Based on our interactions from the first meeting I had confidence in Dr Sadek’s expertise, his assessment of my condition and the recommended actions and treatment plan. His communication was clear, professional and I all my questions and concerns were addressed. I needed additional test to be cleared for surgery. The response to unforeseen developments was also prompt and efficient. In addition to the overall positive experience, I would like to highlight Dr Sadek’s friendliness, genuine empathy and impressive memory, which was evident from reports following extended discussions about my condition.

After almost a year of tests under another organisation, Dr Woodland was almost instantly able to pinpoint what my problem was and create a plan of action for my treatment going ahead. He also told me I was unlikely to need the tests that I was booked in for elsewhere, which would have saved me a lot of money had I been paying for them privately. Although I am still on the road to complete health, Dr Woodland was very good at putting things into perspective for me, which has given me hope! My surgeon was Shohista Saidkasimova and she was really wonderful. She put me at ease during the initial consultation, extremely interested in all my questions and explaining all items of the surgery in layman’s terms. During the operation she asked what kind of music I liked and supplied this in the background, not intrusively but loud enough to provide an excellent distraction. But what really impressed me was the way she interacted with me personally throughout the operation. I have nothing but praise for this lovely lady and would throughly recommend her.

Firstly what a lovely man dr vani is , so positive and caring . When I came to see dr vani I couldn’t have been in a lower point and was desperate for help. He urgently dealt with my situation and gave me hope when I didn’t feel like I had any . He was fantastic and aftercare he gave was totally different to everything I had been told before . It’s been a slow difficult recovery but I have now been discharged . If you have gastrointestinal issues there is nobody better . And as doctor vani said as I left “ if you ever need me I will be here “

I had a great experience at this practice. The hospital was exceptionally clean, well-structured, and very well organized. There was hardly any waiting time, and I was called in for my appointment surprisingly quickly. The facilities were also outstanding. Both the hospital itself and the X-ray department were equipped with modern, high-quality technology, which made the whole process smooth and efficient. Overall, it was an impressive and reassuring experience.

We went to see Mr Valsamakis about our newborns tongue tie. He was welcoming, friendly and professional. He talked us through our options and was gentle and caring with our newborn. When we decided to go ahead with divided the tongue tie he was made the procedure as painless and gentle as possible. He made sure we had a room to feed afterwards and came to check on us - I got the impression he genuinely carded about us and our newborn.

Spire was brilliant. Clean, Friendly staff, fast process (MRI in just a few days for example). I had a nerve block injection at Murrayfield and I had my own room which was spotless, all the staff were great from the nurse in the ward to the surgeon via the person who brought me lunch (which I could pick off a menu). Would highly recommend (though don’t injure yourself in the first place if you can help it)

I received excellent person centred care. I came for wax removal and discovered I had an ear infection that needed treatment first. The audiologist was very helpful and gave me a referral letter to see the Doctor and once the infection has cleared I could return to complete the wax removal . The Receptionist was welcoming , friendly and helpful from my first phone and on my two visits . Thank you

However, I received a subsequent email and letter from Check4Cancer that was for somebody else's results (there was no identifiable information to who the results pertained to).

Lovely place. It felt calm and reassuring as soon as you walk into reception. Greeted with a smile at reception and this continued throughout the whole process from the lady who provided tea, the nurses, the anaesthetist and the porter.
