Mr Hawary was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I met him in the clinic for an initial consultation he listened to my concerns and made sure that I felt at ease and offered the best solution to ensure my health concerns were rectified. He was also very communicative before the procedure and helped me with issues I was experiencing with my insurance at the time. Regular emails out of hours to put me at ease and offer advice. On the day of the surgery Mr Hawary took the time to visit me to explain the procedure and to put me at ease. It was nice he introduced himself to my companion on the day of surgery and answered all the questions I had. After the surgery Mr Hawary visited me in the recovery room to explain how the procedure went and to give me some after care advice. I also had a follow up consultation a couple of weeks after the surgery where we spoke again about the procedure and after care. Mr Hawary is truly a professional, caring and kind surgeon. I would highly recommend his services. He takes care of his patients and truly cares about their health.

I was admitted to Kings Park Hospital, Stirling for my day case procedure. My experience was very positive from start to finish. The nurse who looked after me on the day was caring, informative and extremely supportive. The theatre team were also, without exception, extremely reassuring and supportive. My Consultant, Mr Payne was exceptional. He was down to earth, approachable, sincerely engaging and very pleasant at all times. He was also very reassuring, involving and informative before, during and after my procedure. He contacted me personally to deliver my results a couple of weeks after the procedure and I felt not only reassured by the good outcome, but was also confident to know that I could approach Mr Payne again at any time for follow-up, if I had any further GI issues. I would absolutely recommend Mr Payne, his Tayside team and Kings Park Hospital to anyone with similar concerns.

I went for a postpartum check up with Aisling Freir, who helped me obtain a better understanding of where I was at in my recovery and where I needed support. She gave me helpful guidance on c-section massage as well as easy floor exercises to remediate my ab separation. I also saw Camryn Roberts for reformer Pilates. She really helped me to engage my core again and to regain confidence and strength. Both were very kind and understanding of the mental and physical challenges that can arise following childbirth.

The reason I didn't give five stars to all the points is that the hospital slightly fell down on its admin/paperwork. On my first visit the address of my GP practice was incorrect, although I had given the correct one; the discharge notes were almost illegible; and I was not given an advice leaflet from Bright-Eyes on how to proceed with eye management for the first 24hrs or so, until I was able to speak to Mr Bender.

The staff and hospital are both excellent. It was nice to wait for an operation in a quiet and calm environment with friendly staff. The only downside was broken equipment in theatre so my first operation was cancelled. Then a broken light bulb during a follow up appointment which meant Mr Ramkisoon couldn't use the sight chart.
