I wanted to take a moment to share what this journey has meant to me and to sincerely thank you and your team for being part of one of the biggest decisions of my life. I’ve battled with my weight for as long as I can remember. In July 2022, I hit my breaking point after seeing a photo of myself at my heaviest. I was ashamed, overwhelmed, and completely defeated. I avoided mirrors and felt exhausted and unhappy. Over the years, I had tried everything—diets, medications, fitness programs—but nothing gave me lasting change. I felt stuck. Choosing bariatric surgery was not an easy decision. It came with tears, fear, doubt, and a lot of soul-searching. I know not everyone understands or agrees with this choice, but for me it was never about appearance. It was about choosing a healthier, happier, longer life. It was about being here for my family and the people I love. It was about choosing myself. From my very first appointment, the care, compassion, and reassurance I received from you, the consultant, and the entire team made such a difference. Every question was answered, every worry was taken seriously, and I always felt supported rather than judged. The kindness, professionalism, and encouragement shown to me before and after surgery helped me feel confident in my decision and safe throughout the process. The fear of not being present for my family someday scared me far more than surgery ever could. Thank you for the exceptional care, guidance, and support you have all shown me. You haven’t just helped me through a procedure—you’ve helped give me a real chance at a new beginning, and for that I will always be grateful.

Overall the experience was great. Justyna was simply amazing, super positive, supportive and caring. I felt very looked after. Where things could be improved - better communication in terms of the order of surgery. My expectations was for a 2:30 surgery, but instead I had to wait for an elongated period without anyone communicating with me or my wife. I don’t think anyone offered my wife a cup of tea or other which would have been nice. Post surgery in the recovery room, the ladies began to inclune the bed before I was ready and to the point where I experienced a lot of pain at the surgery point. I found this very distressing and was not needed. A more progressive approach to inclining the bed would have been much better and I could have let them know I was at my comfortable limit, as opposed to being pushed passed it and into pain. I believe as a result of this pain, they gave me a heavy dose of morphine which kept me groggy for a long period into the evening. I would question if this was needed if they hadn’t pushed me past my comfortable limits.

I went to the Urgent Care Centre at Chase Lodge Hospital, Mill Hill London on Saturday Nov. 29th 2025. I was seen immediately by an outstanding Urgent Care MD, Dr. Jalal Moradzadeh. He listened, he checked me thoroughly, ordered the required tests, sent me for Chest-Xray (done on site), while spending the time explaining it all. At the end, he diagnosed with bacterial pneumonia and bilateral conjunctivitis, prescribed the appropriate treatment which was started on-site (pharmacy on site). The following day, a Sunday, he arranged for me a Chest-CT and an appointment with respiratory physician specialist for the following Monday. The whole team, each and everyone, the receptionists, the nurse, the Xray person and the pharmacist were all helpful, efficient and professional. They all played a role in my speedy recovery. I returned to the Centre on Saturday Jan. 17th and was seen again by Dr. Dr. Jalal Moradzadeh on a related issue and again encountered, professionalism, efficiency all with a smile.

Mr Rodriguez is very personable and explains everything clearly in non medical terms to you as the patient, ensuring that you are clear on what is causing your symptoms and the corresponding appropriate treatment path. You feel relaxed to ask any questions or for clarifications, and he encourages you to give your feedback to him in terms of being clear on the technical information he is providing, and without embarrassment, if you struggle with the medical complexities and need him to explain these again. I was very impressed by Mr Rodriguez both as an expert in his field and also in the kind way he interacts with you during your consultation. He was kind in personally taking me to show me where the MRI suite was in the Manor Hospital in order to book my MRI. You will be in safe and caring hands.

Mr walls was down to earth, approachable, and actually quite good fun as well as being professianal, claire was just lovely, funny and caring too! I'm not planning on having anymore lumps removed anytime soon... but if I do, I will ask for Mr Walls! The receptionist was a bit of a sassy diva (I didn't catch his name, but I did catch all the eye rolls) he could do better... although it did not spoil my experience, so a fabulous 10 out of 10! For Mr walls and Claire... as for the receptionist, well. meh... I've been treated better at Edith Cavell, just saying.

Dr Thuvarahan Amuthalingam

Saw Dr Thuva for a removal of what I thought was a mole, but he explained that it was actually a sebhorriec keratosis. I had no idea what that was, but he showed me some examples and explained the differences. He looked at it with his magnifying tool to confirm, and then gave me treatment options. He advised on the best one for me, and removal was done on the same day. It was quick and painless, and he gave me all the aftercare advice I needed. Any follow up questions I had, he was more than happy to help.

I recently had a great experience at Fortius Clinic London from beginning to end. My appointment started on time, the clinic was spotless and well-run, and there were very few wait times. I felt more at ease because of the friendly and professional staff. Throughout my visit, Mr. Johan Witt was kind, informed, and comforting. He made sure I was at ease at every turn and gave me a clear explanation of the process. His experience was very clear, and the hip injections went smoothly and painlessly.

I have always been happy with the service and patient experience at the London Clinic. However, when I went for my MRI on a Saturday morning, MRI department was closed and there was no information about it. I had to go around the hospital to try and find out what was going on. After about an hour I was finally sent to another MRI scanner on a different floor . The clinicians there were lovely and very apologetic about the experience I had although it was not their fault.

I found the number of emails related to the appointments to be unnecessary and extreme. I was asked to complete a pre appointment questionnaire online. I did so and then received 3 further emails and a text message asking me to do the same. I have also received 4 emails asking me to give this feedback. Please look at your system. Filling your clients inboxes with multiple emails is not helpful for anyone.

Greeted well by Amanda the secreatary and nurse on arrival. Dr Ridout greeted me with a smile and handshake, addressed me by name and personally conducted me to her office. She was warm, positive, respectful and dealt with my needs very professionally. I was re- assured with the positive measures organised. The blood work was excellently completed. A satisfactory and uplifting experience.

I moved house before Christmas and during the process I lifted a piano (big mistake!), sofa, wardrobes, beds, washing machine etc. This resulted in severe pain in my lower back and left leg. I couldn't sleep at night and made an appointment to see Josh. I walked into the treatment room in pain and walked out pain free!!!!!!! I 've already booked in for another treatment next week. J W.

My appointment was exactly on time. Dr Ling was lovely, she listened to me and was reassuring. She treated me there and then and I was only there for around 15 minutes. No waiting. Excellent service. Just a note: there are major roadworks directly outside the hospital so give an extra 10 minutes on your journey time when travelling to an appointment.
