I saw Mr Rasheed at a really difficult point in my life, when I was dealing with a condition that felt serious and overwhelming. From the very first appointment, it never felt like he was just doing his job. He would sit down with me properly, talk to me as a person, ask how I was doing, and take the time to calm me down before anything else. It never felt rushed or purely clinical. What meant the most to me was how personal his approach was. Every time I saw him, he remembered things I had told him before, asked about my life, and treated me like a human being, not just a patient. Our conversations weren’t all business. We talked, we laughed, and he had a way of easing the anxiety I was carrying. In many ways, it felt more like sitting with someone who genuinely cared, almost like a friend, rather than just a consultant. At the same time, he took my condition completely seriously. He listened carefully, diagnosed the problem, and gave me the right treatment without ever rushing decisions, even when surgery was involved. I trusted him fully and never had a moment of doubt. Over time, my condition improved steadily, and less than a year later I am fully recovered, healed, and discharged, something I never thought would be possible when I first came to see him. From the bottom of my heart, choosing Mr Rasheed was one of the best decisions I have ever made. He is an exceptional consultant and an incredible person, and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for genuine care, reassurance, and trust in their doctor.

I was seen on time. Mr Bansal gave me plenty of time to talk and examined my knees and sent me for XRays which were swiftly carried out. On re interview I was shown my X-rays which were explained and then faced with a decision on surgery which was a little intimidating as it is major and it all seems to happen so fast and is a bit scary. At that point possibly a bit more information about what it entails and what the likelihood of success is might help although I understand the consultant can’t lead the patient as it is their own decision to make. Just a bit more chit chat around knee arthritis disease and knee surgery in general and what stage mine are at and what likely progression might look like have taken a bit of pressure off my decision which I felt was a bit hurried and therefore potentially not too well informed. However I want to stress the consultant was perfectly nice and his and the other staffs service overall was superb in an excellent environment at the hospital.. Maybe a short period of grace (say a week)could be afforded on these major decisions so that one has a chance to fully consider the ramifications. Hence my score is 4 not 5. But it is still 4 star which is very good.

Newmedica Leeds. 5* Care from start to finish. My optician at Specsavers suggested it was time to consider cataract surgery and I was offered an NHS referral to my choice of providers. I chose Newmedica Leeds and just over 2-3 weeks later had an initial consultation at Newmedica. Unfortunately my high blood pressure caused some problems and delayed the first cataract operation to my left eye, after 4-5 weeks weeks I had surgery on my first eye and 5-6 weeks later my second eye was done. Without exception all of the staff I met at Newmedica were friendly, helpful, and very caring. The consultant who carried out the procedure on both eyes (Mr. Kamran Khan) took the time to explain the procedure and answer my questions. During the procedures he was reassuring and calmly explained what was happening. Both procedures were carried out successfully and my sight is so much better now. I would like to give a big thank you to Mr Kamran Khan and his team and my Optometrist Summer Elyoussfi and her team for all the care and attention I received. I have no hesitation in recommending Newmedica Leeds.

I have seen Dr Alexandra Pittock a handful of times via video appointments and twice in person while going through my ADHD consultations and titration onto Elvanse. The care and support I have received from her has genuinely been life changing. Dr Pittock has helped me understand my ADHD in a way that has completely changed how I approach my life. After many years of struggling to make sense of certain challenges, she has given me clarity, reassurance and practical guidance that has made a real difference to my day-to-day life. Starting treatment under her guidance has been a very positive experience, and I now feel like I am looking forward rather than constantly looking back. She is warm, kind and very easy to talk to, which immediately puts you at ease. At the same time, she is clearly extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful in her approach. I always feel listened to during appointments, never rushed, and fully supported in decisions about my treatment. I would highly recommend Dr Pittock to anyone seeking assessment or support for ADHD.

All seemed to be going well and at the close of my appointment the consultant asked me to have a blood test done outwith the Cathedral Also he advised that I should make an appointment for the operating procedure downstairs at reception. Circa end of April When I went to the desk I was advised that the member of staff was off that pm and I would receive a call tomorrow Next day I contacted my surgery about the blood sample and test. Late on my surgery called back to advise they were not willing to arrange the test as they were not treating me I received no call from Cathedrai that day The next day I waited to on and called Cathedral Spoke to Clare a few times and essence of conversation was that all was on hold as consultant on holiday and not available till 17th February Also no progress can be made with blood sample and rest even although I asked them to read my consultation notes !!! So I could comment more however this is the essence of a mot disappointing situation after my consultation

Overall, I had a good experience at the Fitzrovia Suite. The midwives were supportive, kind, and readily available, providing good care following my c section. I was particularly grateful for the overnight support. The team helped look after my baby, ensuring I was able to get much-needed sleep and rest, which was invaluable for my recovery. However, The handover process between midwives during shift changes could be better managed, as there were some gaps in communication between team members. Additionally, the catering was fairly average and quite rigid in terms of meal timings and available options, which could be more flexible.

I went as an NHS referral for cataracts and they explained about the various options for both NHS and private. As I work full time and do a lot of computer work I decided to pay to have Rayone Galaxy toric lenses. I am so pleased with the result. After wearing glasses since early teens I am now glasses free! Mr Injarie and all the staff at the clinic were friendly and professional and made you feel at ease. Mr Injarie took time to explain everything and obviously is a brilliant surgeon. I can't thank them enough. I was so nervous about having eye surgery but from start to finish I felt in very safe hands. I would highly recommend.

I had been experiencing right knee pain to the extent I struggled to climb ladders and playing tennis became almost impossible. Mr Shepherd took me through my scan results with clear explanations so I fully understood the condition of my knee and how this may progress. He then explained all options available to me, from simple pain management to total knee replacement. I opted for total knee replacement. The surgical team were amazing throughout and the result is that I was up and about the next day and back on court in six months and playing competitive tennis again in under twelve months.

As soon as I got there I was encouraged to relax, when i went in to the theatre for my procedure the nurses Lissy Jacob and Sue Gatrell made me feel very relaxed and explained how to take the gas and air, then Mr Farrukh Khan the consultant explained in detail what he was about to do. Op went well only a slight bit of pain so quick puff of gas helped. Passed on to recovery nurse who's name i didn't get but she was very good checking me over and making me laugh before discharging me. WOULD SAY ANYONE HAVING TO GO HERE WILL BE WELL LOOKED AFTER.
