    Professor Roman Cregg

    Anaesthetist

I was referred to Dr Cregg for continuing pain after endometriosis surgery. He examined me and told me that I could ask to stop at any time. When the examination became painful I forgot how to ask him to stop, so he didn’t. Afterwards he did apologise for it being painful. The room at the Fortius did not feel set up for intimate exams. I had emailed his secretary some of my previous notes, which she confirmed she had received, but Dr Cregg did not have access to them at my appointment. He said he wanted to coordinate with the other specialties I was under regarding ongoing investigations, then didn’t. He said that bloating and distension are the same thing, but they are not. He wanted to refer me for an MRI to check for any issues with muscles or nerves, including endometriosis. He said we could discuss my questions later then took me to sign forms and disappeared, it was really unclear that was the end of the appointment. I was told when I booked that the first appointment would be 50 minutes, but in total it was maximum 30 minutes. I was then told by his secretary when to book an appointment to follow up with the results. The working day before, his secretary emailed me (not phoned) to cancel the appointment as my MRI had not yet been reported on. I had already booked a follow up appointment with my gynaecologist the afternoon of this planned appointment to discuss Dr Cregg’s findings, which I could now not change without being charged as I saw the email less than 24 working hours before. I told his secretary that my insurance plan was changing and I really needed the MRI results beforehand to have time for any potential treatment / surgery to still be covered. It was a lot of hassle to get the report, and when I eventually did see Dr Cregg he said I needed to follow up with my gynaecologist (again) to discuss one of the findings. He was late to the follow up appointment because he had double booked the slot, which he did apologise for. I told him the pain and vomiting were getting worse and felt unmanageable on my current medications. He told me to stop taking opioids and that he would never have prescribed them in the first place (which my other doctors disagreed with since I was only using them for flare ups); that he didn’t think I should start neuromodulators but didn’t explain why (several doctors wanted me to, I am now on a low dose for gastro issues and find it helpful); that I needed to use less heat for the pain; that pain can cause nausea and vomiting but he wouldn’t advise on antiemetics and to ask gastro instead (who then said that wasn’t her area either). He said the pain was from myofascial pain syndrome affecting the pelvic floor, with hormones causing flare ups. He didn’t listen when I said the pain he found felt very different to my flare up pain. He wanted me to do pelvic physio, which I’d already recently finished treatment with and my physio said she had checked the same areas he found to be painful. He said this could be with or without pelvic floor injections. I told him I didn’t feel I had enough information to decide, to which he replied that I had this conversation (?), the letter, and I could book an additional appointment if I wanted - I’m unsure how this would’ve helped. When I received the letter it said the injections were CT guided and done under sedation, which he had not mentioned. Later when I spoke with my insurance they wanted to know why the sedation was necessary, which I could not answer. He uses some sort of AI assistance during appointments but doesn’t explain beforehand. Both my letters have several mistakes. He did emphasise in the letter that his diagnosis was separate from endometriosis in order for my insurance to cover treatment for me. I tried removing my IUS and have had no pain or vomiting since. My gynaecologist now thinks the IUS was causing my flare ups. So I don’t believe Dr Cregg’s treatment plan would’ve worked. I have since seen another pelvic physio for a second opinion who said since I now have no pain, she doesn’t think I should pursue his treatment plan. I have not been able to reproduce the pain from his examination, so she thought possibly I was nervous and tense in his appointment.

Dr. Wei took great care and time with me during our appointment, to listen to my concerns, symptoms, answer any questions, discuss treatment options, and to ensure after a treatment plan was agreed upon, that I understood next steps, and even further possible treatments. She was incredibly warm, present, and genuinely interested in what my experience was and why I had sought out further investigation. Her expertise and knowledge and invested interest in her patients well-being, even past their time with her, is evident, and she made me feel informed, validated and less alone while navigating a new health journey. It gave me faith again in healthcare professionals who genuinely care about their patients well-being and are able not only to provide excellent care, but also excellent bedside manner and are collaborative in their approach. I would highly recommend her as a healthcare professional and am so grateful that our paths crossed at a challenging time for myself.

I would like to sincerely thank Dr Bansi and his entire team for the outstanding care they provided to my mother. From the very beginning, they were incredibly professional, compassionate, and attentive. Dr Bansi acted quickly and efficiently in arranging the necessary procedures to diagnose her issues. The whole team worked seamlessly together, ensuring that everything was handled promptly without unnecessary delays. Their communication was clear and reassuring, which gave our family great confidence during a stressful time. What truly stood out was not only their efficiency but also their kindness and genuine concern for my mother’s wellbeing. We felt supported at every step of the process. We are extremely grateful for the excellent care and would highly recommend Dr Bansi and his team to anyone seeking dedicated and efficient medical professionals.

I was very happy with the facilities at Nuffield Woking and all the staff were friendly, supportive and efficient - I had a booking in nurse, a physio (providing equipment and advice, ensuring I know how to the equipment safely), someone took my after op food order ensuring my dietary requirments (Coeliac) were catered for, an after procedure nurse who made regular checks and provided discharge advice and a pharmacist, who provided after care medication and advice on dosage and requirements. All of these memeber so staff were very polite, caring and provided clear advice - I felt very well cared for and looked after. Thank you everyone.

I would highly recommend Skylight for anyone seeking an ND assessment. From the initial inquiry to the final report, the communication was exceptional—they explained every step of the process so I knew exactly what to expect. Key Highlights: Wait Times: The appointments ran perfectly on time, which I truly appreciated. Supportive Staff: They were patient with my questions and created a non-judgmental environment. Helpfulness: They provided clear next steps and resources that felt genuinely useful rather than generic. It’s clear they actually 'get' neurodivergence rather than just checking boxes

Dear Natasha, Thank you for your brilliant service, as always. I always feel so relieved after our sessions. I used to be unsure about physiotherapy and had tried several physiotherapists before, but you have completely changed my opinion. When my doctor referred me to you, he was confident that I would be satisfied—and he was absolutely right. I will now be his mirror copy in recommending you to others. Thank you so much for helping me regain my strength and confidence. I am truly grateful for your support and encouragement.

The staff were friendly and kept me updated with what was happening. The only thing that I believed could have been handled slightly different was the ordering of food. Prior to my operation I was asked to choose food for after the operation and for the next day. As you would imagine the last thing I was thinking about was food. I believe the choices could have been better timed, however this doesn’t take away from the fact I was well looked after in a clean professional environment.

Having dealt with numerous Doctors so far in regards to my Achilles injury, I was left feeling uncertain and not particularly taken care of. In my opinion Mr. Chahal exceeded expectations. Very clear, reassuring and articulate with his message, he wasted no time helping me further through this rehabilitation process. Not that I’d want to make it a regular occurrence, but if I did have further issues he could help me with, he would have a loyal life time customer in me.

I highly recommend her for any worried patents and for full investigations for any neurology concerns.

I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff here and if I could I would give them all a huge payrise,
