The appointment with the specialist gastroenterologist and blood test, reception, bookings etc was fine, no wait, quick, efficient and friendly. All very good. The MRI was another story. I have shared my feedback with the experience team. See below. How are your staff performing procedures on patients trained? The team I was handed over looked more like students under training with no supervision, it was scary to be left alone with them for an MRI. Are you cutting costs so that no doctors are available on the day of my procedure? I have been better taken care of by the NHS ! I have just had the worst experience for what should have been a simple MRI procedure. The team I was handed to were unable to find a suitable vein to perform the dye injection. They tried several times, I asked to call someone else to try, the man who arrived didn't manage either and it was even more painful, they ended up harming both my arms. There were no doctors available. I insisted to see one. They said we could maybe do the MRI without the dye solution injected in my arms. They asked me what I wanted to do?! I replied I was not a doctor and the decision was not with me as I have no idea what it involves. Finally after waiting for over 20mins in a freezing room, with just a light layer to cover me, a doctor arrived. He said we shouldn't do an MRI without injecting the dye solution. Eventually he managed to do the needle procedure very well and easily and it was not painful at all. He left straight after. The MRI happened but no explanation was given to me by the team, who looked more like "in learning students with no supervision", I just prayed they actually knew what they were doing but I was very doubtful... no feedback on how it went, how long left during the MRI, when the results would be coming etc. I had MRIs with HCA in the past, a totally different experience. Doctors seem to be good at Cleveland but the staff I met yesterday was undertrained and there is obviously a management / administration problem. NHS does better on some instances. We pay a fortune for these types of clinics, this is shocking. I will never trust this place for any further procedures handling my health and body.

Mr Devaraj Srinivasamurthy

Brilliant, following varicose vein surgery (radio frequency ablation), very little bruising and now, 2 months on, very little scarring which is reducing every week. Mr Srinivasmurthy's method of stitches for the small cuts to remove the 'branch' veins (8 in total) were very small, his adhesive compression bandage and an elasticated stocking remained in place for 7 days as I was instructed. I also walked every hour of every waking day for that first 7 days for 10 minutes at the beginning, increasing to 30 minutes as the week progressed (a total of 40 miles!) - I felt great! When the dressings came off, my skins was quite dry so I started using my usual moisturiser over the entire leg and used Arnica Salve (from Neale's Yard, about £20 a pot. The pot look small but you only use a small amount, I feel that also helped reduce the bruising and helped me heal quicker. Mr Srinivasamurthy is exceedingly thorough, he took a detailed case history at the initial consultation and explained exactly what the procedure involved. He went through the procedure again, directly with me prior to the procedure and spoke to me like a human being during the surgery, administering additional local anaesthetic as and when required. I am truly thankful for his service and would recommend him highly.

After years and years of very compromised life quality, extreme discomfort and pain, I visited Professor Brookes who identified my relatively severe pelvic congestion syndrome, and proceeded to carry out pelvic vein embolisation. Almost immediately I felt like I had been given my life back. No one else had been able to help before him. He has since had to carry out a couple of further embolisations for new problem veins. He has to be one of the best in this field in the country, if not worldwide! The nurses and team he works with are also always lovely and helpful. A super talented doctor who makes you feel instantly at ease, actually listening to the patient, and clearly explaining everything you would need to know in detail. Topped up with a general impeccable bedside manner, warmth, humour and charm. An overall wonderful experience. I couldn’t more highly recommend. Thank you 🙏 again PB!

My experience from start to finish was brilliant. The information provided during consultation was detailed and all was clear on the approach to the operation. Upon arrival at Nuffield health the welcome was fantastic, everyone was very nice and extremely helpful. Any questions I had about the surgery were answered clearly and all processes were explained well prior to the operation. My operation went well and I was back home the same day. Mr.Dimitri explain there would be post op bruising and some pain, which were exactly right. I took his advice and kept asking mobile as I could without damaging myself, within a week began to stretch my leg and within two and half weeks I was back on the treadmill. I'm post op by about 8 weeks now and the scars are minimal. I hope I won't need it, but if I do need to go back for more surgery, I will be selecting Mr.Dimitri.

I attended Monaghan & Morrow clinic for a vasectomy procedure in February this year. I got booked in within 2 weeks of initial contact. I was naturally anxious about the procedure but the guys made me feel at home from the minute I walked in. The procedure was pretty much pain free. Stephen & Gillian also clearly communicated pain/brusing etc over the days following, which was very reassuring. Also a check-in email the following day to confirm all was ok. (which it was) After some initial tenderness, I was back running within 1 week of the vacetomy. The follow up semen analysis was also very straightforward. I received the kit in the post with instructions. Results were then emailed within a few weeks. I could not recommend Monaghan & Morrow enough.

We chose Montrose as they appeared on a lot of ‘Right to Choose’ websites and were rated by the CQC and as soon as I called Mollie and the team’s support has been superb. The charges and plans were shared upfront and were explained well. We paid to have a private Adult ADHD assessment and the speed of the booking / assessment/report/ treatment plans and meetings were quick. Communication was excellent and most of all the support was top notch and expert. We have felt very supported and very secure that we are getting the best life changing support. I came in to see Urja after experiencing months of tightness in the body. I also had a chest infection a couple months before and it left me with a lot of tightness in my chest/lungs and I wasn’t able to breathe at full capacity. Immediately after my session, my body felt like it was 99% back to baseline and I could take a full deep breath again. Emotionally, I also felt so much more free and relieved. Disabled parking wasn’t available at the car park for the Diagnostic Centre or at Outpatients at the main site. In fact, there were no spaces for anyone to park. Although I arrived at the car park in good time, being unable to park meant I had to drive around until I found a spot to park on the street, the very thing that Kingsbridge is advising patients not to do. The onus should be on Kingsbridge, not the patient, to have planned adequate patient parking before offering private patient services.

She is very personable and gave me the opportunity to ask questions. I was very happy with both appointments. My initial appointment was following sudden floaters with the 2nd appointment for follow up. I'm not sure which category that comes under on the next page, so have clicked one so I can complete the feedback.
