In October I had bilateral cataract surgery with enhanced monofocal toric lenses at Moorfields Eye Hospital (New Cavendish Street), with a two-week interval. My ophthalmic surgeon was the very skilful Dr. R. Deshmukh, who, after the initial clarifying consultations comprehensively explaining the different options for IOL’s, performed two excellent surgeries. To my surprise, they only lasted about 20 minutes each. I was recommended an anaesthetist, Dr. D. Celaschi, who is extremely professional as well as highly attentive. Beforehand, I didn’t realise how pleasantly relaxed the sedation would make me feel. On the day of the second surgery, the initial blurriness disappeared within a few hours. After many years, I was delighted to have clear vision near to far without the need of glasses! My recovery in general happened very swiftly. Together with the amazing nurses I was in the best of hands, and I would like to thank each of them for their incredible care. Also, a big thank you to Dr. Deshmukh’s practise manager Paula Jessup for arranging my appointments, etc.; and lastly, thank you to the welcoming, courteous, and helpful receptionists at this hospital.

I am currently undergoing treatment at Bourn Hall. At every single step the members of staff have exhibited amazing customer service. Every single nurse, receptionist, doctor, anaesthetist, embryologist, pharmacist and everyone there has been respectful, kind, gentle, reassuring, calm and knowledgeable. In particular, Nurse Dawn at Cambridge has gone above and beyond to support me as an autistic patient. She has patiently answered all my questions, made adjustments for my comfort, and reassured me over and over again. She even popped my teddy from my bag onto my bed for me when I was recovering from general anaesthetic which was so touching and thoughtful. I am also particularly thankful to the embryologist team who also have found ways to adhere to my special requests. I'm also thankful to the anaesthetist who held my hand as I fell asleep under general anaesthetic because I was so frightened. I cannot fault our experience at Bourn Hall.

I had a combined ASD and ADHD assessment at Diverse Minds Clinic. The service exceeded my expectations, and I am very happy to recommend it. Dr Cappai was very kind and thorough in her approach and made me feel welcome and accepted throughout the difficult process of having these two assessments done. She is very experienced and gave me several personal recommendations which I will use. I would recommend my partner as well; I had a great experience.

Extremely impressive level of care. My husband arrived for a scheduled appointment with our two daughters. The little one did not have an appointment, but had felt unwell during the night. The staff were able to see her and treat her immediately. She would otherwise have had a very difficult time of it, and we were incredibly grateful for their care and attention. Amazing staff (Daniela, Semi) and doctors!!! Doctor Liong Mee Hi was wonderful with our daughter, prescribing the right mix of things to help get her back on track immediately. Very impressive!

My overall experience was excellent, from the reception staff, being taken to the room, the 1:1 pre-operative discussions with Dr Lowe and Dr Barnard, to the nursing staff (continuity of the nursing staff and Daisy's approach and empathy), the theatre team and the post procedure care. I mentioned to Dr Lowe how impressed I was with the communication between the theatre team, which provided a great deal of confidence. I should also mention how well they communicated with me on a 1:1 basis explaining what they were doing.

Dr Jagsthesen has been excellent, looking after both my husband and me. Not only is he highly professional and knowledgeable, he takes as much care of our physiological well-being as he does our physical needs. He has a very patient manner, answering my (many) questions without hesitation and in a clear and concise way. Finally, he has a great sense of humour; which puts one at ease without feeling that he is not taking our issues absolutely seriously. I would highly recommend.

I had a total knee replacement which was carried out at Spire hospital. Elland. From my first consultation to my last were both informative and reassuring. The whole team from the nursing, physio and theatre staff were all excellent.. My surgeon, Mr Rajput has done an absolute fantastic job. and I would highly recommend him. Not only is he extremely talented as an orthopaedic surgeon, he also shows empathy and an understanding of the patient’s concerns and needs.

It was average. £380 for a 30 min appointment in a Knightsbridge mansion... Disappointing not to be offered any water or tea/coffee whilst waiting and being told to arrive 30 minutes before. Was expecting a high-end service. Felt very basic and outdated, but I cannot fault the clinical service and everyone was friendly. Just feels like a complete rip-off and completely out of proportion cost.

David has a vast amount of knowledge and a very relaxed and friendly manner. He treated me over a number of months for several issues and I now only see him a couple of times a year for maintenance. The exercises he gave me were thoroughly explained to me and easy to follow. I can’t recommend David highly enough - I even travel from Edinburgh to see him!

We saw Dr Shaerf for a wrist injury my daughter experienced in gymnastics. He had a great manner with her and was helpful in explaining what may be causing her pain and what the course of treatment may be once we find out more. He was on time, listened to us and we will continue to seek treatment from him once we learn more from tests.

I saw Dr Lewis Raiman and he was great. Very welcoming, listening and providing detailed explanation on diagnostic and treatment. I really felt that he is knowledgeable and experienced and felt in great hands. Even as he was doing the scan, he took time to explain to me what I was looking at and where we could see the inflammation.

I was extremely nervous about my visit to Cathedral Eye Clinic, but l was immediately put at ease by the calm atmosphere, and the friendly and polite reception staff. Orlatha' explanations and calm manner, during examination of my eyes, further reassured me. I was treated with courtesy by all members of staff.
