. My aunt was awarded an MBE for her services to nursing nearly 40 years ago, sadly, she is no longer with us, but she was a stickler for her staff having pristine uniforms, admittedly in the days when nurses wore hats and cuffs, proper uniforms, and butterfly belts, but she was always immaculately turned out and took a pride in her appearance, as well as her work. I often think that today, it begs a question about infection control, or moreover, the lack of it. 10 - it would have been nice to have someone volunteering to work the drinks machine. Older people are afraid to ask but are often dehydrated when waiting, and as we age, technology becomes quite challenging, even a drinks machine!

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Jonathan Collier for the exceptional care and expertise he provided during my treatment for severe maxillofacial trauma involving two broken jaws, following a serious accident. The level of care I received before, during, and after the surgery was outstanding. The surgery itself was performed with great skill, and the post-operative care was excellent. I was contacted daily by Mr. Collier’s team to check on my recovery, offer guidance, and make sure I was doing well. Their constant support meant a great deal to me. After the surgery, all the necessary medications, painkillers, and mouth-care products were thoughtfully prepared and given to me in one bag. This was extremely helpful, as I was not in a condition to go out and buy supplies myself. It allowed me to go straight home and focus entirely on my recovery. Overall, I felt genuinely cared for and supported throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Mr. Jonathan Collier and his team for their professionalism, kindness, and exceptional medical care

I was greeted by an amicable, polite & efficient receptionist on arrival and shown to the waiting room where member of the theatre staff would come for me and explain what would happen next. Kate introduce herself and on knowing I have profound hearing loss made sure that I understood everything. She prepared me well with the required eye drops and made sure I understood the process that would happen in theatre. Having escorted me into theatre she introduced me to Mr Shafiq, the surgeon and the other theatre staff. Mr Shafiq is very approachable and explained clearly what was going to happen. During the procedure he talked me through what he as about to do and what I would see. He was very reassuring throughout the whole procedure which took about 10 mins. He explained clearly about the eye pad, the eye drops etc and Kate made sure that I had understood this before she escorted me to the waiting room. Overall, an excellent team and excellent care; even better than I'd expected because of my profound hearing loss.

Dr Benjamin Shaw

Dr Shaw is extremely pleasant and a great specialist. After having gone through the NHS initially to both an ENT and neurologist I was discharged from the service with little follow up or support and uncertainty as to my exact diagnosis. I continued to suffer from debilaitng symptoms including vertigo attacks and booked an initial consult with Dr Shaw. From the get go I found Dr shaw extremely easy to talk to and he takes the time to explain the potential causes etc and a management plan to treat accordingly. Talking to Dr Shaw has given me hope once again. Very throughough and one of the best drs around for vestibular issues. Would definitely reccomend.

He carried out my balance testing explaining each one in detail which I really appreciated. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my queries . He was so thorough and guided me throughout the examinations. His manner is impeccable . By far one of the nicest professional I have come crossed in some time. At late notice, I was told Mr Hussain would carry out my self pay knee replacement surgery on 28/11/25. I didn’t want another op so happy with pkr or tkr. I ended up with a partial. My teenage son is seeing Mr Crompton for a broken femur, and the service and care we have received so far has been excellent. Mr Crompton's office are super-responsive, helpful and kind. Mr Crompton's advice has been brilliant and perfectly pitched for my teenage son who is worried about his surgery and desperate to get back to sport. Mr Crompton really understands how to communicate with young people (as well as parents) which we feel is absolutely critical.

The 12-month or so wait time was out of Ravi’s hands and in fact the timing of the procedure worked well for me in the end due to it being right before the Christmas holidays. Everyone at Spire Wellesley was fab, even if my discharge at the end of the day took longer than expected it wasn’t a problem and I was really pleased with all the care and professionalism provided by everyone. Following my symptoms, he arranged for an injection to be given immediately to help relieve my pain, making the time to do this on the same day so I didn’t need to return on another occasion, and organising everything in a way that was convenient for me.

Everthing was fully explained to me before and after surgery. Got great support from Johnross for the first phone call. Surgery was booked within a matter of weeks. Staff looked after me with extreme care. I have been waiting 18mnth NHS and this was my only solution as my condition had really deteriorated. Elanic looked after me really well

Lovely and friendly staff. Only exception is that the printed prescription did not had a wet stamp as was about to collect medication, the pharmacy did not accept it and there was back and fro with this which eventually resolved. Overall good experience
