First of all someone who specialised in hand and nerve surgery could never do anything that would not be perfect and in the smallest detail wouldn’t be left aside. She has been amazing and clear and honest expanding the exact result I would have . I was first suggested by another surgeon to just have implants dr Shan explained the benefits of having a lift for the future and I trusted her completely with size and all the procedures that were going to give me the best results and she did. It is so refreshing to have honesty and not be bamboozeled with compliments or promises and come out dizzy out of a consultation room. She is a person that aims for perfection and my results already reassure me of the final result. I am forever grateful and will trust her again.

Daleswood Health is like a breath of fresh air in the midst of health services in the UK. My GP tries to the best they can but frankly they just cannot be flexible and I'd spend visits trying to to fit in their calendar, leaving me waiting for a rushed 10 minute appointment only to then refer me somewhere else. Something had to change. I'm lucky enough that I can spend a little to get a great service and Daleswood Health really deliver exceptional service. My recent visit was for a mole removal. In and out within 50 minutes and the mole had been removed, fantastic service from Dr Oliver Denton and also not forgetting Mary on reception. So glad I've found them. Definitely my go to for health services and fully recommended from me.

The physiotherapist seemed unconcerned by the pain I have been experiencing for nearly a year. He mentioned that I had full movement and so he was not concerned. He kept saying that he would not give me another steroid injection without acknowledging that I didn’t want one. He told me to do some exercises which he showed me how to do once and gave me no paperwork or YouTube link that might assist when I got home. I tried to ask how long I should wait before I made any further action and he said there is no more treatment. I felt like an inconvenience and wish I had gone somewhere else. I would never recommend anyone to see him again. He really made me feel small and insignificant.

Positive perks - the waiting room had adjustable height chairs meaning I didn't have to struggle getting in and out of chairs! Dr Chinoy didn't judge me, or make me feel rushed or that I was an inconvenience (something I have grown accustomed to from the nhs). Despite my symptoms not fitting in with his specialities he recommended a colleague who he feels confident would be able to meet my needs. Although private care is hard on my wallet as a self funder, the advice, treatment and service I received overall made it more than worthwhile.

Mr Neil Walker

I was nervous about this procedure but Mr Walker was very approachable at our first consultation and reassured me about the procedure and what I could expect. On the day of the procedure the staff at the hospital were professional caring and friendly particularly the theatre staff. One man in particular recognised my nerves and chatted to take my mind off the procedure. Mr Walker visited me pre op to numb my hand and once again explained the procedure so that I understood what was going to happen.

I was really happy that I chose to go to Castle Craig. It was my first time in Scotland, coming from London I was a bit nervous about what would happen but the admissions team and Justine in particular were extremely reasurring. The cleaning staff are always around, making sure everything is spotless and the therapists were so impressive and dedicated. I left after six weeks feeling like a new person with a sense of purpose in life. I can't thank everyone at Castle Craig enough!
