About Dr Satpal Arri
Dr Satpal Arri is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at St Thomas' Hospital. He provides specialist care in interventional cardiology and the assessment and management of a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
Dr Arri graduated with distinction from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' School of Medicine in 2006 and became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2009. He was awarded a PhD in Cardiovascular Medicine by King's College London in 2019.
He completed advanced specialty training in cardiology and interventional cardiology at King's College Hospital and St Thomas’ Hospital. Dr Arri subsequently undertook the British Society of Cardiology Interventional Fellowship at Auckland City Hospital, where he gained experience in complex coronary and structural heart intervention. He was later appointed Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Auckland City Hospital and contributed to the development of cardiology services in rural regions.
A former British Heart Foundation Clinical Research Fellow, Dr Arri’s doctoral research focused on coronary physiology and mental stress as a risk factor for myocardial infarction. He has presented at national and international meetings and has authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications and several book chapters.
His clinical practice includes complex coronary and structural interventions, as well as assessment of chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations, hypertension, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and cardiovascular risk.

Excellent consultation explained a lot and ran through the reasions for the after surgery medication and the stent and how it is expanded in the artery, I was accompanied by my daughter not through need but for company she was allowed on my request to sit in on the consultation this In turn saved me from having to go all through it with my family.
