Wow, what an amazing place with a holistic approach to recovery. Far from previous experiences that simply provide a detox and a few tools tacked on the end. Delamere provides any willing individual the opportunity to explore yourself and a way of life that can truly bring balance and happiness. The food was excellent, home cooked with minimal processed food, probably only the tofu as the vegetarian option was processed, along with bacon and sausage for breakfast. Chefs were very approachable and friendly, even gained some advice on what to cook at home. The overall environment was clean, tidy and well maintained. The liaison team were excellent and always on hand to support and guide when needed.The nursing team were also superb, always there to answer any medical questions in a compassionate way. The mentors provided clear direction without judgement or bias. My therapist was second to none and created a safe environment for me to discover myself, while always being there to catch me when I stumbled. All in all a life changing experience. I have left with a solid toolset and aftercare package that will steer me through a joyful life with my friends and family. Only negative was the insane temperature in the bedrooms…..bring some cool PJs.

Mental State Examination - of the psychiatrist Pleasant on interaction, quickly establishes a warm rapport and puts you at ease. His questions are structured but feel natural, and he allows you to go off on tangents while gently bringing you back on track when needed. He explains his thinking clearly, checks your understanding, and comes across as calm, grounded and genuinely interested. Throughout the assessment he was fully present, respectful and kind, while still being appropriately thorough and evidence-based. Impression Dr Athanasios Tsoumpris is a highly competent and compassionate Consultant Psychiatrist with real expertise in adult ADHD. I felt listened to, taken seriously and never rushed, and I left the assessment feeling understood and hopeful rather than judged. I am very happy with my diagnosis and the way it was reached, and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone seeking an ADHD assessment or ongoing care.

I visited Chapter One with my 4 year old child, we both had an appointment with Ashley. The practice is immaculate, beautifully designed and feels more like a luxury spa than a dental practice. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, we were made to feel welcome and relaxed. Ashley was charming, instantly putting us at ease, involving my daughter with everything she was doing and making it a fun experience. With regards to my appointment, Ashley was very informative, ensuring I had time to ask questions and I left assured I was in highly capable hands. All the equipment was state of the art and I now have ultimate confidence in my dental routine. Easily the most professional and positive dental visit I have had, I would thoroughly recommend Chapter One and will be signing up to one of their care plans for my family.

Dr Thomas has been consistently looking after my blood work, my results, and my menopause and HRT management. I feel she has an excellent understanding of my personal health situation, and she always goes out of her way to find solutions. Her approach is holistic, up to date, and rooted in the latest research — she’s very aware of new medications, evolving HRT options, and the best ways to benefit from them. Her general health advice has been incredibly helpful too. I feel genuinely listened to and supported. She never rushes me, and she takes the time to hear every concern I bring into the room. For the first time, I feel that a doctor is truly on the same page as me, and that is incredibly valuable.

RTN Mental Health - Private

The most stressful and frustrating part of using RTN services is the lack of communication and poor response times. I have used RTN both via the right to choose path and for a private assessment. You would expect the private service to be quicker and have better communication but this has not been my experience. It is impossible to get hold of anybody. I have sent multiple emails and left voicemail but there is no sense of urgency in responding and waiting times are long. You don't even receive an acknowledgement or holding email to manage expectations. Some very basic and easy changes could be made to make the customer experience so much better.

We chose Montrose as they appeared on a lot of ‘Right to Choose’ websites and were rated by the CQC and as soon as I called Mollie and the team’s support has been superb. The charges and plans were shared upfront and were explained well. We paid to have a private Adult ADHD assessment and the speed of the booking / assessment/report/ treatment plans and meetings were quick. Communication was excellent and most of all the support was top notch and expert. We have felt very supported and very secure that we are getting the best life changing support. Disabled parking wasn’t available at the car park for the Diagnostic Centre or at Outpatients at the main site. In fact, there were no spaces for anyone to park. Although I arrived at the car park in good time, being unable to park meant I had to drive around until I found a spot to park on the street, the very thing that Kingsbridge is advising patients not to do. The onus should be on Kingsbridge, not the patient, to have planned adequate patient parking before offering private patient services.

I recently visited Lanthorn Clinic in Farringdon for an advanced blood test and a shoulder ultrasound, and the whole experience was genuinely excellent. The team were positive, helpful and incredibly efficient throughout. The clinic itself is spotless, with a clean and relaxing aesthetic that immediately puts you at ease. Every member of staff I interacted with was friendly, professional and made the process feel straightforward from start to finish.

However, I received a subsequent email and letter from Check4Cancer that was for somebody else's results (there was no identifiable information to who the results pertained to).
