Ben has honestly been the best doctor I've ever had. He consistently went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable, assured and well informed each visit and in between visits. I came to Ben having struggled to get pregnant for 6 months. I was nervous and am a chronic overthinker with a thousand questions. From the first appointment, he puts me at ease with his warm demeanor, answering all questions with patience and thoroughly explaining answers with a mix of scientific literature and personal experience to ground his rational. He listens attentively and makes a stressful circumstance feel less intense by helping you build realistic plans that inspire hope. Ben leaves no stone unturned, doing a very thorough assessment of all possible causes of infertility but does so in a cost effective way to advise a cost effective approach. He impressed me when he caught an issue that was affecting my husband's and my fertility when he recommended a DNA fragmentation test of my husband's sperm. This wasn't caught by my husband's eurologist, but in the end it turned out to be the main issue. Ben recommended a treatment plan and we were able to proceed from there. Besides Ben's, expertise, his patient care is impeccable. He follows up appointments with a patient consultation letter within the same day and absolutely blew my mind when he offered his WhatsApp number inviting me to bring any questions I had to him between appointments. He meant it too as I did follow up a number of times and he responded usually within a day or two, which was helpful when I wasn't quite sure about the timings of a medication I had to start and needed a quick answer. Ben further impressed me by welcoming my husband to join a WhatsApp group I set up between us so that he could ask Ben some of his own fertility questions and hear the answers to mine which was very convenient. He even helped us when my husband has questions about a post fertility surgery symptom he had which was helpful between appointments with my husband's doctor. It all ended very well when I was just about to undergo a treatment when miraculously I became naturally pregnant. I showed Ben my results to get his and he was the first to congratulate me and we booked a blood test which confirmed it. A 7 week scan followed and we were overjoyed to see the baby was safe and doing well. This meant that I had to be discharged from Ben's care as his job was done. I was genuinely sad to have to find another doctor as I can't imagine finding a better experience. Huge thanks to you Ben for your great care. All the best!

I had an initial appointment with Dr Lauren Colquhoun and Emily Holt at Willow Health, and honestly, it was such a positive experience. The appointment was meant to be an hour, but there was absolutely no rush and they actually spent around 1 hour 15 minutes with me just to make sure everything was covered properly. They really look at everything, my age, lifestyle including diet, exercise and sleep pattern, my long-term health conditions, and all the symptoms I’ve been struggling with. They didn’t rush me at all. They gave me some initial ideas to get started and said we’d talk through options once I’d had time to think things over and review the follow up materials, which I really appreciated. I left feeling genuinely supported and reassured. It was the first time in a long while that I felt confident I was getting the right advice, something you just don’t get in a 10-minute GP appointment. Would 100% recommend Willow Health to anyone needing proper advice, guidance and support.

St Joseph’s Hospital

I was at St Josephs for a repair to the rotator cuff of my right shoulder. Admission was at 11:00 hrs and I was shown to a private room with ensuite bathroom, bed, easy chair and TV with Internet and Sky access. A nurse took a set of observations and both the surgeon and anaesthetist came in to discuss my surgery and confirm my consent. At 12:00 I walked in gown and slippers to the operating theatre and once on the operating table I was connected to various monitors. A pre med drug was injected via a canula on the back of my right hand. At 13:00hrs I woke up in the recovery room with the operation complete. After a short while my bed was wheeled back to my room. Further sets of observations were taken and later I was given my choice of post op snack and coffee. A physio came to see me and gave me a sheet of recommended exercises. At 19:00 my daughter arrived to take me home. I was happy with all aspects of the day.

Couldn't fault any of the staff here, all very welcoming, comforting and professional, made me feel at ease at all times and nothing was too much trouble. I ended up with a few complications from my surgery due to my body not at all accepting the procedure and amount that had been done but the staff and my consultant Mr Harley were on top of it literally immediately. Due to not being a straight forward healer they insisted an open door policy at any time day or night if any concerns. The hospital is very very clean and all policies and procedures are followed to the tee. Honestly a brilliant experience all due to them!

I cannot recommend Mr Ahmed highly enough. His management of my arthritic hip was exceptional. My health issues go well beyond my hip and Mr Ahmed took the time to listen and understand - ensuring my overall care was tailored to my needs. My recovery has been challenging, mainly due to my long-term back pain, but despite this I’ve been delighted by the relief gained from my new hip. My surgeon was Shohista Saidkasimova and she was really wonderful. She put me at ease during the initial consultation, extremely interested in all my questions and explaining all items of the surgery in layman’s terms. During the operation she asked what kind of music I liked and supplied this in the background, not intrusively but loud enough to provide an excellent distraction. But what really impressed me was the way she interacted with me personally throughout the operation. I have nothing but praise for this lovely lady and would throughly recommend her.

Mr Hawary has been absolutely wonderful. I was very stressed and in pain when I walked in to meet him. His huge smile and warm welcome allayed my fears. He was extremely kind, professional but with such compassion and explained everything very clearly. I had complete trust in him and his ability to help me. I received a total knee replacement under Mr Andy Gray at Tees Valley hospital in July 2025. 4 months on and my life has been changed totally. I am totally pain free, fully mobile. I regularly go for 5 mile walks without pain or a limp. My scar has now healed and is virtually invisible. I cannot thank Mr Gray and his team enough.

Mr. Kulkarni has been my eye specialist for a great many years. Originally I went to him because I had some pain in one eye and had some laser treatment for that and it was cured. Later I was operated on for cataract and the miracle of not having to wear glasses all the time only for reading has been wonderful. I return annually or more often. Recently after a fall on my face I had my eyes checked just in case.
